Our room did not cleaned during our stay and when I called the front desk I was told that housekeeping had went home and that it would get cleaned the next day - we were checking out the next morning. I had trouble getting connected to the internet the first evening and after 1/2 hour was finally able to connect. Do all hotels now use down filled pillows […] - I have allergies and cannot breathe if I sleep on down filled or feather pillows. Over all I was disappointed in my stay. Continua a leggere
"Just what we needed where we needed it"
For the price it was great. There was a problem with the drain in the shower and they could leave a few extras in the bathroom like conditioner to combat the hard water. Otherwise it had everything we needed.

"Dated but clean and convenient"
Stayed at this Travelodge for one night on my way through Winnipeg. Hotel was very conveniently located right off the Transcanada. Hotel room and hotel in general were both quite dated and in need of a face lift. However, the room and bathroom were very clean. The hotel had quite a number of facilities like a pool, bowling alley, and restaurant / bar […] that would probably be good for families, though I did not personally try them out. Front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. My only real complaint would be that the wireless internet was very slow and unreliable. Made it difficult to get some of my work done. "A litte outdated"
I wish the review allowed for a maybe because I would MAYbe recommend this hotel to others. It seems a bit outdated with its decor. The experience was good, but the room we were given seemed a little second rate. We didn't really feel like we had an privacy as it was our honeymoon. For the quality of decor and quality of rooms, I would have felt better […] paying 20 - 30 dollars less, but for what the hotel staff did for us it made up for that for a few dollars. "one night stay"
My reservation at the Wpg. East Travelodge which I booked on line stated: one person queen bedroom beside the pool. The reservation recieved at the hotel did not list the room as near the pool. Be sure to call ahead to make sure you are getting what you have reserved for.
We encountered one problem this stay. We booked in advance for a 4 night stay, with an extra room for the last night, for our daughter and grand-daughter, who had been staying with a relative. This was so we could get away earlier for our trip home. When got back to the hotel our last night, we entered our room and found that all our things were gone. […] Long story short, the hotel moved our things to our daughters room, which makes no sense. It was fine once we found this out, but I'm sure the cleaning staff were probably wondering why they were moving all our stuff to the same type of room. Past this incident, all was good. Poolside rooms kind of warm, even with air conditioning, but expected. Also we got a conference room to share Shabbot with our family, at a very reasonable price. Continua a leggere
"Nice Stay"
We stayed here for two nights. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The air conditioner quit during the first night but we told the front desk the next morning and by the time we returned in the afternoon, it was fixed. Rooms were clean, beds comfy and hotel quiet at night. Great for families because of convenience to Fun Mt. waterslides, the Forks, museum, and Safeway food and gas next door. Loved the glow in the dark bowling downstairs and the beautiful, clean pool. Also appreciated the laundry facilities but they could use two washers and dryers. Restraunt was good. The room was clean and comfortable; the hotel was quiet and very convenient. I didn't use all the amenities, but everything seemed OK. I would stay here again because of the convenience. The front desk staff weren't quite as attentive as they could have been, but I wasn't in a rush.

"I would recommend this hotel"
I liked that we could find this hotel, you can get to it just off the main road when you are coming from the East. The pizza there is great. As for the other food we had it was way over cooked. The rooms are clean.
"Nice Time"
While the outside of the building isn't going to win any beauty contests the interior was very nice. The pool area was beautiful. This hotel was able to provide the service, security, and cleanliness on par with other hotels where I've paid twice as much/night. And on top of all that, it's pet friendly as well.
The hotel is dated but what you expect for the price. It was clean and bed was super comfy and room service was great.

I love this hotel. The pool area has cozy with lots of tropical plants and a view of the sky. It has a bowling alley attached without going outside which is fun. Great place just to holiday away from home.

"School group in hotel"
We stayed at the hotel 3 nights; 7 grade 7/8 students and 3 chaperones. We really enjoyed the swimming pool, the meals at the restaurant. Breakfasts were very cheap but not very warm at all. The coffee was very weak. But overall, it was great. The staff was fantastic, especially the restaurant waitresses.

The food was excellent - closest thing to home cooked you can get. Everything fresh, including the cooked veggies. The hotel pool has just been relined making it the cleanest hotel pool I've every seen. The hot tub could use some updating. The room was fantastic .... large, clean and bathroom off to the back of the room creating lost of privacy when […] you are traveling with more than your significant other. Safeway is beside the hotel and has a deli along with excelent coffee. The only time we had a disapointment was after the first night we asked for towel and our room not to be made up. Our room didn't get made up but we didn't get towels or coffee either. I'm sure front desk would have resolved the matter if we had enquired. I would stay here again in a heart beat. "This is a fine Hotel...with one small problem!"
I found the noise factor forthcoming from other guests to be deplorable. I complained at the Front Desk and was told that SECURITY would take care of it...well..they didn't sadly, because the noise persisted! ...Otherwise the Hotel is FIRST RATE. The restaurant was excellent, with great service and the food was amazing......i would caution managment […] to not risk putting up with unpleasant guests, as a reason for people to stay away....I will be back!!! Our stay was very pleasant, friendly helpful staff, good restaurant, tasteful decor and layout. Quiet except one very loud incident where a woman banged on a door to be let in and hollered obscenities at about 2 am, until a security person came to look into the problem.

This was the best hotel I could stay because it is closer all my friends 's home. And besides that the hotel is located in a very calm place in the city. Everything that I needed I could find in the hotel area.

The hotel layout was a disappointing surprise; I was not aware that the rooms faced the indoor pool, which did not allow for a quiet evening to catch some early sleep while the guests played in the pool and socialized on the deck (just outisde our door). Also - the adjoining restaurant offers a $2.99 breakfast, which we took advantage of. While the […] food was okay, the cleanliness of the restuarant was not. There were many empty tables available when we arrived (seat yourself), but none were cleared and cleaned. We were very pleased with this hotel. The rate was a great price which was a big reason for us choosing this hotel. The hotel was very clean and we very much enjoyed the swimming pool. The evening staff were polite and the hotel was very quiet, resulting in q good sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. The day staff, on my check-out were very personable as always.
