great position! (close to the Alamo). The room was small but comfortable even if the air conditioned was noisy. Good and funny Texas shaped waffles for breakfast.

Ottima posizione, essendo circa 10 minuti a piedi lontano da downtown. Camera piuttosto confortevole, pulizia accettabile, personale alquanto gentile e disponibile. La colazione fin troppo spartana, ma accettabile. Tutto sommato, consiglio a tutti di scegliere questo hotel per il prezzo davvero basso rispetto agli standards degli hotel americani (very expensive!) e la qualità dei servizi e della camera che si sono dimostrati essere più che buoni.

Excellent location, everything in easy walking distance. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Rooms very spacious, decorated and furnished in style and comfortable, although I did have a little issue with the shower. I wouldn't hesitate going back or to recommending this hotel.

Management did not provide non-smoking room as reserved. Rooms paid for in advance.for 3 nights. This caused considerable inconvenience to many people. Why reserve if you cannot have what you need?

Booked a room here over the weekend and it was such a bad experience . Room was. The refrigerator in both rooms did not work at all. The room was uncomfortable the pillows to firm and Ac unit and lighting were bad. The bath tub in one room was clogged and in the other room the tub was dirty even after bathtub cleaner. It had spots. One of the rooms had an alarm clock while the other did not. "My rewards."
I was disappointed that I was told I could not use my rewards card because I had made my reservations online. Other than that I had great time, and will continue to stay at Best western.

First room had bed bugs, second was clean, but still a concern to deal with for the rest of the stay. Staff was great, but the facility is aging and the location was poor. We would rather drive around town than stay at the hotel. Cheaper, but not a great value.

The location of this hotel was convenient and easy to find. However, I would have preferred a little more privacy. I stayed for 4 nights for Air Force graduation. The room was great and very clean. I checked for bedbugs and there were none! We had 2 rooms and both were great. Hotel is about 10 minutes from base and was perfect.
Quite place to stay...Very clean....Nice staff....and close to every atraction....I will recommended to anyone

Staff very friendly and helpful. average breakfast...there were waffles so my son was happy. the toliet ran all night and there was mold all over the bathroom walls. other than that it was good.

Cleanliness was non existent. We saw the same long black hairs on the bathroom floor (I have shoulder length red hair) since we checked in, the same safety pin on the floor since we checked in, and were given a towel that was any thing but clean (we took pictures). "Terrible housekeeping service!"
When we got in the room it was immaculate but the they don't change sheets!!! there was a blood stain in our blanket the 2nd night I let it pass 3rd night I still let it pass but the 4th night I got irritatated especially that they didnt make our bed till 6pm after 4 times that we complained about it! Terrible!!!!

We visited San Antonio with 4 adults and 3 kids. The room was spacious enough and perfect. The breakfast room was somtimes very crowded. We were satisfied and would book it again.

"Fine hotel, far from city center"
The hotel itself is fine (clean, comfortable, etc) but it's several miles from downtown and if there is traffic the drive can take 30 minutes or more. If you're looking to save money and don't need to be close to downtown, this is a fine choice.

We visit this motel almost always when we have a medical appointment in San Antonio. Convenient to many eating establishments, a mall, Air Base, sports complex etc. Will stay here again.
"Considering the Price..."
Considering the price, I think this hotel is wonderful. It's not an expensive place. You're not going to get the amenities and service of a high quality hotel. HOWEVER, you also won't pay for a high quality hotel. My room was clean and serviceable. The beds were comfortable and my husband, son, and I enjoyed our stay. The room was cleaned every day, […] beds made and towels replaced. The breakfast didn't offer a lot of variety, but there was free cereal, boiled eggs, oatmeal, waffles, apples and oranges, pastries, toast, and bagels. I hate paying for breakfast, so this more than met our needs. Everyone traveling with me was able to find something they could eat in the mornings. The outdoor pool was not heated, by my polar bears (aka my husband and son) dived in despite the fact that it was November. The pool was kept clean, and they quite enjoyed the chance to swim. The fitness room left a LOT to be desired, but then again, for the price of the room I didn't expect a lot. We did get some time in on the treadmill. If you're a fitness nut, make sure you have access to another gym. I like to spend my vacation money on activities, and consider my hotel just a place I sleep at the end of the day. My stay here was pretty nice, Stayed here the night after spending time at Sea World. Not too far from the park. Everything in the room look clean from bed to carpet. The toilet wasn't was strong. You had to hold down the flusher for a good 5 to 10 seconds for it to flush. Bed was comfortable and clean and slept peacefully.

Spent 4 nights at this hotel for my son's BMT Graduation. Right off 410 made getting to and from easy and quick. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the beds made for a good nights sleep. The pool area was nice in a well kept area of palm trees and shrubbery. The workout facility was a plus. "Sea world & McDonalds close"
Since we were on vacation with gradkids, going to Sea World it was a great place to stay plenty of restraunts close as well as the Mall on the rainy day. our 2nd stay and will stay again.

We were pleasantly surprized by the cleanliness, price of the rooms, very nice pool, and overall experience at this hotel. I think the only complaint we would have would be that the TV remote didn't work, and batteries didn't fix it. For the price of rooms for this Motel I would say about the best value in this area.

We made an excellent choice staying at this hotel. They had the nicest staff and really enjoyed making our stay memorable. The bed was so comfy (I didn't want to go back to mine) and the room was very clean. This hotel was also in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Riverwalk.
