I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel elevator or hallways when I arrived at the hotel. It looked like the elevator had not been swept or hallways had not been vacuumed in days. That caused me to inspect my room with intensity. I am already paranoid because i once worked in a hotel and know what the standards of clean are so for the […] first thing to see is a dirty elevator and hallway turned me off to extended stay. It was a nice clean room, however it was much smaller than it appeared. It was hard manuevering around the bathroom door and very tiny kitchen area. Pretty well outdated and there were absolutely no frills. For example, I would think they would at least leave some dish soap under the sink. Room was dirty, furniture was dirty. The carpet just outside our door looked like someone was shot there. Didnt provide blowdryer or enough shampoo. The bathroom floor was extremely slippery. THIS PLACE IS A DUMP! THEY LOBBY LOOKS ALL NICE RIGHT WHEN YOU COME IN BUT ONCE YOU GET OFF THE ELIVATOR ITS LIKE YOU WALKED INTO A DIFF HOTEL. THE HALLWAY CARPET HAD SPOTS ALL OVER AND IT WAS SO SICK I HAD TO CARRY MY STUFF B/C I DIDNT WANT MY BAGS TO TOUCH THAT SICK CARPET. ROOMS ARE OUTDATED AND ARE NOT LIKE WHAT THEY SHOW IN THE PICS. The room was nice and clean with plenty of room. Only 2 pillows were provided and I would have liked a third. The sink was in the bathroom but I prefer it outside so that both of us could get dressed in the morning.

Checked in and was overwhelmed by the smell of cigarette smoke when we entered our room as it was supposed to be non smoking. This was the most affordable option for coming into town for a seminar that my non-profit agency was paying for and it was close to the hotel where the seminar was being held, so that's why I picked it. My […] room was clean, but the remote to the TV was broken, and when I went to the desk to get a replacement, they couldn't find one, so they gave me new batteries and it still didn't work. Also, there was no shower curtain on the bathtub/shower, and the lampshades were really dirty and stained. Fridge and appliances were clean, though. Besides being close to where I needed to go, nothing desirable about the location. Only within walking distance of a Steak and Shake and a Burger King that's attached to a gas station. We are non-smokers. The hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. This is very undesirable for us and we would prefer a 100% no-smoking hotel. The hotel appeared to be in poor repair, however, we did hear from the desk clerk that you were remodeling the hotel in the near future. This is desperately needed.

I have stayed at this hotel more than once. The front desk personnel were helpful and friendly. I liked having the kitchenetee available to use. Wi-fi is available for a modest one-time fee.

This hotel is not the Taj, obvously. But it exceeded our expectations. For an aged hotel, we found it to be very clean, comfortable, and safe. We faced the back, and it was extremely quiet. Stayed here for a parent weekend. The children had no problems with the comfort of the beds but the adults definitely felt the mattresses were uncomfortable if you have a back problem. The hallways smelled something awful like something someone tried to cook. The room looked old, dingy, smelly and stained carpet. I would never go back. The extra 10-20 dollars I saved was NOT worth the sleep I lost. I felt as if the bed may have bed bugs. My skin was crawling.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions. The staff is always helpful and courteous. I noticed this visit that the stained carpet outside elevator on 2nd floor had been cleaned since my last visit. No complaints.

Although the hotel did smell a bit funny in the room and on the second floor, it was clean and decently maintained. No frills, you get what you pay for. The one thing that I didn't like was the "no wake-up calls" policy since they put alarms in the rooms. The alarms were rather sketchy, as in old and not sure if they would function.

I've stayed at several other Extended Stay hotels in the past, and never had a bad experience. Their hotels were always clean and well-maintained. This was not the case here. Carpet was stained, the room did not smell good, and the tv was only a 19' crt, and was not high enough to watch comfortably from a reclined position on the bed.

The staff was friendly and wasted no time getting us checked in. The lobby and halls were very clean and neat. Our room, a king suite was clean and neat. The kitchen area was exceptionally clean and given our room was smoking- absolutely no smoke smell at all. Very impressed for such low cost. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Nothing fancy, but a good location and an adequate roof over your head. A plus having the larger refrigerator and kitchen facilities. Looks like the cleaning staff doesn't have the time to do much more than a quick walk-through. The hotel was in need of major updates. The carpet, in the hallways, was worn out and dirty. Our room was very "bare bones". We felt lucky to at least have some soap in there, as there wasn't anything else. Our room was supposed to be Non-smoking, but everything in it smelled of smoke.

I had never stayed at an extended stay before and was happily surpirsed that there was a fridge, stove, microwave, sink and cutlery for your stay. If I would have known that I would have brought food. Besides that, the hotel wasn't new by any means, but for a one night stay by myself it was perfect. It was quiet!

For the cost, this hotel is a fine choice. We needed something close to a wedding reception. The room was clean. The bed was not comfortable, but this was somewhat expected.

I had never stayed at an Extended Stay before. I was traveling alone for a job interview and needed a hotel that was affordable and safe! I found that in the Extended Stay in Bloomington. My room had everything available to me: microwave, refridgerator, stove, even dishes!! The room was in good condition. The staff was cordial and check in was relatively quick. The room had a cooking odor that did not leave during our 2 day stay. The room window looked as if it hadn't been washed for a while. Those two items were really the only issues that needed improvement. Overall, a very nice place to stay.
