"Not so good"
Non smoking room smelled of smoke and could not change rooms. Dog left in a room keep barking late at night 11- midnight and the staff would not do anything unitl I told them I was calling the police to investigate. Party in the room next to one I rented and the hotel staff would not or could not get them to be quiet well after midnight. I had to personally […] intervene with the guest to get the party stopped. "Home suite in Erie"
The hotel room was immaculate my only complaint is the heater or compressor by the bed. We had a King size bed Suite but the bed was located right beside the compressor that roared every time the heat kicked in. It was quite loud. "Very loud"
We were kept up all night by the loud heater in the room, which we had no control to turn on or off. At least it drowned out some of the noise from the highway directly outside our window. I chose his hotel because I stayed in one before in Toronto and it was luxury. I would expect anything that is connected with Hilton to be nothing but second to none. The bed was very uncomfortable it felt like springs, I could have gotten that at motel 6 or redroof inn. The curtains had ketchup and food all over them which can be easily seen once you […] open the door to the room. The only thing that is hot for the breakfast is the water for the coffee or tea. oops they did have a few eggs, no meat no waffles or potatoes or anything. We stay here about a twice a year on our trips to Erie and have had no problems until this last stay there. We were told that they would get back to us concerning a rollaway (which they never did) and 3 "cleaning ladies" came in our room when the Privacy sign was on our door and we were napping. nice hotel, all in all. we reserved a "smoking" room, but did not get one, as they were unavailable. as a result, we were upgraded, no charge, to a studio suite. very very nice. fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, the works. nice vaulted ceilings, separate "living" room was also very nice. they tried to accommodate the "smoking" issue by placing us […] near an exit, so going outside was not such a hassle. i wish we had had a longer stay planned, so we could have used the ammenities. the free lobby breakfasts were actually really good. we enjoyed our stay very much. we would stay again, without question. "Homewood Suite-Erie PA - excellant choice"
This is my 3rd stay at Homewood Suites In Erie, PA. Each stay including this one proved to be a wonderful experience. The entire staff is very professional, accomodating, polite, and very friendly. Our suite was very clean as was the rest of the property and had two new large LG flat screen TV's. The breakfast was delicious and the adjoining fireplace/TV […] area gives it a homey feel. "Great hotel, lazy housekeeping staff"
We had a great stay at a great hotel. The only issue we had was a very poor job of cleaning was done by the housekeeping staff. The supplies were not replenished and very little "cleaning" was actually done. The bed was made and the towels replaced but that was about it. Sad for a nice hotel with great staff otherwise.

"Great Room for the Money"
We were pleasantly surprised! We reserved a double suite. It was even nicer than the reservationist described! The kitchenette was really nice; the living room was small but well appointed with TV, furniture and fireplace! The best part was that both bedrooms were private w/their own TV, private bath and were clean and fairly roomy. The bedrooms were […] separated by the living area which was perfect. Oh...and the hot breakfast was very nice and complimentary. The indoor pool was conveniently located in the middle of the 1st floor. My husband and I are not "exercise" fanatics anymore, but the work-out room is also in the same area. Definitely will return! As a matter of fact, we will be back for Labor Day w/e w/our daughter, son in law and grandbaby...we'll have our own bedrooms! Now all we can hope for is a sunny w/e at the beach! Continua a leggere
