La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

Friendly staff, helpful and courteous. Wonderfully intriguing displays. Only drawback was a rather too soft mattress.
"Great Escape"
It was a very qiuet stay and free of noise and the hotel/campus is beautiful. It's serene and picturesque away from the hustle and bustle of work and businesses. It's like a retreat area. Can serve as a productive escape.

"Great location, needs maintenance"
Beautiful grounds, above the usual hotel standard and very appropriate for an IBM executive conference center. Inside the hotel is another story ... our room was clean enough but had peeling paint and worn furniture. We got stuck in a wonky elevator for several minutes while the alarm was ignored, eventually we were rescued by a porter from the kitchen […] trying to use the elevator himself. We were charged $5 for a bottle of water that the previous tenant had partly used, despite my delivering the used bottle to the front desk shortly after our arrival. The area was nice, it was quiet. The rooms were a little run down for my taste. Free WiFi but no HD tv. The bed was horrible, if you are by yourself you may be ok but if you are with someone else its like being on a trampoline. There is nothing to eat that is super close. The parking lot is a long walk to the entrance, not fun in the cold or rain.

"Convenient and comfortable"
I had 2 meetings in 2 days - one in New Jersey and one in Connecticut. This hotel was perfectly set in between both places. I decided to go into NYC and it was about a half hour from the hotel into downtown Manhattan. The hotel itself was great - the staff was super friendly, courteous and the food was fantastic! My room overlooked a canal and was […] extremely quiet. I had a great night's sleep. Please note that if you eat at the restaurant or pub and charge it to your room there is no place to add a tip for the staff - you will want to keep some cash on you for that purpose. "Basic"
Very small and basic rooms. The facility itself is nice but a bit dated. It is actually an IBM conference center, the lodging portion of which is being utilized as a hotel open to the public. The location is a bit out of the way unless you need to be out in that area for some reason.

"GOOD BUT FAR FROM YONKERS"
I WAS BOOKING YONKERS CLOSE HOTEL, than i get this one i like everything else but shows on site 7 miles from YONKERS and the truth is about 20 MILES, so next time we just need to be sure that.... thanks.
"Dolce Palisades - an excellent choice"
A beautifully situated hotel, with lovely grounds surrounding the buildings. Primary purpose is as a conference center and training center for IBM employees. Our room was extremely comfortable and quiet. Our three grandchildren live three miles away: we will certainly be staying here in the future!
"Hotel Dolce in Palisades is a cavernous place"
Set in beautiful surroundings in a park (watch out for deer if you drive in after dark) but has the feel of a training establishment created by IBM, which it clearly was. Nevertheless very good value with decent rooms as long as you don't mind the long walks within the hotel and much cheaper than Tarrytown equivalents.

"Dolce in Palisades NY"
A bit out of the way (from Tarrytown), but the quiet and lovely country setting is worth the short ride. Breakfast buffet was very very good. The hotel is modern with a corporate feel, but it was quite comfortable, clean, and pleasant. We would return.
The facility is gorgeous ....I just feel the rooms are a little too cramped.. They could be a little bigger .. the picture online makes the rooms look big like they are suites
parking lot too far. Very inconvenient. Even after paying full price they refused to include breakfast. The did it after long insistance with the manager. Not right. After paying full price, breakfast should be included.

We were concerned by prior reviews suggesting some disrepair, but we stayed in new, clean rooms in a beautiful setting overlooking trees and a stream. the only complaint we had was that the hotel was not as attentive to our needs--perhaps because of several activities also going on during the weekend we stayed there.

"The irony of being called the IBM Dolce Palisades"
While the hotel was very nice the usability of their included internet was very poor. Their wireless internet was very slow and the supplied ethernet port was hidden. Next, the over bearing network firewall filters lots of web pages and blocked my VPN service making a connection to my office impossible. I am from Mass, I had to go to a show in White Plains... took a chance with this booking & I was very pleasantly surprised. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone that might be in that area!

I did not know at the time of my booking but this hotel is located on the IBM campus and is their own Conference and Convention Center. The rooms were very comfortable and nice. Full size swimming pool and gym with racquetball and basketball courts!!

For the price, this is an excellent stay. The room smelled a little musty, though, and the TV was tiny with a defective remote. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Positives: 1. Clean hotel, nice grounds - a park with water, swans (I saw one), pretty fish, etc. 2. Nice flat-screen TV. 3. Decent Internet access. 4. Excellent plumbing. Massaging shower. Deep bath - the way they used to make them in the times long past. 4. Convenient location, nice neighborhood. 5. Quiet, no noise from cars or neighbors. Negatives: 1. […] This used to be an IBM education/briefing center. As a consequence, the rooms are on a smaller side, barely fitting a single queen bed. 2. Parking is rather far (although free valet parking is available). 3. The receptionist did not mention a complimentary breakfast (I believe, there is none). 4. If you exit through a door other than main lobby - you can't easily get back. Having the key does not help. The choice is that of circling the building until you get to the lobby, waiting for a good samaritan passer-by to let you back in, or using intercome to connect with security, which is going to take its time asking you questions to verify that you are who you claim to be. 5. No bath robes (mentioned in the hotel profile) - only saw a hanger saying that this robe is for the guests' pleasure. Experience: 1. Out of 3-5 hotel/parking personnel near the hotel entrance not one volunteered to help unload our luggage or bring a roller. I got help only when I attempted to maneuver a heavily loaded cart through a crowd of people in tuxedoes (a wedding celebration). 2. Since we were travelling as a familiy, we expected a roll-in bed (the reservation indicated that there were three of us), but the hotel did not prepare one, and the receptioninst cheerfully informed me that they have none left, giving us a choice of trying to fit into a single queen bed (not very comfortable) or rent a second room (double the price, of course) - or, of course, go to a different hotel (none in the immediate vicinity, to the best of my knowledge). With a little attention to detail this could have been a spectacular experience. The hotel is part of a conference center in a beautiful part of the NY/NJ border. It is a long walk from desk to room if you are in one of the back rooms but it is at least broken up by models of Leonardo DaVinci inventions. The room was not cleaned properly with a previous […] guests bobby pins left on the floor. No one made up our bed the second night of a two night stay. Room service menu was limited but food was good and very reasonably priced but you should go across the street and up the road to the Filling Station for bacon and egg sandwiches.Furniture was old and worn kinda like IKEA does a dorm room but the bed was comfortable. It was about what you would expect for the money...bring your dustbuster. It all didn't matter though because I spent two beautiful nights there with the love of my life. Continua a leggere

Want four choices on the room service menu that include Omelet, Fish Fingers, and Burger? How about internet service that blocks sites they don't want you to see? The overall impression of the hotel is decent, and the rooms are clean, but spare as heck AND NO IN ROOM MOVIES OF ANY KIND. Just TV. Also, the staff really did not seem to be too familiar […] with the place, or very dedicated to service. I don't know. I would have expected more from a place that looks like this and had a relatively good star rating. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU MUST HAVE A SHORT STAY SOMEWHERE AND ALL NEARBY IS FULL. My husband and I liked the bed and the room was confortable. But the building is HUGE and it takes a long way to get to anything from the room. And we can't get to talk to room service easily when we needed (I was on waiting for awhile on the phone) which frustrated us a bit. New and stylish interior, however the materials they used are really cheap. […] For example our bathroom door nob was broken and the toilet didn't flush completely! "Great Expectations"
The hotel was very clean and organized. The satff was very friendly and the female at the front desk even remembered that I called the day before. The room whic was on the first floor, had a great view of the lake. The linens were cleand and the bed felt comfortable like the beds at Westin. One issue was the smell of the room, it smelled like a typical […] hotel, but I knew to bring scented candles with me. My friend loved the soap although the water was kind of drying on the skin. One other issue was the lighting in the larger parking area, it was almost non-existent, which would have worried me had I gone alone. But I was with a guy so I felt safe. Good hotel. It was clean, staff were friendly and there's a big mall not too far away. The only downside was the location and also at night the lighting is not so great and it's so isolated and a good drive up to the front of hotel with no lighting. My boyfriend and I had to go up to White Plains for unexpected business, and found this gem! We had hoped that it would be "ok," but were stunned by just about everything in this beautiful hotel.
