Abbiamo alloggiato in questo hotel in due per quattro notti.La posizione dell'hotel è l'unico aspetto positivo!!! Il personale è molto impreparato e scortese. La connessione internet è lentissima. Le immagini dell'hotel proposte non corrispondono alla realtà. Nella nostra camera avevamo solo il letto e una lampada a terra. Non avevamo comodini, scrivania, […] lampadari, asciugacapelli e set di cortesia firmato come descritto. L'aria condizionata era centralizzata ed è stata spenta gli ultimi due giorni. Il bagno era appena decente anche se ogni giorno mancavano o gli asciugamani o il tappeto scendi doccia. Per finire la colazione inclusa è una autentica fregatura. Viene servita in un bar molto sporco attiguo alla reception e consiste in caffè all'americana (uno dei più cattivi che ho mai provato), latte freddo e corn flakes. Questo non e' un hotel..dovrebbe essere forse classificato come Motel . I due unici aspetti positivi erano la posizione e la disonibilita' dello staff per il resto dovrebbe essere chiuso al pubblico. Non capisco come possa apparire nel sito di Hotels.com. Il bagno: piccolissimo con vasca e lavandino vecchi e con vernice che si staccava. Camera: un grande […] stanzone con un letto grande e con un materasso che faceva un rumore pazzesco solo perché tra il letto e il materasso avevano messo uno strato di plastica. La colazione inclusa: siamo scappati .... c 'era solo un bottiglione di caffè americano uno di succo di arancia che di arancia aveva solo il colore e dei corn flakes.. Non è un hotel di lusso, ma se ci accontenta ci si può soggiornare comodamente per una settimana. Ottima la posizione, le camere sono molto pulite e il personale è sempre molto gentile. Mi sono trovato molto bene.

Hotel decisamente accessibile economicamente, raggiungibile comodamente dal Bus proveniente dall'aereoporto. Posizione perfetta, zona centrale di Miami Beach.

Ottima la posizione. Hotel sulla Collins Avenue a pochi passi da Ocean Drive, Espanola Way e Lincoln Road. Hotel consigliato per il prezzo molto conveniente, ma solo per brevi soggiorni. La camera era molto spaziosa con 2 letti matrimoniali, ma il bagno lasciava un pò a desiderare perchè di dimensioni ridotte e non molto pulito. Presente in camera la […] Tv, un forno microonde e un frigorifero. Arredamento essenziale, come pavimento c'era un massetto di cemento. La colazione è compresa nel prezzo ed è accettabile per quantità e qualità. L'addetta al servizio colazione era molto gentile e disponibile. HOTELO IN POSIZIONE CENTRALE,COMODO ALLA SPIAGGIA E ALLE ATTRAZIONI TURISTICHE DI MIAMI BEACH. OTTIMA LA PULIZIA. LA COLAZIONE SAREBBE DA MIGLIORARE.

Lo sconsiglio....albergo molto pulito ma troppo spartano, il bagno molto piccolo con il lavandino e la vasca scrostati. Il pavimento è una gettata di cemento lucidata.

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti ed avremmo voluto rimanere più a lungo in quanto quest'albergo è posizionato molto bene rispetto alla spiaggia di Miami South Beach (a due passi senza avere il rumore dei locali di ocean drive), a Lincoln Rd (la strada pedonale con negozi che non dovete perdere) ed in quanto offre stanze in stile art deco, pulite e molto […] tranquile (danno tutte su un patio con fontana, jacuzzi e terrazza riparata con sdraio). Connezione WIFI; 4-5 posti auto dell'albergo (a pagamento - 25 dollari/giorno a Giugno) ma parcheggio publico sicuro a 50 metri a soli 16 dollari al giorno. Collazione corretta. Continua a leggere

Great location. Ok hotel.

This was the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. None of the listed amenities were provided-no alarm clock, no desk, no dvd or cd player, no concierge, and no climate control (see more on that below). The lock on the door was falling off, the mirror in the bathroom was about to fall down, and the paint job in the room was terrible. The front desk will […] also give you anyone's room key, no questions asked. In fact, when I first came to check in, the front desk clerk thought I was a current guest, and just handed me someone else's key before I even said hello. There was an A/C vent directed right at the bed pumped out air that was far too cold. The front desk was unwilling or unable to turn down the cold, and I was literally shivering in bed despite being fully clothed and having five blankets on top of me. I tried to check out early after the front desk refused to turn down the AC, only to be told that I couldn't check out until the manager came in. After no sleep and getting sick due to the horrible AC system, I was finally able to escape the living h*** of the Aqua that morning. Continua a leggere

Cute hotel. Very spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent location. Complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms could do a with a little maintenance.

hotel = no carpet plain cement floor was afraid to let my 2 year old walk around on the floor let alone take a bath or shower . no dresser just a old jym locker, by all the worst hotel we ever stood in it was way over priced . not worthed it at all

The photos on-line do not represent the room accurately.... walls are paper thin so you hear every word your neighbor utters.

I stayed one-night at this hotel. I love the location because restraunts, bars, the beach, and clubs are walking distance. The hotel room was bare, but the sheets were very clean and comfortable. This hotel is miserable both in it's condition and the staff. We left and went to the Lowes across the street. I would not go anywhere near this place. The front desk just tells you they are remodeling and nothing works. They just sprayed a white enamel over all the fixtures int he bathtub and sink, tile... It is plain nasty. Beware!

The rooms pictured online to not portray the reality of plastic bags covering ceiling lights, the hot tub that runs cold, the plastic furniture, the lack of a mini-bar and the dirty rooms....I remain appalled and unhappy.

Hotel was well priced for the location. Rooms just renovated, clean with modern but minimal furniture. Problems with loud guests at 5 am.

I've been there for two nights, but I made the reservation and payed for three but I couldn't stay there for more than two. The wall are so thin you can hear from the other room and plus from the garden inside. I've found in my shower a slug without the shell... Disgusting.... No heat only cool air condition...

If you do not care about the comfort of the room, you can stay there - just to sleep over. A building is very old, and requires a major renovation. The staff is friendly and ready to help. This hotel is nothing fantastic, but it does the job of getting you close to the beach (3 minutes) or the Loews Hotel for conventions (1 minute). It doesnt have a pool, but it has a large hot tub that does not have hot water as of November 2011. There was a $50 deposit fee on check in, but they took it off when I left. The rooms are nothing special. […] Fairly clean, but once there was water in the shower my feet felt a little filmy. Poor lighting, basic flat panel tv, no desk. There were claims of wireless internet, but my computer was never able to connect to the network. I saw a lot of people in the lounge or open areas on their computers though. Free orange juice and croissant breakfasts. Overall, the location is the selling point. Great location but otherwise not at all what is advertised. 1. Room was very basic, bathroom was old and not in good condition. 2. Worst towels that I have ever had in a hotel room. 3. "Free breakfast" was juice, bread, and stale rolls. 4. You do not control your air conditioning. Basically a motel in a good location...

Aqua Hotel is a cool looking place with lots of potential that I believe suffers from bad management. It is aesthetically cool in a 50's modern way and it makes a great setting for the annual Aqua Art Fair but I cannot at this time recommend it as a stay. The walls are super thin with no insulation (nor acoustic anything) and a gap under the door between […] rooms, so I could hear my partying neighbors all night long. You can't really open your window for natural light unless you're a bit of an exhibitionist since they all face the courtyard open to the public. My room's safe was not working when I got there, nor was the light in the space where I tried to set up my laptop to do some work. Why those things are not checked before hand, beats me. The next day the safe was fixed and the lightbulb was replaced but it burned out again so I imagine it was the fixture. There was no other "desk-type" space. The toilet rcoked back and forth when you sat and the toilet seat WAS NOT ATTACHED to the toilet. The morning I was to leave I had to shower with cold water because THEY DON'T TURN ON THE HOT WATER UNTIL 7 AM. Was I in the US or a third world country? I was informed of this by a surly guy at the reception desk who resembled a prison security guard but with less charm. He seemed annoyed to have to take my key back and call a cab. The one positive thing I can say about my stay there is about a young woman named Rita who worked the reception desk. She is way overqualified for that place and if you own a classy hotel in MB, I suggest you rush over there and try to hire her for yours. Continua a leggere

Having been to Miami Beach before, the very first hotel i stayed in gave me a complementary set of earplugs, since then, i have always taken my own. Location is great, staff was very friendly and helpful, but it's SOBE and I don't party all night anymore. lol. but i don't hold it against the one's that do either. Price was very reasoanable.

This has nothing to do with the description. Look for other options.

Great location! Across the street access to public beach, walking distant to Lincoln Dr, Washington Ave, Ocean Dr. Really good breakfast (rolls and croissants are baked in the hotel's kitchen). BUT check your reservation before you go there, we booked double but hotel had reservation for room with one bed. Disgusting and foul. Do not believe the pictures and I felt like I was living inside a rural highway rest area with the condition of the place. The a/c is not even regulated within your room- none of the doors are fitting with their jams, there were bugs in the gross disgusting bathroom; towels were stained; filth in corners all over- rude staff- over […] an hour to get out of hotel w/ the 'valet' service- they said to tell them 20 mins before? & they would call us? Hotel room is too old. Beds and room is not a relaxing room at all. The mattress still have their plastics on that make so much noise everytime you move and that wakes me up. Room is too warm. No AC control inside the room. I did call the front desk for a fan at least and said that they don't provide fan...they don't have it and said that the room temperature […] is controlled by them and set to its limit...what is that all about? I went to party in Miami for 3 days before I left on a cruise. We were 3 girls total and wanted something affordable but nice. My main concern was the location. I wanted something near the beach as well as the night life. This place was perfect for us. The bathroom is a bit sketchy but nothing to really freak out about. I didn't like that there's no carpet you might wanna pack slippers! Anyway this hotel is excellent if you're going to South Beach to party and hit the beach. Don't expect the VIP treatment here. The hotel was disgusting. It was very dirty, the staff was rude and not very helpful, the bathroom shower required you to wear flip flops out of fear of catching fungus...and I am covered in bug bites.

The hotel's location is ideal. However, it appears to be under renovation; a poor one at that. The bathroom was poorly renovated and the electricity was out in the room. The quality of this hotel was very disappointing for the price. I have stayed at hotels priced the same that were MUCH nicer. On top of a room with no clock, no temperature control, a bathroom wih an old peeling, rusty sink, tub and toilet, the air conditioning went out at the hotel both nights I was there. For the budget and location, this is a good hotel. The rooms are extremely basic and the breakfast minimal. The service is qiestionable too but i guess that's the drawback of teh low price. They need to get high chairs too.

the location and hotel staff were fine, but the actual property is completely awful. it's rundown. rooms have concrete floors. bathrooms are not renovated. corners of the room were dusty. the shower curtain was moldy...need i go on?

This is the second time we have stayed here and the 1st time we have stayed under the new management. This a great hotel for couples with a budget. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is good and the hotel staff is very nice. It is worth the low price. Also some of the rooms are bigger than others with a little kitchen area, but they are NOT ALL […] like that so make sure to request that before checking in. Although it is in a great location in south beach - close to the water and all the shops and restaurants - they did a good job of making it look very modern but are missing key points - inside the room wasn't very clean, didn't have ANY towels in the room. Have never taken the time to leave a review for anything...ever. This place has changed that. I understand that the economic situation has people cutting back on spending, but this dump has not had an upgrade since the 60's. The Hotel was very basic. Beds were decenly comfortable but the bathroms were dated and rust stained. There was no hot water in our room and when we told the woman at the front desk, she flat out told us that we were turning the tap wrong and al the other rooms had hot water so ofcourse ours did too! When we were checking out, there was 2 other rooms leaving before even unpacking their bags because their rooms were unsatisfactory. This hotel is no frills and not for the biz traveler. I stopped staying their after to days and booked across the way and couldn't get any refund. The room had two bed lights one of them didn't work so they replaced it with a halogen like lamp. The walls and the rooms looked and smelled like a crime scene investigation. The wall in the bedroom was white […] with dark filthy patches and I have pix. The walks r paper thin and I couldn't sleep bc club music was pouncing from my neighbors until 4 in the morn and then someone woke up cranking their music at 6ish. The bathroom is vile. The toiletries were left over from the person that stayed before me. The medicine cabinet wouldn't shut and was ousted and old like the toilet and sink. I had to put my stuff in the little passageway to the can and that room smelled like mildew and had a safe that didn't close. There was no where to hang up or put clothes except a top shelf where there was extra bedding. I regret putting stuff their bc now they smell putrid and I couldn't wear them. The hot water in the shower worked but the curtain was filthy and kept being blown into me and it was a nasty experience. After the shower the room was flooded from the bathroom to the middle room which accounts or the mildew their. The cleaning lady gave me attitude when I asked her if she could come back in 15 minutes and at that point I realized I had to leave. I lost to nights of $$$$ rather than stay at this crap shack. Aqua Hotel is in a great location, one block from the beach, within walking distance of the Lincoln Road Mall and many clubs. Getting to further destinations is easy also, as you can always flag a cab just outside the front door. The staff was nice and helpful. The room we were in was not very updated and the bathroom was a bit gross. Also, the hot […] water was hit or miss. Other rooms seemed much more updated, but had the same hot water problem. The only other issue was noise. There was noise in the courtyard from people coming and going at all hours, and from those hanging out in the various seating areas. It can start as early as 7 or 8 a.m. and go on as late as 2 or 3 a.m. If you are looking to have a fun time in South Beach, and you'll be out of your room quite a bit, and you just need a cheap, clean place to rest your head, then this is the place. Not a good choice. The service is awful and the staff had a care less attitude. The hotel is dated and the rooms are basic. Hot water was a luxury. Not a pleasant stay at all. There are a lot of choices other than this badly maintained hotel with a staff that has no desire to assist you in any way.

bar/lounge was never open. There was no pool, just a spa like bed of water. The room was clean, but very old and more like an apartment - no toiletries and only one key. Was a decent location for being close enough to walk to amost everything south beach.

The receptionist was put off by having to cut short her personal cell phone call with her friend in order to check us in. The hotel is old and in need of a lot of work. The floors are bare concrete and the ceiling paint was peeling. Forget about adequate hot water to shower. Not going to happen. The service is horrible. The people who man the front […] desk could care less about you and make no bones about it. Ran out of toilet paper (it was not full and there was no extra roll) and nope, there was no way anyone was going to try to find us anything. We were told we had to wait to housekeeping the next day. The hotel itself is located in a very nice location. It is not on the beach, about two blocks away but it in on a main street with a lot of shopping, restaurants, and bars. The hotel is not well maintained and seems somewhat out of place compared to its surroundings. We are not fussy people, this was is just a horrible hotel.
