"good value for your money"
mattress too soft-only complaint
This was a great great deal for us. It's located smack dab in the shopping area! The only drawback is the free breakfast is over at 9am during the week ( 10 on weekend) so both mornings we missed it as we slept in. Uuumm is that why they end it so early...so they don't have to do it for as many?......
"Frustrating"
On the internet this hotel was listed as pet friendly. I called to make the resv by phone instead, and was told no pets. When we got there, a couple was walking in with their dog. I told the resv that I was upset as I had to pay a pet sitter and had wanted to bring our pet. They did apologize, but it was too late. AlsoI wish they would have told us […] the jacuzzi was broken. "The Fairfield in Erie was a great location"
The hotel was located next to the Millcreek mall and the surrounding shopping areas. It was only a short drive to where you wanted to go and was within driving distance to Grove City as well. The staff was courteous and friendly and the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast area was well maintained and offered many choices. The hotel offered a […] main computer with internet to its guests and free wifi in the room. If we would have realized that we would have brought a laptop. The only downfall was that the hot tub was drained and not working. When I returned I recommended this hotel and my sister stayed at Fairfield as well the next weekend. Continua a leggere
"Good stay"
I stayed here when I visited my family in Erie and wanted to go to Splash Lagoon. Splash Lagon's connecting hotels were way overpriced. This hotel was clean, had a friendly staff, an always had hot coffee. I slept in too late all week to check out breakfast. "Perfect fo a shopping trip"
We came down from Ontario to go shopping at the mall, which was right next door. Perfect location to all the stores. The room was comfortable and the hotel offered everything we wanted.

"Not Good for older Folks"
1. No Handicap enterance into the hotel. Door to heavy for 72 year old lady, trying to hold on to the door and her luggage. 2. Room was to have two queen beds, They did not clean all of the rooms, therefore given a king bed for 2 people, if it was my husband great, not for my grandmother, bed to soft, hurt her right and could hardly move in the morning. […] Told me that they would make up pull out never did, to late call and ask them to do. My grandmother was very upset. 3. Hockey team of kids, down for breakfast in the morning from 6:30-8am ran sack the hold breakfast area. No breakfast for anyone after 8am. We paid for that and never received. "Erie PA"
Good location close to Millcreek Mall, friendly staff and I loved the coffee, tea, water available in the lobby at all hours. Nice rooms and nice breakfast. Only downside a bit pricey for Erie shopping.
The hotel was not maintained properly and staff was mildly friendly. The hot breakfast was a disaster.....small space and food was not good. No fridge in the room and stumping feet from floor above. Our stay was not comfortable and certainly not what you would expect from a Marriot Hotel. We will not be coming back.

The hotel was your average mid-level hotel. Nothing really note worthy to comment on. The hotel was clean, offered breakfast (only until 10am on the weekend), and a small indoor pool. The location was very convienant; right beside Millcreek mall and just off the main streeet (Peach St). Close to resturants, and shopping. Pool area was not maintained well, hot tub was dirty and the floor surrounding the pool and hot tub was not cleaned. Otherwise the stay was nice.
"Does Not Compete Well in Its 2.5 Star Class"
I was very disappointed in this hotel. I expected more from a Marriott at the 2.5 star level. The housekeeping was the worst I've ever experienced, the first day they did not clean my room but did take the tip I left. They did not put soap/shampoo/ out and I had to get it from the front desk (both days). The second day they cleaned, but threw away my […] earplugs, a needed scratch paper, and my meds were suspiciously askew. The front desk staff were nice, but complained about the housekeeping staff. "Hotel in Erie - Close to shopping"
We had a great stay at the hotel. Beds were comfortable, pool and hot tub were great after a long day of shopping. Coffee, hot water, etc were available in the lobby 24 hours a day. Staff were friendly and helpful.
"Farfield Inn near the Millcreek Mall"
We thought the room was appropriate for our needs, as we were there on a weekend shopping trip....really close to the mall. Beds were wonderfully comfortable and soft and there was no shortage of pillows

Staff was very pleasant and hotel clean and comfortable. Not the ritz but definitely would stay there again. Walking distance to the Malls and restaurants make it perfect.
We loved the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. We also liked that the pool and hot tub were open till midnight. Nice breakfast variety. We would stay there again.
"Great Stay"
The hotel's location was just great for getting to and from Presque Isle and Waldemeer. A great variety of resturants were very close by as well as the Shopping Mall right across the parking lot. Nothing real fancy, but you will enjoy your stay here.

"close to everything"
This was a nice place to stay, It was close to both the zoo and waldameer park. The area was nice because it had enough choices for restuarant and it was right off of a major interstate. Definitely a great inbetween hotel. They only issue is if you are really into a great free breakfast this really is not the place.

"Erie, PA - hotel while in transit"
A great place to stop when passing from PA to NY - quiet, very comfortable and clean. Nice breakfast area. Only dissapointment: didn't have a bathing suit for the pool and hot tub!
