Very comfortable and employees really make you feel welcome. Great free breakfast and cocktail hour. Occasional train noise.

Very good stay from the beginning!!! The front desk staff was very nice and helpful; the room was very comfortable; the room was clean and the bed was so comfortable I got the best night's sleep. Wish I could have afforded to stay another night!

Ok location for price. Everything good

Stayed here a week for business, had two rooms. Older hotel, but still kinda nice. Restaurants within walking distance. We had something taken from each of the rooms we had - phone charge from one and wireless mouse from the other room. If it wasn't for our things being stolen, we would have been back.

THE FACILITY IS CONVENIENT TO FT SAM HOUSTON WITH VERY PLEASANT ACCOMODATIONS AND GREAT/FRIENDLY STAFF. RATES ARE AFFORDABLE, AS WELL. WILL PLAN TO STAY THERE AGAIN.

Overall a pretty good stay. Only drawback was two full size beds. Better off with a queen or king for a couple.

Had a great 2 day stay at the Pear Tree Inn Northeast in San Antonio while attending a conference downtown. I always like to stay in a hotel away from the Downtown Center during the summer because even Convention Rates are high at the downtown locations because of summer tourism. I have stayed many times at the Pear Tree Inn Airport location. This […] was the first time at the Northeast location. I prefer hotels with inside access. This had outside access, yet I never noticed outside noise. Location was great with easy on and off to IH 35. Pear Tree Inns and Drury Inns absolutely have the best Breakfasts!! I would stay here again. Happy Hour. Great Breakfast. Clean Rooms. Friendly people. If you are looking for fancy stay somewhere else. If you want a good value at a convenient location at a reasonable rate then, this is your place.

Good Location with everything accessible, Great breakfast (free) and clean and confi rooms

This is a great place that fit our budget of 5. It was clean and most importantly it included a nice breakfast for the kids. It's easy to locate as it's right off of I-35 and was next door to a few restaurants like Red Lobster and Shoney's. We went during spring break and was pleasantly surprised at the rate. The only negative I had was the noise of […] the traffic (since it's right off of I-35) and next to train tracks which you could hear off and on throughout the night. The room was clean, fresh, and didn't have a perfume smell to mask odors. Bathroom was spotless; no mold or mildew or old stains. It looked newly remodeled. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Parking was right at my door. There is a frequent traveled train rail near-by; it didn't bother me, and I'm a light sleeper. The hot breakfast was well […] prepared and generous every morning. Coffee was delicious; cream available as well as other additives. The attendant was cheerful, good at keeping things tidy, and pleasant each morning. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. As other reviewers said, there is a loud train close by.

The registration clerk was very nice and gave all the information we would need for our stay. The rooms were clean. There was a refrigerator and microwave tucked away in a nice cabinet. The wifi picked up very well and we were on the top floor. The breakfast was as at a more higher priced hotel, there was an attendant at the station that prepared your […] waffles for you and opened the food container to present menu items and helped to serve condiments. Upon arriving the gal at the front desk was very sweet but we were given at outside entry room (not what we were expecting), the room had an old, musty, smoke smell even though it was a non-smoking room. The beds were small and the rooms look MUCH larger in the pictures. We only needed a place to sleep and shower but we would have paid more to have […] a clean room. I would NOT recommend this hotel. The lobby has a comfortable, restaurant-style set up, which accomodates the free breakfast well. The breakfast includes good-quality eggs and sausages, as well as the usual yogurt, muffins, cereal, etc. The room was comfortable, and the temperature was easy to control, although the room was a bit small. The bathroom was also small, but it was clean […] and everything worked well. The toilet has a good flush force, so no worries there. The only minor issue I had was that the pillows were very fluffy/not firm, so you might want to bring your own. This hotel is next door to three restaurants, including breakfast places if you don't want the free breakfast the hotel offers. For the price, this is a good place to stay. It was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. It had all the comforts including the breakfast and the young lady at the breakfast bar was really nice. I know we will use this hotel again.

Good value for money and very conveniently located on Interstate Highway 35.

This is no 5 star hotel but a great budget hotel. It is everything you need and can expect from a budget hotel. Yes the beds aren't TempurPedic and the carpet is worn. But the bed is comfortable and the carpet is clean. In fact the room was fresh and clean and well maintained. We had a microwave and minifridge. And there is full breakfast, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal varaity, fruit, breads and muffins, juice, milk, coffee, soda, and of course fresh made waffles. Also you can use the business center at the sister hotel Drury Inn next door. That really saved me because I had forgotten to print our etickets to schlitterbaun. On thing we had a problem with was GPSing the hotel address, and it may have been out GPS needed updating but the address wouldn't pull up. Very nice stay again. We came to this same hotel about a month ago. We came again because we were extremely pleased with our stay. Nice, clean pool. Great breakfast. Really comfortable beds and pillows. And a great rate. I recommend this hotel. I will stay again.

This was a great hotel at a great price. The staff was exceptional and went beyond expectations with our comfort and needs. The free continental breakfast is better than at most restaurants, hats off to the chef. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The pool was great, the kids loved it. While the clerk was rude at first, she was very friendly after I checked in. The room was very clean and hospitable. No weird smell. I could not however get the wi-fi or the internet cable to work. The location, next to 35 highway, was not desirable-- but then few are in San Antonio.

The hotel was a bit older but the friendly staff and great extras made this a great stay. Let me check in at 8am instead of the 3pm time stated. allowed us to get the free break fast the day we checked in even though we technically werent supposed to. Pool was clean. Rooms were cold when we got to them. Only thing i would say is that there is a train […] near this hotel. I never heard it when i was asleep but my wife did everytime (5 times throughout the night). This can be a noisy hotel as there are a lot of families staying. However, if you want a peaceful stay, ask for a room off the main traffic area. You'll get a good night's sleep in fresh linen and very little traffic past your door. We always stay here when we visit San Antonio, it is convenient to everywhere we go to visit.

We were looking for something close to downtown and family members and this did the job. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Would recommend if you are looking for a place to stay that is close to downtown and has easy convience.

It was 105F outside July 4th but the room room was cool and comfortable. Room furnishings and decor were standard. Good location for a wide selection of nearby restaurants. The hotel is definaly a customer service oriented. I did not encounter many staff members but where I did, they were very good staff. The night clerk was waiting for us and had a room already assigned. The breakfast attendent asked us if we needed anything.

Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb vom Stadtzentrum von San Antonio. Es ist recht ruhig, der Service ist freundlich und gibt sich immer richtig mühe, egal um welche Uhrzeit, oder um was es geht. In direkter Nähe - 2 Gehminuten - liegen zwei gute Restaurants. Wenn man ein Auto hat, hat man eine große Auswahl in 10min Umkreis, inclusive eines HEB, wenn […] man sich selbst versorgen will. Auf dem Highway ist man 2 Minuten. Parkplätze sind frei, ebenso WLAN auf den Zimmern. Der einzige Nachteil an diesem Hotel für mich ist, dass man wirklich auf ein Auto angewiesen ist. segunda vez que llegamos en plan familiar esta bien el hotel solo que la habitacion tenia mal olor como a gas ya antes de las 8 am se oia ruido de contenedors era la basura nos despertaron y estabamos muuuy cansados

El hotel esta muy bien, similar a otros de la misma cadena. Le falta una remodalacion, las alfombras estan un poco sucias y se escucha ruido de afuera, no sellan bien la puertas dejando pasar el ruido.

increible todo los servicios brindados en el hotel muy bien ubicado, caminando encuentras algunas tiendas y restaurantes, volveriamos a hospedarnos
