Suburban Extended Stay Of Myrtle Beach Myrtle Beach

This was a quick planned trip and when looking for efficiencies a lot were booked. I saw the reviews for this hotel and did not want to book, but since I was not looking forward to paying a hefty price I decided to stay here. My husband checked in and got our keys and we proceeded to the room, we were all to tired to notice much of anything that night […] after driving. The first thing I noticed when entering the room was the smell, it needed a good airing out. But, I can say that this was the only problem that I really had with the room. I tried to open the windows but found them screwed shut. I can say that I was expecting a rundown room, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, bathrooms were clean and bathroom linens seemed new. The floor that I was on was very quiet, at times I thought we were the only ones there. I have to say that for the amount paid I was really expecting a roach motel because that is what you get where I am from. We were close to a lot of attractions, malls, places to eat, and regular stores. I was glad that it was not all tourist spots located near us. For the price paid and the fact that we spent a lot of time out of the room, it was worth it. The convenience of having the stove and refridgerator was a plus when we wanted to just make something quick for the kids. Continua a leggere

Pretty good value for the price I paid....AC in the room didnt work very well and the shower head had no water pressure, but the room was pretty clean and bed was comfortable. Someone pulled a fire alarm at 4am and emptied the whole hotel!!! But that isn't their fault!! All in all....a pretty good stay.

My visit the the area was brief, but the check-in- process was smooth, without any hassel. Everything was professional, and a great encounter. I would consider another staty at Suburban again.

very quiet and clean. Close to Broadway and about 5 mins to the beach.

i recently stayed in the Surburben Lodge and was really dissastified with my room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the room was NOT what I was expecting. The kitchen area was cramped with outdated appliances. The walls were thin and we were kept up by the conversations and coughing fits of those in the rooms next to us. The beds were not very comfortable, although the pillows were. Kinda dirty, had to take out our own trash, ask for fresh towels cuz the don't give them to you unless you ask, no continental breakfast or anything

it good for temporary for short term like meeting or dropping off kids at college

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My family & I stayed 2 nights with no complaints and the staff was more than eager to assist us. When I read the other reviews, I wasn't really sure about staying here but i'm glad that I went with my own judgement and it is only 3 miles from the beach. The only thing I would say to anyone that chooses this hotel, […] if you're planning in using the kitchenette, take your own pots and pans because they only have 1 saucepan and 1 frying pan......I WILL BE BOOKING THIS HOTEL AGAIN REAL SOON...... I was surprised by the hotel, I read some of the reviews, and was kind of skeptical about this place, but was actually surprised. It was in a good location, close to the beach, and shopping, the room was ready as soon as I checked in. The only thing wrong was one of my key cards quit working, but was able to fix it right away with no problems. Get what you pay for. Nonsmoking room that smells like smoke, elevator that is so slow, it does appear to work, people hanging out on the lobby eating takeout...not a very comfortable stay. In town for business so managed to stay out of the hotel as much as possible

I planned a romantic night with my fiance. When we arrived at the hotel I thought good choice. It was in the perfect location close to the mall. I went to our bathroom in the room turned on the light it flickered but never came on. We went to the front desk to tell the person at the front desk about it he said he would take care of it. We left the hotel […] for a couple hours came back problem still wasn't solved. I went back downstairs and told the same guy again he said he was coming but never came. We had to take showers and use the bathroom in the dark. After we left the hotel was half way home my fiance realized he left his white gold praying hand earring so we called the hotel the put him on hold for about 30 seconds came back and said no one saw it. I called the manager that Tuesday and she acted as if she didn't care about my experience. I will never stay here again and i'm going to tell everyone I know not to give Suburban Extended Stay yopur business. Continua a leggere

This was my first vacation getaway with my boyfriend. We arrived and checked in to the hotel and when we got on the elevator I thought it was going to break down. When we got inside the room it ranked of smoke and there were about 20 flies and the window. The TV actually breaked while we were there. The remote no longer worked and when you press the […] volume button the TV goes off. It wasnt all that bad but we made the best of it. poor customer service.

We quickly grabbed a deal from the site. We then went back to check out the ratings of the hotel and were scared to show up based on the comments on here. We walked in on Sunday to a friendly and helpful associate at the front desk. We were given a quiet room on the first floor loaded with a kitchen area and fridge. The hotel is a very short drive […] to the beach, just outside of the craziness. Easy shopping and eating right across the street. Everything you would need. We enjoy the beach all day long and returned to spend the rest of each late afternoon in the pool. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone staying in the Myrtle Beach area. If you are looking for a hotel ON the beach, this is not your hotel, but a very short drive straight down 501 takes you right to a lot for parking on the beach. Please don't be concerned over comments about the hotel as the hotel will deal with any small issue you may have, like a smoke detector battery that I read or a toilet that ran all night. This is a clean,comfortable,quiet,well located hotel.The staff is exceptional,especially Tom Saver.The extra mile he will go and do to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.I consider him an asset to the hotel as well as the manager. For my 2 day get-away, it was the perfect vacation spot I was looking for. I found the hotel staff friendly and helpful. The only suggestion that I can make is that the hallways need some attention. Overall, I was satified and returned home rested!

Bad location...halls and room smelled bad....room had roaches in the bathroom

hotel smelled bad. Rooms were very small and the place had roaches in the room......paid in advance for 2 nights but left after one and stayed elsewhere.
