Hawaii Hotel Miami Beach

Un hotel che non dovrebbe nemmeno essere chiamato così. Un esperienza davvero negativa. Solo entrando nell altrio, poiché hall non si può definire, l odore di muffa di pervade. Dopo solo 1 giorno nell hotel le valigie comprensive di vestiti puzzavano di muffa, abbiamo dovuto trovare una lavanderia e lavare ogni singolo capo, intimi compresi. La cordialità […] del personale non è di casa e non è per nulla quella tipica degli americani (ho viaggiato parecchi anni e in diverse città statunitensi). Alle 7 del mattino la sveglia te la fa il signore che porta via i bidoni Dell immondizia trascinandoli per tutto il marciapiede. La cosa più assurda è stata nel momento in cui abbiamo visto due operai entrare in ogni stanza, la nostra compresa, per spruZzare un veleno antimuffa e insetti lungo tutti i bordi delle stanze, non badando agli oggetti tipo le valige messe per terra. Abbiamo prenotato quest'albergo all'ultimo istante senza guardare i commenti dei clienti precedenti e senza guardare di preciso la posizione. Veramente uno schifo!!!! Siamo rimasti nell'albergo perchè ormai era tardi e dovevamo dormire solo una notte. L'albergo è una "dependance" di quello accanto che sembrava leggermente meglio. Ho sostato nell'albergo complessivamente 4 giorni. I primi due giorni mi è stata assegnata una camera insufficiente e indecente ed erano quelli prenotati con Expedia. Successivamente sono ritornato nello stesso albergo e mi è stata consegnata una camera simile come struttura ma tenuta molto meglio. Colazione abbondante ed accettabile anche se con poca […] varietà. Ottima la posizione se si è in auto, altrimenti troppo distante da Miami Beach South, comunque facilmente raggiungibili con i mezzi locali. E' un hotel modesto ma comunque abbastanza pulito e ideale per chi usa la camera solo per dormire. La posizione è ottima per chi vuol fare un pò di mare siccome l'oceano è proprio difronte (posizione molto silenziosa siccome la strada difronte è solo per transito dei residenti) e poi la sera andare in centro che è a 40 minuti di bicicletta (consigliato […] il noleggio), a 2 ore a piedi, 20 minuti di bus, oppure ovviamente con il taxi sempre presenti ovunque. Da sconsigliare in estate siccome l'aria condiziata in teoria c'è ma funziona solo su qualche camera. Consigliato il piano secondo siccome il primo piano come lo chiamano loro in realtà è un piano terreno molto umido! Tariffa ottenuta con Hotels.com effettivamente molto conveniente, circa il 40% in meno della tariffa abituale ottenibile direttamente in albergo. Continua a leggere

completamente fuori dalla aspettative delle foto, l'odore di umido era insopportabile, muri delle stanze scalcinati, la notte è difficile dormire per i rumori dei motori dei condizionatori, però il personale è veramente molto gentile

Could be better. Best thing about hotel was the location.. right across from the beach. Just little things that added up diminished the enjoyment of the experience. It was nice that we got an early check in, but why no towels? Had to ask a couple times for that. The condensation from the A/C dripped on the headboard and right on your head when you're […] trying to sleep. The hair dryer pulled right out of the wall and the shower is set up where you can't help but get water on the floor. This is in the room we had to move to since our original room would not lock from the outside. To the hotel's credit they did fix it that lock while we were there. They have NO air conditioning like they advertise, all they do have is a fan that doesnt even really work. It gets so humid in your room the bed sheets stick to you at night. The free wifi they offer only works in the hotel next doors lobby. The maid comes and wakes you up at 9 every morning to clean your room. The room was very questionable.... There was water marks all over the walls... The lamps and light shades were knocked over like someone through stuff all around the room... It was very cold.. Cold air blew on me all night... The bathroom was very gross also... I wouldn't stay here again...

The outside looked unkempt but when we walked in it was clean and ok. The room was small and some thing were broken( blinds, control, drawers) but bed & pillows were comfortable. Service is terrible! You checkin at hotel next door, If you needed towels you need to go to the next door hotel to get them! :-(

If you want a room with' 2 full sized beds', and share it with 4 people, you will get charged extra for the 'extra 2 people', because those rooms are meant for 2 people only. To check in, we had to go to the building next door, then buzz into Hawaii hotel whenever we wanted to go in. There were no elevators, so we carried our luggages up a flight of […] stairs. The floor was dirty, so we had to wear slippers whenever we weren't in bed. At first, we thought we didn't have warm water in the shower, because we turned the knob all the way to the left, but we realized that the lever has to be in the middle, pointing up, to get the hottest water. The complementary breakfast is from 7am-9am, but it doesn't taste very good at all. It was a good hotel for people who go out and spend as little time in there as possible. The beach was nice and there were a lot of nice restaurants and CVS/Walgreens right around the block. It is very relaxing vacation until you take the bus to South Beach for more liveliness. Staff is ok and this is the only that is ok in this hotel. Wifi doesn't work whatsoever. Had to use a connection from a place next door, but not without having to go to lobby for this. The place looks like a haunted house: there is no staff on the front desk (there is staff only on the property next door). The place is only half clean: the stairs have […] 3 pounds of sand on each step. It took them 3 days to make my room for the first time. They removed every single towel and didn't replace them. I had to call the front desk (of the property next door) to ask for fresh towels. After all not a very good choice. I think I could have done better. Got carried away because it's really across the street from the beach, but I ended up staying 10% of my time on that particular beach, so it didn't matter much. If you're travelling alone and will stay for a weekend or so, this might an option. If you're a couple I'd avoid this place by all means. If she is 25% picky she won't even leave the car to check in. If she is picky she is definitely dumping you after this hotel. For what it's worth: I've made road trips from Napa Valley all the way to San Diego and from DC all the way to Toronto (CA) always staying in roadside motels. my god it was the slumiest run down hotel ? motel i have ever been in . the first room had NO lamp shade on the lamp and the second rooms lamp shade was upside down. i felt like it should be rented by the hour.. very disapointed. it had paint bubbling on the walls and in some areas a saw mold under the paint .

The shower glass was the dirtiest I have ever seen. You can smell bleach every where (not a bad thing, bleach kills everything). There was a mini fridge (door wouldn't close because of the ice build up from the freezer. Didn't sleep at all, paper thin walls and windows could hear doors open and slamming people walking on the tile floors all night, walking in the room upstairs sounded as if they would crash thru the ceiling. Room was clean but it was cold and no blankets or heat had to wear extra cloth to stay warm. Never again, don't recommend it.

Nothing about the outside of the building is attractive or welcoming but the inside wasn't as bad. You have to deal with the personnel at the Surf Motel next door- which is a bit inconvenient. My first room was SCARY. The walls were badly painted and certain parts near the bathroom door were rotten. Shortly ater I turned the AC on water started flowing […] from "somewhere" on to the floor. I asked to switch rooms and they did with no hassle. Surprisingly my 2nd room was WAY better. The beds and pilllows were actually very comfy and the walls were painted nicely. The only complaint I had was that the shower walls and curtain were not cleaned properly which grossed me out. Also, in the morning it was hard to sleep because I could hear every foot step and door close. The beach is a few feet away from the front door which was so nice and there's a pharmacy and eateries within walking ditsance. For the price and location, I would recommend this hotel to ADULTS ONLY and only if you just need a place to sleep for a night or two. I got lucky with that 2nd room but that may not always be the case so RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!! Continua a leggere

Needs more remodeling. The outside looks outdated. The inside looks better considering it was worse before but I'm sure it could keep potentially get better one room at a time. This hotel is very old. The standard double room was tiny. Somehow I ended up with two doubles even though I booked for a Queen. If you're looking to stay in a cheap place right on the beach this place is for you. It is directly on the beach however you have to be careful with the parking, you do have to pay the meters during the day. There is a small […] fee included when you book for an electric safe for you to use in the room but the safe didn't even work in my room. Overall, it's easy on the wallet and right on the beach. This hotel is literally brand new and changing management. The location could my be better. It's right by the ocean and the neighborhood has a lot to offer. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the stuff is super friendly and helpful. I really recommend this hotel. The Hawaii hotel has a great location, right next to the beach in North Miami Beach. However, the price was what you would expect to pay for a really nice hotel, and it was incredibly rundown. We had to ask for towels and there was falling plaster in the room.

Beautiful trail for a Jog. You step out and you're on the beach. Had to wait bout 4 hours and them had to instruct them how to fix wifi. Stay here for the great location. NOTHING ELSE IS GOOD!

Some issues I had: TV was broken, AC was set too cold and couldn't be changed, safe was broken butI still got charged for it. The big plus of the Hotel is its proximitry to the beach. So if that is all you're looking for than this Hotel might be a cheap option.
