L'hotel è indubbiamente in una buona posizione, a poca distanza a piedi dai ristoranti e negozi di South Beach. Nonostante sia pittosto datato, è tenuto bene sia per quanto riguarda le camere che per le aree esterne e comuni,(belle le piscine).Purtroppo dalla nostra camera non c'era una gran veduta (vista parcheggio) e in bagno non era presente alcun […] piano d'appoggio e il lavandino era veramente piccolo. Molto comodo l'accesso alla spiaggia con un ombrellone, teli mare e due sdraio a disposizione per camera (13 $/giorno a camera). Da segnalare il "Valet Parking" a 30$ /giorno. Lo consiglierei per il più che buono rapporto qualità / prezzo, ma non a chi cerca l'hotel di lusso. Continua a leggere

Such a great location..Right on the beach, beautiful pools and everyone at the hotel was extremely nice. The staff at the beach were more than helpful and friendly. This place is great. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are nice and big. The locations is awesome. Quiet but right down from the action. The pools are great and you are right on the beach. Rocky and the beach attendants are always ready to help.

The hotel overall was of great quality. There is a host of pros and cons for this property: PROS - Direct beach access / clean rooms / attentive maid service / beautiful resort style pool area / for its size the gym is well equipped / great location (it is just below 5th street which means it is quiet at night. All the hotels above 5th are also night […] clubs, and therefore very loud until 4 or 5 in the morning. You're able to very easily walk to any of those clubs, and walk back for a quiet nights sleep at 2 or 3 or whenever you usually finish a night out.) / great nearby restaurants (Tongue & Cheek is a fantastic place for dinner and Fratelli di Buffala serves excellent pizzas which are made according to DOP standards of Naples) CONS: Some rooms do not have a balcony (this is acceptable, but make sure you ask for one if you know you want it) / Although the hotel was overall clean there were minor rust stains and etc. in the public areas (probably just nit-picking, but I feel attention to detail is important). Overall I would return if the price was right, otherwise I would go south a bit more and stay at the Marriot or Hilton which are pretty much at the southern most point o South Beach and still only a 5 minute walk from 5th street. Good location, in a quiet area of ocean drive, but still convenient., 15-20min walk to Lincoln Road Mall. Older building, old doors, gets very noisy at times, you can hear all the noise from the hallway. Room was okay, not as nice as on the pictures. Nice pool area and access to beach. The rooms are a bit dated, but everything worked and it was cleaned thoroughly each day. We appreciated that it was on the beach and the heated pool was also very nice. Outside pool and garden area are nice and beachfront is an advantage. Quiet end of SoBe Room was OK but TVs were not working on the day we arrived, but were fixed within 24h Breakfast place is not great, nicer to have breakfast in one of the many cafes on Ocean Drive. Staff at hotel were helpful.

The hotel is in a great location, on the beach and just steps from Ocean Drive. The pools are well maintained and all the staff I encountered were welcoming and friendly. Being there for the beach and outdoor activities, we weren't looking for a spa experience. What we had was the ideal location, beach access, and a very nice room and staff. Totally enjoyable long weekend!

A very acceptable hotel where the staff were very helpful and friendly. Good standards and location with the area below fifth street being regenerated and now having more interesting restaurants to visit without going into the busier Ocean Drive area. The Beach area is good but the sun beds would benefit from mattresses. Otherwise no negatives.

Excellent hotel located at the southern end of South beach, close to the action but in a quiet location. Not a large hotel as it only had 3 floors but this gives it a very friendly atmosphere and it is certainly not lacking in facilities. We had two one bedroom suites which were a very good size and comfortable the only negative was that the matress […] on the sofabed was thin so you could feel all the springs. The staff were all very attentive and a pleasure to deal with and all the meals we ate in the restaurant were very good. The beach was absolutely beautiful and having paid the resort fee there was always beds waiting for us no matter what time of day we arrived and again the staff were always available to fulfill your needs. The Savoy was perfect for our purposes. Not too crowded, nice pool, beachfront. We were upgraded to a suite room with a full living room & kitchen, which was nice. The bed, however was most definitely a full, not the queen we requested. Though this is not one of the fancier hotels on the ocean strip, it was good enough for us and I would return.

Great location! Close to the nightlife on Ocean Dr, but without the noise. Beautiful scenery and very clean. We left on a monday and the maintance workers were busy painting, fixing, items throughout the facility. Definietely would return again!

Ideal location "south of 5th". Easy walking to South Beach strip, boardwalk, restaurants, shops, etc. Beautiful outdoor area with two pools, one heated for cooler days. Just steps to the beach. Large comfortable rooms with separate bedroom/living areas. Very attentive/responsive staff. Excellent location: it backs onto the beach and is near all of the restaurants on Ocean Ave. There was plenty of space in our suite which had two rooms and two TV's and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and a second small sink for the "kitchenette". Nice hotel, location is exceptional, on the beach with a nice pool. All the staff we met were professional and very friendly, no fault there. Biggest Issue was the resort fee which was charged which is not clear and also the amount of money held on your credit card when using the bar or restaurant which again we were not told about!

We were able to check in early. Pools and area were very nice. Beach clean and great for walking. Restaurant and bar service was not that great but convenient. Great location !

When I first checked into the hotel first impression the lobby was it was close to the pics you see on line. My room was a suite but was nothing like the pics, Older and outdated. The pool area and beach were very nice. The first nights stay was terrible. The bed in my room was the hardest bed I've ever slept on, felt like the floor. The pull out bed […] felt like sleeping on springs. Was ready to check out the next day. This was room number 215. After complaining they moved me to another room (#105) which was very nice. Looked like the pics on line. Floor to ceiling windows and deck overlooking the pool. The rest of my week was great. This was the week of oct 31st and the hurricane made for some cancelations so was able to change rooms. Good luck on the room you get. Here is a picture of the bad room and of the pool. I booked this hotel last minute for a quick overnight trip with 3 16 year old girls, 2 visiting from Germany. I read a lot of reviews and wanted to make sure I was staying in a clean hotel, on the beach and appropriate for my guests who were most interested in seeing Ocean Dr. I selected this hotel as it had mostly good reviews. The raves about the […] staff were right on. This hotel is under renovations so it is a work in progress. We had the first room off the lobby so we dealt with early morning noise and workers preparing to install new TVs. Upon leaving and looking for breakfast i commented to my guests about the noise and a man followed us into the restaurant. He immediately offered to buy us breakfast on the house in response to my comment about the noise. It was the general manager, extending his courtesy for the inconvenience. Class act. And the breakfast was good. He explained the changes happening and assured us things were going in the right direction. The pools - plural - were gorgeous. There is beach access steps away. There is an up charge for the "nicer" chairs and cabanas, but 2 chairs and an umbrella come with your room. There is beach food service, but we did not partake so can't comment on that. I can recommend the Savoy and hope each time I go back it will get better and better. Keep it up Savoy, a resort on South Beach that is away enough from the noise of the "strip" but a block away from all of the fun. Continua a leggere

We had a view of the car park next door and that was all. Room had been renovated but we were unable to use the bath as there was no plug and then bath was dodgy. Every time we had a shower we had to put a face cloth rolled up at the end of the bath otherwise water ran on to the floor. We booked with two other couples and specified that we be on the […] same floor, one couple was on the ground floor the other couple and ourselves on 3rd floor. This hotel is very quant but it's way TOO QUIET. They don't play any music to get a feeling going. Would b nice to have music by the pool. Staff are amazing. The hotel was nice but old. the pictures are slightly deceiving and are way better then in real life. the shower was not updated at all. and we had notice blood on the sheets which grossed us out. i paid for 4 guests (they charged for 2 extra people in the room) and yet they didnt leave sheets for the pull out bed. i called for them and they didnt even […] make the bed up. you had to do it yourself. the view was of the pool and it was nice. the patio is a nice touch but overall i expected more for the money. Lovely setting with gorgeous tropical landscaping. The room was very nice with separate sitting area. Staff was helpful without any snobbishness. We only spent one night there but could have been happy there for a week. Many amenities from separate beach area, fishing pier, and swimming pools.

Perfect location on south beach. Away from the busy, noisy restaurants but close enough to walk. Hotel backs onto Miami beach with beautiful white sand and you can walk miles along the beach. Pool area is perfect for kids and a deeper pool for adults. Decor is art deco, beautiful and comfortable. Concierge is helpful. Valet is $30/night. The hotel has great location in the South Beach. However the building requires some refurbishment and repairs, especially in relation to plumbing and electrical wiring. We spent our first night in a room with so many faults that we had to ask for a relocation to another room.
