bello e caratteristico l'ingresso, inadeguate le camere, in particolare segnalo le dimensioni insufficienti in particolare del letto.

great position! (close to the Alamo). The room was small but comfortable even if the air conditioned was noisy. Good and funny Texas shaped waffles for breakfast.

Ottima posizione, essendo circa 10 minuti a piedi lontano da downtown. Camera piuttosto confortevole, pulizia accettabile, personale alquanto gentile e disponibile. La colazione fin troppo spartana, ma accettabile. Tutto sommato, consiglio a tutti di scegliere questo hotel per il prezzo davvero basso rispetto agli standards degli hotel americani (very expensive!) e la qualità dei servizi e della camera che si sono dimostrati essere più che buoni.

Excellent location, everything in easy walking distance. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Rooms very spacious, decorated and furnished in style and comfortable, although I did have a little issue with the shower. I wouldn't hesitate going back or to recommending this hotel.

"Econo Lodge Central in San Antonio"
It was a convenient hotel. It was about 5 minutes from downtown. There was also a Wal-Mart and I-hop around. It was pretty clean except the TV signal wasn't good and the microwave and refrigerator weren't plugged in. Also there is this door that connects rooms, it's looked and doesn't have a knob on the other side but people constantly try to knock […] it down or something. Other than that the hotel was nice. "Non-Smoking Rooms"
My only concern was that although I was staying in a non-smoking room, cigarette smoke was coming in through the vent system in the bathroom, even though I closed it. So all of my clothes ended up smelling like I was a smoker! The room was dated, but very clean. The bathroom was very clean. I have to say that the staff was extremely nice and cordial, […] did their very best to give me air freshner, etc. I was in town for my mother's funeral and they were very accommodating, I had my dog with me, etc. The location is excellent, right off of I-10 and Vance Jackson. There is a Walmart, Bank of America across the street, a Starbucks (kattycorner) you have to drive since that is an extremely busy intersection, and a fabulous pet/vetinerary Beckers, just around the corner (using the access road). "Exceeding expectations"
I was sceptical before arriving because of the previous reviews said that it was basically "good for the price". But when I arrived, I was greeted by a smiling staff that worked expeditiously to get me to my room within a minute or two (I'm not exaggerating). The room was extremely clean, I mean even a person who has OCD thought the room was clean. […] My wife (who never takes baths at hotels) took two baths before we left the next day. Hotel was okay. Hotel address on file is wrong. We had a tough time finding it.

"Okay for just one night"
We didn't eat the free breakfast because the tiny lobby was way too crowded. The ambiance was nothing to write home about, but it was comfortable for one night and the price was pretty good.
