"The Marriott Courtyard in Ithaca, NY, near airport"
Every other hotel I like in Ithaca was booked and Marriott is usually reliable. However, this one is about 20 minutes from Ithaca College and my son and almost as far from downtown. I found the staff here unhelpful. When I called for directions--it's located in one of those weird business parks behind the airport--I was put on hold while I kept circling […] in the dark. The young woman at the front desk was sarcastic and overly solicitous in a way I found rude. The lobby smells of strong chlorine. The rooms are fine, typical for the chain. But I'll be sure to book elsewhere ahead of time in the future. Continua a leggere
"The Mariott Ithaca - good stopover"
A pleasant and comfortable stay, no complaints. Good standard of decor. Fridge and decent coffee maker in our room and food prep sink. Our room had two standard double beds and was a decent size. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is set in a business park or similar so somewhat isolated, but staff happy to give recommendations for local restaurants […] only 10 minutes drive away. Hotel provides microwave and coffee free of charge in lounge. Has a good little 'shop' behind Reception which supplies all manner of goods, from toothpaste to sweets, snacks, chilled and microwave meals. Plenty of choice to tide you over if you don't want to eat out. Nice area, quite close to Cornell university, should you be thinking of having a look round! Continua a leggere

"Great, comfortable stay"
I've stayed here a few times while traveling for work over the last couple of months - I would definitely recommend this hotel to others because of the friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and general quality of the hotel. The location is also really handy for those visiting Cornell.
"Ithaca Hospitality"
This hotel has a wonderful breakfast restaurant. The usual continental is available as well as a full menu. Its just off the main thoroughfares so it is easily accessed and quiet. Lovely Ithaca setting and all the staff are very helpful and polite.
"Really nice stay"
I was surprised with this hotel as the interior had clearly been updated recently even though the exterior looked older. The King Suite was really comfortable and the cleanliness of the room was great. The service was great and I would definitely recommend this to others and stay there again.
"Comfortable Room; So-So Breakfast"
The room and staff at this hotel were very good. Two things I didn't like: 1) for $8.95 per person, the breakfast was barely satisfactory -- we had to make our own waffles! and the buffet was limited in terms of choice; 2) the distance of the hotel from Ithaca and Cornell University was several miles -- really out of it.

The hotel was gracious, quiet, smoothly run, with really comfy beds. The room design is elegant and functional, with a full desk area. (Try to get a room facing away from the highway, it's a boring view. )The pool and hot tub were just the right temperature and thankfully open until 11 pm. The majority of the breakfast buffet was lukewarm and merely […] adequate, (though the staff will make you a hot omelette.) "Marriott Courtyard in Ithaca, NY"
Lovely, immaculate hotel property. Very convenient to the airport, and about 4 miles outside town. Also relatively convenient to Cornell campus. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I've checked into in a while, and the bedding was extremely comfortable.

"Courtyard Marriot in Ithaca"
The hotel is in a business park. Other than breakfast, you must get in your car for dining. This turned out to be a good thing - we enjoyed the restaurants we found in Ithaca Commons, only 5 minutes away. Although the hotel was full, we had no problem with noise. Hotel staff was happy to talk, and were very courteous. We will probably stay here again […] for future trips to the Finger Lakes. Continua a leggere

"Pluses and minuses..."
No WiFi in the rooms... There was an ethernet cable but these days that seems out of date. There's a thermostat in the room! - why don't all hotels do this? Air handler a bit noisy, but it was constant and not cycling on and off all night. Great setup with the two sinks one outside the bathroom Shampoo wasn't full! - probably an isolated incident. Pool […] and hot tub very nice. Exercise room looked well stocked. The bill didn't show total paid... Breakfast was pricey - and not included. Continua a leggere
