Hotel molto curato nei dettagli, pulizia della camera eccellente. Ottima posizione facilmente raggiungibile dalla metro (linea 8). A pochi passi dalla zona Bastilla dove pullula di locali. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti. La cosa più bella...le casse nel bagno dove si sente l'audio della TV!

Hotel vicino a piazza della Bastiglia collocato in un quartiere grazioso e tranquillo. Le camere sono pulite e ben curate, anche se piccole, ed il letto e molto comodo. Grande doccia collocata in un bagno molto piccolo ma funzionale. Personale gentile e reception attiva 24h al giorno.

Carino, lo consiglio per soggiorni brevi....max 4 giorni, perchè la camera è un pò piccola. Unico probelma: la porta trasparente del bagno, che toglie ogni tipo di privacy ! Comunque un buon hotel nel complesso, comodo anche da raggiungere con la metro (ci sono ben 2 fermate vicinissime).

The hotel is quite easy to find and is a short walk from the metro station. There are quite a number of shops/ restaurants around as well. The room itself is small, but clean and new. There is air conditioning which is also a plus.

Young design and for the price a very nice experience. I will come back to stay at this place again.

The Color Design was quite a delightful surprise for me. It's located in a delightful arrondissment far from tourists, yet full of cafes, bars and restaurants. It has a great conections to the Metro and it's within walking distance of everything one wants to see in Paris. The staff is friendly and helpful, which is something of an endangered species […] in Paris. The rooms are small for American standards, yet they are superbly decorated. The housekeepers can be a little annoying during the mornings but that's about as far as one can complain. Positively great experience! Continua a leggere

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and it was a pleasure to stay here. They provided ample toiletries, clean room, modern room, helpful staff. I think this hotel had better service and accomodations than a 4-star hotel that I stayed at prior to my visit here. It was a wonderful stay, close to transportation and in a nice area with lots of little restaurants […] and cafes. We had already booked ourselves at another hotel when we started looking for less expensive options. We're so glad we found The Color Hotel. While it only had a 2-star rating we read the reviews and made our decision based on them. We saved more than half of what we would have spent at the other big chain hotel. The staff at The Color Hotel were very […] friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very pretty, we loved the modern design and different color themed floors and rooms. Our specific room was quite comfortable and rather roomy. We have definitely stayed in smaller hotel rooms. Our only input for any improvements the hotel could make would be the shower/tub in the bathroom. We personally just don't care for hand held shower heads (just a preference), so we didn't care for that too much. And the glass "door" of the shower could have either been slightly wider or removed entirely and replaced with a shower curtain as it was a little difficult to shower and keep the water in the tub. There is little storage for clothing but enough room in the room to accomodate luggage. Keep in mind that this is a boutique hotel so it's not going to have some of the more common ammenities of larger hotels (ie: no fitness room, and only one common area computer). We brought our own computer though and that was not an issue - you can get wifi access for free in your room. The breakfast bar is really lovely, the food is good, although the selection was a bit limited compared to other more expensive hotels. The location is great as it's quiet at night since you're not near any big tourist attractions, you're pretty much in a residential area. The metro line 8 is a block away and the line 1 (if you'd rather walk to it than take the 8 over to it) is about 3 blocks away. ATM's in either direction close by, a pharmacy nearby, grocery store and plenty of restaurants nearby as well. The purple pub on the corner is a great little spot!! Clean, modern, non-smoking, free wi-fi, decent breakfast, great location, very friendly staff - what more could I ask for? Wished the room was slightly larger, but the size wasn't enough to deter me, and really, who cares. Overall a very nice experience. There is also a supermarket across the street, and bistros, cafes, boulangeries, patisseries, and […] best of all, a metro station all very close by. I have stayed many times in Paris over the past 10 years. This was a great little hotel. The rooms were compact as to be expected in Paris. The A/C worked fantastic which is not alway the case in Paris. The rooms were clean and in great shape. The best shower I have ever had in Paris. The staff was helpful and friendly. Comfortable hotel in Paris at reasonable rates.

We had a problem at check in- I had reserved two twins and they had given us a double. Was fixed without me even having to say anything, they upgraded us to a superior room. Very cute design, plain simple lines and creative use of colors throughout. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Only drawback was that the bathroom door was see-through, which makes […] it interesting sharing w/ a friend. Somewhat away from main tourist attractions, but the closeness of the metro stop made getting to the center of city very easy. Great restaurants surrounding, as well as some wonderful bakeries. The Hotel was a little jewel in the mist of a very Parisian neighborhood. We felt welcome since the moment we entered the lobby. The personnel went out of its way to help us even with our limited french communication. The decor is very modern, minimalistic and tasteful. The room was not as small as some reviews indicate. It was bright and cozy. The […] bed was very comfortable. The shower did drip onto the floor because it only has a panel that covers half of its wall, but that was a minor inconvenience. Our room in the 4th floor was very quiet and restful in spite of being near the Hospital Saint Antoine. The small breakfast area in the basement is bright and airy and the decor made our breakfasts very enjoyable. Whichever concierge was on duty was very informative and friendly. The immediate neighborhood has excellent restaurants and a very charming market. Small rooms, but is all you should need if you are site seeing Paris.Great market very close to the hotel. Subway station just around the corner for easy connections to all of Paris.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Color Design Hotel. We liked the location because it was in walking distance to many great restaraunts. Also, bathroom was very clean.

We really liked this hotel. Smart, clean and the quirky design features are great. On close inspection it is a bit 'ikea' but for a few nights in a great city this place fits the bill well. We didnt have breakfast […] at hotel- there is an amazing boulangerie at the end of the street near the metro staion. The croissants are 90cents and the best I have ever tasted. In fact everything tastes better in Paris, coffee, cheese, steak, wine... The location is great too - the metro station is close but Paris is so compact you can walk to most places anyway - we ambled out of the hotel and found ourselves in Marais or by the river without much effort. We booked the Eiffel Tower in advance - definitely worth doing as the queues are always huge. The sacre Coeur was also lovely and the little square just to the left is full of character and great to sit for a drink and people watch. I've put this on my list to return. The design concept, modern decor and convenient location make it a sure bet to return. Breakfast is not included and seemed pricey, but there are plenty of options close by, including a great Patissiere on the main street, and a tiny grocery story just down the road. The design of the hotel is lovely. However, it's very small and as other people have already said, the bathroom flooded every time we took a shower. But the worst thing was, one of the front desk staff was extremely rude. He never smiled and when we said hello to him, he just ignored us (I don't know why he was angry about his customers). And on the […] days we checked in and checked out, he made mistakes and got angry on us although we did nothing wrong. We loved staying at Color Hotel... great, quiet location with scads of restaurant possibilities nearby and within a 15 minute walk. Also, fantastic metro connections with Line 8 just 2 blocks away. The hotel is brand new... still under construction in fact. Very sleek, modern, fresh, crisp, edgy. Reception was consistently warm and helpful. Fabulous […] breakfast (they baked their own rolls, croissants), with superb coffee, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, cheese, meats, etc. Great. The room is not big, but by typical Paris hotel standards it WAS big! Flat screen TV nice touch. Great climate control (quiet and accurate temperatures). The bed was VERY comfortable with high quality linens.... SO... the tweaks... The bathroom needs some serious re-thinking... first, the shower stall doors have a 1/2 inch gap right down the center.... every shower, no matter how careful we were, flooded the bathroom. Annoying, to say the least; second, the lavatory has a bowl sink the sits above the counter.... looks very cool and practically speaking it's awful... .water splashes OUT of the bowl. Third, the mirror over the sink is too low for a 6' tall man... I could see my nose... that was it... had to bend down to comb hair. Fourth, the bathroom lighting was baffling... brilliant halogen over the toilet... discrete lighting over the shower and NO lighting over the mirror and sink. Pity the poor woman having to put on makeup. The only way I could even see to shave was to use the mirror that was just inside the entrance to the room... and even there, the lighting wasn't great. Finally, they need to re-think storage space in the room. We were there for 4 nights, two big suitcases, lots of stuff.. and there just weren't any places to put things... no drawers for example... various ledges, which were nice, but not enough that we could unpack, tuck the suitcases out of the way and live in the room. Very chic hotel in a nice area of Paris...

A pretty new and very nice upscale design hotel, with great und for Paris also quite spacious and functional rooms (big screen LCD TV, free wireless, room safe, etc.). The hotel location is excellent, close to Metro lines and in walking distance to the lively Marais and Bastille areas. The Color Hotel is very beautiful and is perfectly situated for those who want to get outside of the tourist traps. You are walking distance to the Bastille, Nation, République, Pere Lachaise Cemetary, Promenade Plantée, etc. The place is gorgeous--minimalist and ultra modern. My only complaints are minor and have to do with what I have come to call […] the "Designers 3 day rule": some of the very wonderful looking design is impractical and the problems could have been figured out if the designers actually stayed in the room for a few days after planning it. For example, the shower only has a quarter pane of glass (which looks elegant, clean and airy) and the fixed holder for the hand-held head is at mid-waist; if you use the handheld head, water goes on the floor; there are no towel holders or racks for wet towels; you have to dislocate your shoulder to reach the toilet paper; the really groovy sink also leaves water on the counters when you wash up (we used our towels a for bathing, then mopping-up) and it had no stopper at all--a real pain for a contact lens wearer; the hangers in the closet are very mod and architecturally interesting, but they are fixed to the pole and clothes are difficult to keep on the rounded curves of the neat-looking hangers. But these are minor complaints overall. Our room was small, but very comfortable; however, we did not have a whole lot of luggage; we were in the room for a long weekend. A longer stay might present more clothes and luggage storage challenges. I would return, complaints aside; the people who were at the desk when we arrived early were very grouchy and unpleasant--they willfully ignored us altogether until I said something (we did not want to check in early, just to leave our bag). Stunning bathroom, cool color schemes, clean and comfy. Surrounding neighborhood was safe but not as cool as I'd like. Hotel was worth it though.

Das hotel bietet allen Standard-Komfort eines Städtehotels. Preis/Leistung stimmt. Es wird von jungen Leuten geführt und spricht ein jüngeres Publikum an. Zimmer sind modern und zweckmässig, besonders das moderne Badezimmer: ist in Pariser Hotels der Mittelklasse selten gesehen. Ich würde es wieder buchen.

Hôtel super sympa, propre,le lit est très très confortable,juste un bémol sur l'insonorisation du couloir.

l'hôtel est super sympa avec une déco soignée et originale, le personnel est très accueillant à toute heure du jour ou de la nuit. La rue est calme et l'hôtel est plutôt bien desservie par le métro.

Autan le côté cour intérieur est très agréable autan le côté rue est très désagréable surtout lorsque vous êtes réveillez par le livreur de l'hôtel à 06h00 du matin qui ne coupe pas le moteur de son véhicule vous asphyxiant au passage des gaz de son camion... Le personnel est au top et très agréable La salle du petit déjeuner est vraiment étroite […] claustrophobes s'abstenir celle-ci étant située... à la cave... de même n'allez pas déjeuner trop tard (08h30) où vous ne trouverez que des tables salles non débarrassées la déco de l'hôtel est très agréable, situé non loin de lieux très touristiques et d'une rue aux nombreux cafés et restaurants, gros point noir pas de parking en bref avis mitigé car c'est du 50/50 Continua a leggere

Super Hotel an sehr guter Lage, 5 min zu Fuss vom Gare de Lyon, 5 min zu Fuss zur Bastille. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Ich kann das Hotel nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen, ich werde meinen nächsten Paris Urlaub wieder im Color Hotel verbringen.

Afgelopen december 4 nachten in het Color Design Hotel verbleven. Mooi ingerichte kamers met voldoende ruimte voor Parijse begrippen. Metrolijn(nen) op loopafstand (+/- 3 minuten) die je binnen 10 minuten in het centrum van parijs brengen. In de naaste omgeving veel leuke restaurantjes en barretjes! Loistava hotelli hyvien kulkuyhteyksien vieressä (metro ja RER) ja sopivan etäällä turisteista. Huone oli siisti ja viihtyisästi sisustettu. Asiakaspalvelu hyvää. Aamupala oli runsas ja hyvä. En kerrassaan löydä mitään pahaa sanottavaa. Hinta-laatusuhde erinomainen. Suosittelen.

Jeg valgte dette hotellet fordi det lå i grei avstand fra Bastille operaen og nærmeste metrostasjon. Betjeningen var stort sett hyggelige og snakket engelsk. Det jeg kan utsette på hotellet var følgende: 1. Jeg savnet en stol å sitte på på rommet. 2. Det var veldig lytt mellom rommene. 3. Hotel très bien entretenu, design et surtout situé dans une rue très calme ce qui est un luxe dans Paris quand votre chambre est côté rue. Personnel accueillant et souriant. Chambre propre et confortable. Merci à vous pour ce séjour où nous avons pu visiter différents sites de Paris grâce notamment à la station de métro située à proximité.
