Good Location but losy hotel no elevator if your on the 3rd flr you have to carry your luggage all the way up,Parking is bad

Loved the convenience of being able to walk to restaurants. Beach was less than half block away. Courteous and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Price was spectacular. Plenty of extra toiletries. (we ran out) Didnt like that we had adjoining doors in our room. Different strangers in the room next door. Most of them were noisy.

I would,nt book this hotel again. Bed was very uncomfortable Parking was awful. No elevator if you have luggage you have to carry it to the 3rd flr. It was although in a good location for amenities.

Prices were great. The only problem i had was the recptionist did not like her job to well. and she would not a nice lady. After u check in she will not answer anymore phone calls.

Offered breakfast, but you had to eat it in the tiny area they had wasn't enough seating. Overall great place to stay easy access to the beach and in walking distance from the park and eateries.

me and my boyfriend went here and it was really nice because alot of places dont let you check in to there hotels unless your 21 or over, and not 18. it was nice and clean and right next to the beach, and very affordable. i would definetly recomend it.

Our stay was cozy and nice. I rooms was obtain in a good manner. The continential breakfast was good and the workers were pleasant. This was our second time staying over the weekend so this should tell you something because me or my boyfriend do not stay anyway. Thank you all for a nice stay at the beach.

When to clerk told her the beds where to hard because my husband and daugher have back problems, was not polite was very sarcastic and short with me. When I told her that we have met two ladies who said there beds where very comfortable and not hard and even let my daughter and myself check them out for ourselves, the office lady made out like someone […] was checking in later who requested that room which I have stayed at several Days Inn and have never heard that. Then on Sunday while my daughter and I where taking our things to the car we couldn't get back in with our room card and it was only 10:40 and check out is not until 11:00 had to go back to the office and the lady on Sunday was also not very nice either actually was very smart mouthed also, we will never stay at that Days Inn again and I also emailed the property manager also on their rudeness. I told him they needed to take a class on hotel hospitalitym but the housekeepers and maintenance men where very polite and nice, too bad it hasn't rubbed off on the office help. This hotel had rude customer service and front desk. The carpet throughout the stairs stink. The crew don't like customers to have food in their room while there is refrigerator and microwave inside !! It may spoil your vacation to be in such a depressing place. I would not use any Days Inn hotel period.

No elevator, hard beds and musty smells. Wasnt that much cheaper than a better, closer to the ocean hotel. The housekeeping staff was the best part of the hotel. They were very friendly and done a good job with the service. It was an "ok" place to stay but for a little more money there are lots of better places. I definetly would not recommend to anybody […] other than "party animals" who doesnt care as long as its cheaper and semi-close to the beach. Also, the "town of Myrtle Beach" charged an extra $2.50 per night to pay for lifeguards, trash service, etc..because of booking through an internet site. Continua a leggere

I only stayed here are a last resort due to last minute reservations for my family reunion. I missed the deadline to book in the resort everyone stayed in & my father, aunt & uncle really wanted to go so I had to make it happen. I read the reviews prior to getting there & hoped they were not true to form. Ha - the joke was on me. We called the front […] desk to let them know we were in traffic but heading that way & the clerk was so rude on the phone. Upon arrival she never even made eye contact nor did she say welcome! I needed to get to the banquet so I just wanted to get in the room, shower & head back out the door. The dingy carpet that leads to the rooms needs replacing. The rooms can use a paint job, replace the beds that people carved their names in & renovate the bathrooms! Need I mention the antiquated telephone, television, chairs and lamps that don't work! Oh let me know forget that I called to asked where was the iron for the room and the staff member laughed in my ear & replied "yeah there aint no iron cuz yall people steal" - I know if may be a fact but REALLY are you telling your guest that "she" steals?????? OMG is this establishment for real? I know plenty of people that stay in Myrtle Beach & they rave about it but my experience was just like that on the movie Psycho - I literally stayed at the Norman Bates MOTEL! Days inn was right across from the beach and close too restaurants I would stay here again

The room was bad the bathroom worse. The breakfast bar is not worth your time. The area is ghetto and cat calling is an issue. The pool is minuscule. Pretty much a waste of money and time.

It was better then I thought it was going to be. Very clean and ok location. I was right across the street for a public beach access so that worked out good for us.

Usually we stay at one of the resorts, we late travel arrangements I decided to go with the Days Inn....and I do not regret one moment. The folk were great Nicki/Lyle are the best...cleaning staff wonderful. I am planning to go back and plan to visit there again if there is a room for me need a firmer bed....But, what ever...... ramona 207

All of the staff at the Days Inn were hospitable, especially the gentleman who worked 2nd shift. He worked to make my sister and I feel comfortable and even offered to help us with our bags. My only concern was there was no elevator and we had alot of luggage Outside of that, I had no complaints.

This is not a high quality hotel but okay for the price. We requested a non-smoking room but got a smoking room. When we complained this to the staff on duty, they said that room is non-smoking but previous guest was smoking in there. They were quick to change the sheets and also sprayed the room to remove odor.

My vacation was ruined by the manager and she was very races and rude,not only 2 me bout the kids as well! if sumthing is not done then you as a company will continue 2 loose bisness!!!!! never again will i stay at a days inn

Room was the price I was looking for and in the right location. Nothing special

I was very impressed with my stay at the Days Inn Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I was expecting it to me a beat up hotel because of the low prices I found it for. It was seconds away from the beach. Parking was very convenient. I wish they had an elevator in the middle of the building. Only complaint was around 8/9am over the weekend […] some staff member was opening the hotel room doors and slamming each and every one of them extremely loud. It was rude and disrupting. I was looking for inexpensive accommodation in a decent room. I was pleased to find that this days inn has large rooms that are in good condition and are clean enough that my skin wasn't 'crawling' - it was actually all good except the carpet could have used a cleaning but for a beach hotel it is clean. there was very little noise and the location is […] great. staff were very helpful and responsive. light breakfast and coffee is available until 10am which is nice for a late riser like myself. i was able to access wireless internet in the lobby but the signal was too weak in my room. overall, this days inn met my wishes and i would stay there again, but i wouldn't take someone there who i wanted to impress - it's a basic place to stay that is fine for a cheap overnight. My mom and I enjoyed our stay here the staff was very good and the room was nice. It's one block to the beach. You can see the beach from the parking lot.

We went to Myrtle Beach for a couple days to take care of a speeding ticket that we received earlier in the summer. We weren't looking to spend a lot and I was worried when booking this online. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel was very clean, and the customer service was excellent. Was further than we thought from the strip. Across the street from the ocean, and close to the Family Kingdom amusement park. If we went again, we would stay closer to North Myrtle, where there's more things to do.

The hotel was very close to the beach front. The breakfast was alright. I was not pleased with having the cleaning cart sitting outside our room door all day, everyday. Office staff was helpful on where to find good resturants and oceanside activities.

The location of the hotel is good close to the Family Kingdom but it is not in the ocean front and had to cross a road. The hotel is old and needs work to increase insulation from outside and please replace your door as there is a big gap from the edge so noise and air from outside can get into the room especially if someone is smoking outside. We get […] a non-smoking but we still smell smoke from inside. One of the lamp light bulb is broken. We had requested to change but they never did (not a big deal but its a poor care). The pool is situated next to the road and surrounded by car parking slots (don't like it). That night, we can't sleep due to loud conversation from next door(several people) which lasted for more than 3-hours (11sh -2AM)! Called hotel line but nobody had pickup the phone. Previous tenants used the A/C as an ashtray! I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel. There are a lot of better and I mean better hotel around the area at the same rate or even better. This hotel met most of my expectations. My only complaint is that the beds were too hard for my liking. Everything else was good.

Shower was broke and did not turn off water was not able to run in tub. Door had paint peeling off!

showers head needed to be fixed and was fixed the night of arrival. faucet needed to be fixed, was never fixed. torn towels in bathroom. two entrance lights were out. was was replaced the next day, the other was never fixed, aparently something wrong with the wall outlet rather than the light. television signals too weak and blurries. arm chair broken, […] never fixed. in general, the hotal is in disrepair. we stayed 4 nights, i don't think they were changing the bedsheets. This hotel is great for those who cant afford the luxury of the big resorts, and still has nice rooms, a pool, and an ocean view across the street. I took my two young children and they had a ball all weekend!

The room itself was clean but the bathroom left a lot to be desired. Furnishings were old and did not look clean. The air conditioning took over three hours to make the room comfortable and that was on an overcast day that was not very warm. Carpet in the hallways smelled very much like a kennel.

While chilling I like to listen to Fox News. It did show as an option in the channel selection but was not an option when choosing the channel directly or surfing, Channel 51 if I remember correctly. Channel 50 and 52 were there. Imagine how I stratched my head while eating the sad items called breakfast, the desk clerk were watching Fox News, Channel […] 51 there in the canteen area. I don't know if it was a fluke in the rooms or just my room, still hmm. I wanted to ask other guests but thought the better of it, until I was asked on this review. This was heaven compared to the hotel i stayed in the night before. Everything was clean. I had nothing to complain about exept the fact i was on the third floor with just me and my two year old son and toteing everything up by myself. But that was my fault. I loved the hotel. This hotel was perfect for our stay at Myrtle Beach. A short walk and we were on the Beach. The room was cleaned daily. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone we know who would be going to Myrtle Beach.

Hotel is nice. The location is good. There are more than enough parking spots. The free continental breakfast isn't bad. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was very spacious. TV had a decent amount of channels. The pool was fun too, except that I think there might have been too much chlorine b/c it turned my wife's hair slightly green (probably […] b/c she dyes it). The greatest part of the hotel was the friendly staff members. They made my stay amazing.

Very bad, everything was broken, the vending machines, laundry and the toilets, front desk don't answer the phone after 12 PM, overall, very bad hotel

Overall it was great! It was clean and it was easy access to the beach across the street. There was no loud noise or alot of partying going on. one night there was at the pool a few young people drinking but not any problem with it. The water wnet out a for a few hours but it was repaired in a reasonable time i thought. Didn`t have to park far away […] or walk across the street to get to our car. typical Mytle Beach Motel. not the best, not the worst. They lost all points when the water was shut off on Saturday. the manager stated that it was a city problem and other hotels where having the same problem. After checking with several hotels around this one we found this was not the case. When asked at the one next door about if they had water […] the reply was, let me guess, you are staying at the days inn. Turns out this is a common problem here. Not sure if it was lack of bill paying or plumbing but I never saw anyone working on anything and the plumber that was there told me he was there only incase of a backup when the water was turned back on, and it had been off most of the day. The hotel is OK and I was actually a little impressed at the room cleanliness and linen quality for the price. However, we went one evening with no water from at least 6pm to 10:30pm due to a plumbing problem within the hotel. It was a decent room for the money for a weekend.
