Ci siamo trovati molto bene in questo hotel: ottima pulizia, metropolitana 5 minuti a piedi sulla linea 2, disponibilità personale (anche se non tutti parlavano inglese). Solo una cosa negativa è da segnalare e non è cosa da poco, considerando che è un hotel 5 stelle... la connessione gratis wifi non era presente neanche nella hall, servizio che abbiamo invece trovato negli altri hotel in Cina in cui siamo andati, compreso quello a 3 stelle!!!

Hotel di forte carattere, centralissimo. Le stanze hanno uno sfogo verso l'esterno; un bellissimo giardinetto in stile orientale con un tavolino con delle seggiole per rilassarsi. L'hotel è di una pulizia impeccabile. L'arredo è estremamente piacevole ed attuale. molto consigliato, a 2 passi dalla città proibita

Sofitel Wanda Beijing si trova a Pechino (Chaoyang sud), a breve distanza dai seguenti luoghi di interesse: Centro Yintai, Centro commerciale mondiale della Cina e Mercato della strada della seta. Nella stessa area sono inoltre presenti: Parco Ritan e Dong Yue Miao.

Anche il World Trade Center, l'International Exhibition Center e l'Agriculture Exhibition Center hanno sede qui; Jiuxianqiao, la città dell'elettronica, si trova nella zona periferica nordoccidentale.

My husband and I stayed at the Sofitel Wanda for 3 nights and found it to be a very good hotel with everything we needed for our stay. Our room was spacious and clean with a huge king size bed that was very comfortable. The hotel was immaculate throughout with a good choice of dining options and a lovely pool area though the water was very cold! The […] location of the hotel isn't ideal for the sites of central Beijing unless you are being collected by a driver as it is quite a long way out. We found it difficult to get taxi's that would turn on the meter with most drivers 'fixing' a very high fare or refusing to take us. The subway is near the hotel but can be so packed with people it is impossible to get on or off at your stop. We would recommend this hotel as it is of the high standard you would expect from a Sofitel but our top tip would be to book tours if you are visitng the sites and get collected from the door! "Wanda Sofitel Beijing - my new favorite hotel"
This hotel is gorgeous and the service was outstanding. Located in the central business district of Chaoyang, it is convenient for business travelers. The Forbidden City is a short cab ride away. Wi-fi internet in my room was invaluable. They also have a variety of electrical outlets to try to accomodate various needs, and provided a converter for my […] laptop powercord I could use during my stay. CBD location is not ideal for sightseeing, but cabs are v cheap. The building is superb ,but some of the service is struggling to keep with its 5 star tag.The Le Notre restaurant is excellent for a change from Chinese cuisine.
"Week in Beijing"
Sofitel Wanda is a solid 4 star hotel. The value was solid. Employees are well intentioned, some speak little english though. Not much to walk to other than shopping, but that is Beijing. Have stayed there twice in last three month, perfect for a business traveler.
"Terrible Service"
The hotel is nice and in a good location, but hotel service was terrible. Even when checking in at 5:00 pm I still had to wait an hour for them to get a room for me. No mention of an upgrade or anything else for having to wait so long. "Bad location"
I thought the location of the Wanda Sofitel was less than you would want if you didn't know Beijing very well. Staff was very good in helping their guest. Like most Beijing hotel the temperature control in the room was difficult to change. I had to get room service fix the controls. The room temperature hovered about 29 degrees Celsius! Also all the […] lounge areas were constantly full with smokers. These were not hotel guests Although there were non smoking areas but all on the same space. "Visit to Beijing"
The room was very comfortable, though a little dusty. There was no iron in the room though one was supplied when we asked. There was no full-length mirror. On 3 occasions we had to call for facecloths to be supplied and the turn-down service was missed on 2 out of our 5 nights at the hotel. We loved the flatscreen TV in the bathroom! We did not […] eat in the restaurants but the prices in the bar are pretty steep. One concierge was extremely pleasant and helpful, the other much less so.
