Happy Venice ha 3 camere matrimoniali, 2 doccie, 1 salotto e una cucina.Puliti.Siamo stati molto bene in 3 adulti e 3 bambini.Due passi dalla piazza s.marco ma ambiente tranquillo. Dovete portare le cose per lavarsi( doccia sciuma, lo shampoo , spazzolino ecc) che non c'erano. Consiglierei par la famiglia o i gruppi.

il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile. l'hotel è veramente bello, pulito e con ogni confort. ha soddisfatto ogni nostra esigenza/richiesta. si trova vicino a una fermata dell'autobus per Venezia, raggiungibile in 40 min. circa. percheggio interno gratuito. colazione non troppo abbondante, ma ottima. ci ritornerei sicuramente.

Hotel Canal - questo hotel per famiglie si trova a Venezia, in zona Santa Croce. Il sestiere di Santa Croce è situato all'inizio del Canal Grande, di fronte al terminal degli autobus e alla stazione ferroviaria. È un quartiere silenzioso e centrale, eppure lontano dalla confusione dei turisti. Il pittoresco ponte degli Scalzi è un ottimo punto da cui osservare il traffico che anima il canale e da cui partire per visitare le raffinate chiese circostanti, che rimangono al di fuori dei circuiti turistici abituali. Il ponte di Rialto è a soli dieci minuti a piedi o in barca.

Sono stato davvero deluso sa questo hotel. Camera piccola, pulizia scadente, odore di fogna perenne. Da evitare!!!!

"Hotel Canal - Close to Train and Cruise"
Hotel Canal was very convenient for our cruise trip out of Venice. The hotel is very close to the train station as well as the cruise port and Piazzale Roma bus station. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is on the canal with lots of traffic, so a bit noisy. The breakfast was a cold breakfast made up of mostly pastries, cold cereal, […] juice and coffee. The rooms are dated, but large enough for our family of four. We didn’t spend much time in the room. Hotel is conveniently located across the station. Rooms are small but clean, no elevator. Forget breakfast if you have an early train to catch, since it begins after 8.

Antonella was wonderful, she speaks about five languages, fluently. We were most impressed by her thoughtfulness and courtesy. At one point my cousins were calling us on the desk phone and we had just left the hotel. She ran after us to let us know we had a phone call. Tremendous! The room wasn't fancy, but clean and very comfortable, there was air […] conditioning, which was a blessing since it was about 90 degrees while we were in Venice. A great location to Piazzale Roma, but be warned that there are two bridges which must be navigated. "Really needs an overhaul"
The exterior visual of this hotel is shocking - dirty, ill-maintained and a bit seedy. Inside is better, but overall this hotel needs to be closed for renovation. Not to be recommended
"Hotel canal can be improved in Venice, Italy"
The wake up calls were late, tv didn't even work. The third bed was jammed in that it wasn't even against d wall, you can tell it didn't belong but they forced it in. The pics of the hotel can be a bit deceiving but that is not what you get. I have stayed at better hotels there I just wanted to try something new. Stick with what you know.

"great location from Piazza Roma bus terminal"
quick bus ride from Marco Polo airport for a few euro to Piazza Roma. Just a short distance to Hotel Canal-only downside was you must carry luggage over 2 pedestrian bridges. Also very close to cruise ship terminal for cruises. They had internet access for a few Euro for 60 minutes. Room was in old traditonal style but very clean. Staff helpful. Hotel Canal is an excellent location - very close to the bus stop from the airport and right across the canal from the train station. It is also easy walking distance from the cruise terminal. "A total disappointment"
Though the location was very close to the station, the hotel is of very poor standard. The air in the hotel is stale and there are no elevators in the hotel. We had to drag our suitcases through very narrow staircases all the way to the 4th Floor (US convention). The hotel is in serious need of a total renovation. The wall papers are torn, the bathrooms […] are small and dirty, the floor and wallpaper materials are of poor quality, old and probably slapped together by someone who has no concept of workmanship. "Good for the price"
The Hotel was nicely located. It was old with few amenities but was clean with an in the room bathroom. (not all the rooms do) Breakfast was provided in the morning. The room was clean and our over all experience was positive.

"A good value for the money"
Based on conversations with others while in Venice, the Hotel Canal was a very good deal. We talked to people that paid as much as three times what we did for a similar establishment. The location was great..very close to the train station and right on the Canal.
"Not a 3-star hotel."
The hotel is extremely run-down, and not in a charming way. Dirty smelly rooms, unfriendly staff. A bit more about our experience below. When we were checking in, we were told that our room was not ready, and offered to stay at a nearby 2-star hotel instead. We looked at the room, which looked like a room in a hospital, and reeked of Clorox. So, we […] waited and got a room at Hotel Canal. It was a tiny room on the third floor that smelled of garbage and Clorox (there is a restaurant just outside), and had disgusting-looking spots on the ceiling and on the walls -- mosquitoes or some other bugs. We then had to argue to get a better room and were finally given a key to another room to check it out. The smell was marginally better (the room was on the second floor in another wing) and we decided to switch, took our bags down from the third floor (no elevator), only to be told that the new room would cost us more that we'd paid. We finally got the check-in clerk to let us have the second room without paying extra, which took some tricky convincing. It is not clear how this hotel got its 3-star rating, and a corresponding price. I travel quite a bit, and Hotel Canal does not deserve more than 1 star in my book. Continua a leggere

"Good Hotel"
This hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, although it sometimes took a while to be seen at the front (reason for a 4 instead of 5, but a minor point!) and the rooms were very clean. The hotel is great value and the breakfast is standard for any european hotel. It is literally 5 minutes from the main train and bus stations. The main draw back is […] that Sanit Marc's square is about a half an hour walk, but i found that we were able to take mny different routes and this enabled us to see the city. Positives: - Nice workers - pretty clean - quiet - close to vaperetto station - close to train station - next to canal -breakfast included Negatives: room had ants, a/c did not work. A/c felt like a person blowing lightly on your hand when you put it up close to the vent, no circulation. very poor tv in room. nice people, would not stay again however. Great location. Just across the Grande Canal from the train station (Venezia San Lucia) and vaporetta station(s). Also, close to cruise line terminals for people taking a cruise. Exterior a bit run down but is typically for most Venezia buildings.

"Not luxurious but ok for a night"
The mattress was cheap, the champagne was turned and we had ants - but the bed and bathroom were clean and since we spent all of our time out, it was ok for one night.
"Perfekt beliggenhed"
Hotellet ligger perfekt i forhold til busterminal og vandbusser. Vi boede på et loftværelse ( meget hyggeligt ) men med et badeværelse så lille at det ikke var muligt at sidde normalt på toilettet. Stejle og lange trapper, og ingen elevator. Tror det vil være muligt at finde et bedre hotel til samme pris.

1 nacht verbleven in venetie. Voor 1 nacht prima, sanitair schoon maar wat verouderd. Kamers venitiaans en groot genoeg om te slapen. Buitenkant hotel niet echt aantrekkelijk. Vergeleken bij andere hotels in venetie goed betaalbaar. Personeel receptie was erg vriendelijk.

Super , très gentille personnel de l'hôtel, situation extra, surtout pour ces qui arrive par train- en face de la gare.Hautement a recommander. Et en plus: Nos enfants ont voulu nous faire la surprise car c'était notre 42-me anniversaire de mariage. Personnel de l' hôtel organisé leurs demande très très bien! Merci!

Hotel Canal jest położony bardzo blisko dworca kolejowego Venezia St. Lucia. To duża zaleta. Nie trzeba chodzić z walizkami po labiryncie uliczek Wenecji. 5 minut i w hotelu. Śniadania są niezłe, ale skromny wybór. Codziennie budził nas zapach wypiekanego ciasta. Pokój był całkiem duży. Z hotelu na Plac Św. Marka idzie się około 30 minut. 가격 저렴하고 위치 괜찮고 조식도 괜찮았고 깔끔하고 다만 3층까지(실제로는 4층) 무거운 짐을 끌고 올라가야한다는 압박이 아쉬움. 전반적으로 추천합니다. 산타루치아역 바로 건너편이고 찾기도 쉬워요^^

Kjekt hotell med veldig hyggelig betjening. Gangavstand til jernbane og busstasjon, selv om du har koffert. Standarden ikke all verden, men det gjør lite når Venezia er målet. Anbefales!

Våra rum var fräscha och rymliga med luftkonditionering, läget perfekt speciellt för tågresenärer, bra frukost. Mycket bra! Vi som var där var sex medelålders damer på tågluffarsemester.

Hotell Canal er en gammel bygning med lett forfallen sjarme som ligger rett overfor jernbanestasjonen i Venezia, på den andre siden av Canal Grande. Ideaal voor bezoek Venetië : dicht bij Piazza Roma, te voet makkelijk bereikbaar met bagage, familiekamers voor 4 personen, rustige ligging, misschien wat verouderde infrastructuur, maar proper en heel vriendelijk personeel, ontbijt incl. kamerprijs, goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding

Hotel muy viejo y sin mantenimiento, no cuenta con elevadores y las escaleras son muy chicas, ofrecen internet pero a un costo alto, las habitaciones en general se ven viejas y descuidadas, el hotel tiene un costo muy alto en relacion a lo que ofrece, la unica ventaja es que esta muy cerca de la estacion de autobuses, pero lejos del centro

Hotellet kan ikkje ha betre belilggenheit med gåavstand frå stasjonen om du kjem med tog eller frå parkeringshuset (hald til høgre etter brua mot sentrum så endar du på rett parkeringshus) om du kjem med bil. Enkel standard i gamalt bygg som kunne trengt oppussing, men som fungerte greit. Enkel frukost i eigen bakgård (som også kunne trengt litt omsorg). […] Vennlege folk i resepsjonen (same dama heile tida). Så og seie på dørstokken trakkar du rett i kanalen og kan starte ditt Veneciabesøk til fots eller pr båt (av ulike slag). Ein fasinerande by.
