I called the front desk for a late check out but when thy informed me that check out was for noon I really didn't have to request one. So while I was wrapping up some work before checking out the housekeeper walks in (a do not disturb sign was on the door) so I let her know I was in the room. This was about 945am, then about 1015 she slides a note under […] my door stating " you will have to tip me if you stay past noon, I'm supposed to have these rooms cleaned before 11am"! It did not look like the pictures on line at all the bed did not sleep well but the area was nice and close to everything.

I asked for a non-smoking room. They gave me a non-smoking room ,but on a smoking floor. When I got to room the smoke smell in hallway just took my breathe away. Dogs barking and making noise during the night.

Overall ok, halls did smell like smoke, but in Baton Rouge a lot of places smell funny due to mold/mildew. part of the area. could use a little touch up on the paint. everything else was ok, been a couple places better but have stayed at places much worse. I will use them again if by myself and the price is right

I ask for non smoking the room was very smokey. A fight broke out at 3 am we could not go back to sleep. It was not a very good experience. I was getting away and it was not good.

The rooms were very spacious but very outdated. We were unable to take advantage of the continental breakfast because it started too late. Most hotels that I have stayed at begins serving breakfast at 6am which is a more convenient time for our needs.

Stay was good. Breakfast needs some improvement (more options and better quality). I was never able to connect to the wireless due to the amount of wireless traffic in the hotel (based on what the front desk staff said). Overall, it was a good stay.

Needed a one night stay before we set sail on our cruise. New Orleans was crazy with the Super Bowl, Mardi Gras and cruise ships leaving port so we decided to find a place in Baton Rouge. This was the second Microtel we have used and have not been dissappointed. Room was clean, quiet and at a reasonable price.

I was very happy with the location. It was convenient and relaxing. The only complaint I have is that the vending machines that sold water were all empty. It was Friday, and I do not drink soft drinks for lent. I wanted a cold water and all machines were not functioning.

We stay only one night in this hotel for the Mardi Gras (New Orleans). The hotel is right on I10 which gives us an easy access to either I10 East (to New Orleans) or I10 West (to Houston) . The complimentary continental breakfast is good , front desk staff is very nice, very friendly, and willing to help us to find a good restaurant in Baton Rouge. […] We highly recommend this hotel to Relatives and friends. Room was small, but for the area and price, definitely worth it. Wouldn't count on the selling point of free breakfast, it was muffins, biscuits and juice.

The staff was friendly , but that is all the good I can say. Room was dirty. Walls need to be cleaned and repainted. I would not recommend this to anyone unless they upgrade it a lot.

I found food residue (chunks of stuff!!) on the desk chair seat, dried blood stains on the inside of the shower curtain, black, mold-looking stuff on the refrigerator shelves, some sort of greasy smears on the TV cabinet (to be fair, this may have been just excess furniture polish). In town to visit LSU with son. It was alright. Pictures looked nicer on website. Had higher expectations for hotel. Breakfast was a joke. Plan on stopping for breakfast. Good location, easy to get around.

My stay was okay except it was in Room 108 which is right next to the front lobby. I could hear the TV going on all night. Please turn off or lower the volume on the tv at nights. Other than that, everything was okay. I recommend installing door noise reducers at the bottom so that noise does not come into and out of the room so easily.

Furniture in the room had some kind of coating; I had to wipe everything down with a towel before using it. Towels were mediocre. Breakfast was minimal.

This hotel was fine for a short stay. Rather basic. Everything was fine with our room except the a/c did not get quite as cold as I would have expected. It was a cooler time of year so no problem, but would have been if summertime. Ice machine on our floor did not work very well. Breakfast was not worth my time.... But that's an opinion. Hotel staff […] was okay, but somewhat inexperienced feeling I had no problems though. Overall, we got a good rate on this room, so it was a fair deal and adequate enough for our stay. My husband and I stayed here for the Carolina vs LSU game. For the amount we paid it was just fine and convenient to the stadium and shopping/restaurants. The room was clean and kept up. Not the greatest soundproofing but overall it was fine for a 2 night stay!

My non-smoking room reeked of smoke when you turned on the air conditioner. They clean the room with lysol and fabrreze the first day which helped for awhile. But the foul stench came back. It permeated my clothes and the sensitive plastic linings of my CPAP. I hated that room.

I felt like I was in a closet. The noise from the room above me was very disturbing through the night, The noise was like elephants stomping around the room. I even told the front desk clerk and their acknowledgment of my statement was oh with a smile. No shampoo or conditioner was provided, but thank goodness I packed a small bottle.

The room was clean in every way, but the carpet was BLACK. The bathroom was clean, sheets were clean, and the furniture was too. If you walked without shoes for 5 minutes, you feet would be black from dirt. If these people would spend the money to steam clean the carpets, it would be a nice hotel. Wear shoes is all I can stay!!!!

The room was very comfortable and roomy, but the continental breakfast was a joke. It was 45 minutes late, very little food put out, cold, and the girl who was there to take care of this was to busy on her phone. The selection was not only cold but very limited. Will not return because I booked here because of that benefit and left feeling jipped.

My room was on the first floor adjacent to the pool. There were people in the pool until mid night and very loud. I had to get up at 4:00am and as a result got very little sleep. I contacted the front desk and the gentleman said that the people in the pool had asked if they could stay in the pool after hours and he granted their request. He did go out […] and ask them to hold down the noise but after he left (about 15 minutes) they were loud again. Also I had a very late night (national bowling event) we did not finish our squad until 2:00am and I slep un the next morning until about 10:00am. I was in the shower when housekeeping knocked on the door to clean the room so I requested them to come back later. Once I finished, and walked down the hall I told the housekeeping person that my room was ready to clean. She gave me a look that told me that she could care less about cleaning my room and upon my return to the hotel (around 3:00pm) the room had not been cleaned as I suspected. I informed the front desk regarding the matter and the gentleman gave me a clean set of towels. He also offered to move me to a clean room but I declined his offer as I was leaving the next morning and did not want to move all of my belongings. I was overall very disappointed with my stay because of the last night but other than the housekeeping person your staff was very customer orientated. Continua a leggere

We did not get the room we reserved with you. The air conditioner was so loud we could not sleep. There were 2by4s sticking out from under the bed, and my husband cut his leg. You would not move us because they said they could do nothing because we did it online. They were not apologetic when my husband cut his leg. Very convenient to I-10; other hotels, restaurants and shopping nearby. Checked in ~ 8pm and room was still being made up, ready by the time I got back from dinner. The room was small but clean and efficient. During the 4 day stay, none of the ice machines were working and the continental breakfast was all starch.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. I will say that I do not agree with charging a $50.00 "deposit" for having a pet. The deposit is not refundable so why not just call it a fee? I did not care for that at all and I will not be staying there again!

We booked non smoking on hotels.com and we got a smoking room. The employee at desk was kind enough to switch us bc we had an infant. Hotel was dirty and not like other Microtels we'd stayed in before

The room smelled like an ashtray. The bathroom was dirty and smelled like an ashtray. The bedding smelled like stale cigarettes. Room 310 had to be the smallest room in the hotel @ a Premium price. Overall very dissatisfed. Room 310 should be cleaned frm ceiling to floor. There was even a mold substance in the toilet that was very visable.
