This hotel is really 'tired' and in need of updating. The bed 'linens' looked like they had been reclaimed from a local shelter. The only resource for food when not driving was a service station 'mini mart' because your restaurant was closed. The only positive was the airport shuttle service. the staff were pleasant

The shuttle bus that starts at 4:00 am was the reason I chose this hotel. And also for economy. The room was basic, but clean and adequate. A nice bathtub, which I consider a necessity. Quite a lot of traffic noise on the side where my room was, and not the most comfortable of beds, but one gets what one pays for. Hotel attitude on checkin(going) was poor, attitude on returning was fair. Could not get any sleep(going) because of some kind of domestic disagreement in the room above us(fight) that lasted most of the night. The airport shuttle did not pick us up for quite some time. The room which we were assigned was very dated. The room was very cold, bad windows, as well as very noisy from the street traffic. We were on the third floor, and the hallways were very cold and damp. As well, the lino in the room was ripped, counter tops were damaged. On the plus side the room was clean.

we understood that we were getting a cheaper room as we were only staying a few hours however the damp moldy smelling room was disapointing. visable water damage in the bathrom ceiling was very poor for a Vancouver/Richmond airport class inn. our photo did not turn out well enough to attach. on the bright side; for the additional charge we parked our […] car at the inn for a week without an incident. It worked for us. Place was clean. Free airport shuttle got us to the airport in the wee hours of the morning on time. It was sufficient and that's all that matters. We have no complaints.

Short half km walk from a SkyTrain station. Shuttle to airport was available at 4 AM ( not all hotels provide this service so early in the day, so check). We enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine in the lounge followed by a very tasty and well presented dinner in the dining room. This hotel was just what we needed.

The hotel may have been older, but it has been up-kept well and clean. The room I received was large, it had two seperate rooms; a sitting area and a sleeping area, with washroom inbetween. It was a pleasant surprise!

This was the cheapest hotel available for an unintended layover in Vancouver. The front desk staff was wonderful and shuttle service polite, friendly and even early. It was the best part of a couple of days of travel that should have been completed without an overnight stay.

Position and pricing of this hotel were excellent for travellers using the airport and the skytrain. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. Desk staff were helpful and professional.

Staff was helpful with every request and the restaurant was still open a littler later so I could get something to eat after my long day. Room was good, but mattress needs to be replaced with something more firm. I would stay here again when ever I travel to Vancouver.

The hotel was lacking attention to detail with the cleaning. Large amounts of dirt on the door and hallways. Were concerned about whether or not there were chemicals used in the hot tub. Likely would choose not to return.

The hotel is just old and not well kept. The walls are thin and you can hear luggage in the hallways a mile away. Common area carpets were not clean. The staff was pleasant enough. Next time though I'll spend a little more and stay in one of the several hotels near this location.

The restaurant/ lounge in the hotel was never open regardless of the scheduled hours. The hotel upkeep was not very good... old counters, carpets, torn lino etc. The hot tub and garden was very nice though.

Mike at the front desk and Lucy, the owner of the restaurant were great. Some of the other front desk workers were rude. The rooms are really big with kitchenettes. The Internet is super fast. I didn't understand the hours of the Steakhouse restaurant. It was closed by 9:00 on a Saturday night, leaving us starving with no where to eat without getting […] a cab. I had booked this hotel specifically because it had an on site restaurant. The hallways are tile, so every rolling suitcase that went by the door as people caught early or late flights woke me up. Everything echoed. With a three block walk guests can catch the Canada Line rail into Vancouver. This is a very inexpensive way to get to the port or anywhere in the city. Plan ahead...ear plugs and some carry in food would have made all the difference. Continua a leggere

Check in was easy and quick, when we purchased the night it said something about a wine tasting never heard or were told about it. Chamber maids were at our door twice before we were ready to leave the first time 8am? rooms were clean but warm even with the air conditioning on. The location was great.

The toilet leaked, we had to put a towel onthe floor so we were not standing in a puddle. The tap in the bathroom sink was backwards the hot water was on the right side not the left. The room smelled stale and of old smoke. The air conditioner would not cool the room down. We opened the window and the room still smelled stale. small, cramped, old. We reserved a room with two double beds. They put us in a room with one bed. Manager said he would bring up a cot. I told him I did not want to sleep on a cot and asked for a room with two beds, as reserved. Moved us to a smaller, bleaker room, with two beds. Fortunately we were only there for 2 nights.

The room was large, but not very clean. The "kitchenette" consisted of a dirty bar fridge, a microwave, and a tiny stove top. All the cupboard doors hung crookedly and the handles were dirty. The closet doors in the bedroom were dirty and dusty. There was a photocopied paper in the bathroom taped to the wall with writing in Chinese but no English, so […] I had no idea what it was instructing me to do. We stayed at this hotel overnight between flights. The check in was really 'express' as their name suggests, we were in our room within minutes of arriving. The front desk agent gave us good info about the airport shuttle and provided us with a timely wake-up call. The room was big and fit our needs well.

I have to say i was a bit hesitant, after reading some reviews on this hotel' But i must say, check in was fast and easy! Room was out dated, but comfortable. No complaints there. Only thing i have to say is tv channels were not all easy to view! But with that said I feel it was a good deal. No major complaints at all

The front desk personnel are very helpful especially the young Chinese guy in the morning session, the Indian old guy and the filipino old man in the early morning shift. They are very helpful and accommodating. I like the overall feeling of the hotel and the free parking and shuttle to airport are a plus!

Had a good stay although could not get the internet, do not know why and the bathtub was not so nice to look at at there was green stuff on it. Otherwise it was great, good area, good restaurant, the service was not the best but hey, for the price in Richmond, I was satisfied.

I do not know the name of the guy at the front desk who helped us we stayed there on the 3rd of September 2012. He was one of the friendliest and most helpful front desk people I have ever met! Other details: jacuzzi! although very (maybe too) hot. Airport shuttle service was very handy! Not a lot of entertainment/restaurants in the area: Subway, Burger […] King and Starbucks within walking distance. Good beds and shower. Overall: very good price to stay so close to airport! Some of the staff was very helpful, the majority was not. When asking directions I got a vague wave to "a little way over that way" to the train station. In fact it was .6 miles and the taxi was $6.75 for the company he called but just $5.05 for the return trip! Rooms were adequate. We had a room with a kitchenette but the refrigerator was not working. […] Not convenient location if you're coming off a cruise ship or want to visit the city but handy location to the airport and they do offer a free shuttle to and from YVR.
