Only a couple of things that I did not like - Barman continuously scratching his head then making drinks etc. Not at all pleasant! A problem with the pick up of one member of our party to go on a day trip to Blue Mountains. No help at all from the person on the front desk. Gave our Japanese guest directions on how to get to bus company. Fortunately […] her english was very good and she did make it to the Star Casino basement but not in 2 minutes as she was told. Spoke to Concierge who was extremely helpful and apologetic and was going to deal with it. Apart from the above I would highly recommend the hotel for proximity and willingness from staff. We were very impressed with the service and presentation of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. It was close to all the sights or within walking distance of transport to get to places. We would definitely stay there again.

This Hotel was lovely and close to The Sydney Entertainment Centre where Colour Conference was being held. It was a great place with a reasonable cost for three Auslan Interpreters working at the conference. We would chose to stay here again next year for 2013 Colour Conference as it suited our needs completely. Thankyou Novotel.

I was a single woman-traveling alone in Sydney before meeting up with friends in melbourne. I spent a lot of time researching neighborhoods in Sydney-areas of town and views etc... I am so HAPPY with my choice with The Darling Harbour Novotel! The view was better than I expected amnd worth every penny. I was so pleased with the service desk, hotel bar, […] room, location, & BELL HOP guy more knowledgeable and took more time for me than the concierge man upstairs who rushed me and only pushed his perk/kickbacks. Not sure if the concierge heard my questions and requests as he would automatically suggest his place/kickback etc....so that was a disappointment--understand though we are all trying to make money etc... I thought the room was great---so happy with the view of the city and horabour--exactly what I had expected and hoped for and it happened. Location and 9th floor = awesome! In the shower there was a little mold or problem with some shower tiles which I wouldn't have expected but who cares---wasn't in the room too much and the rest was very clean. Service daily was completed well. Anyway, overall I was so pleased and LOVED my stay at the Novotel. IF I ever go back to SYdney I would stay there again--even though I spent a lot of time in The Rocks area-just took taxi cabs since it was raining 4 of my 5 days-ugh. Staying at the Novotel was so close to the Harbour it was easy to pop in and out whenever we wanted to. Had views of the Harbour which was lovely. There was six of us for breakfast and all of us had complaints. Food was nearly cold, been sitting around too long and no staff to help you. Location is good but this facility doesn't earn its 4 star rating - the hotel pool is small, outdoor and unheated and only has one cafe and a bar counter. We stayed 6 nights and our carpet wasn't vacuumed. Dried leaves carried on our shoes remained in our room till we left. Basic amenities like showercap, cotton buds, slippers are not provided. Staff were very helpful as l'm confinded to a wheelchair. The room was big and wheelchair friendly.The food was great and not too expensive and the location was walking distance to all the attractions. Highly Recmended

We had a fantastic stay and beautiful room overlooking Darling Harbour, close access to monorail and Darling Harbour, taxis waiting outside door, restaurant for breakfast was very nice and staff friendly and accommodating.

Had the best time...so close to the things we wanted to do with our child.Short walk or mono rail ride to Power house museum,Aquarium,IMAX theatre,Bowling,The best childrens playgrond that Iv'e ever seen(with water park & it's FREE )and a beautiful ferrie ride to Tronoga Zoo Which basically picked us up from the hotel.And at night it was beautiful sitting […] on the Habour dining then strolling back to the hotel........The buffet breakfast is fantastic too! This hotel is well priced and in a top location. The hallways did smell a bit funny but was ok in the room. Comfortable bed.

This hotel is well located. The staff are busy and lacking in attentiveness. Pillow is too soft and does not offer much suuport. The fire alarm went off one night and sleep was disrupted. arrived off a 7am overnight flight but couldn't get a room until 1130am as they were not ready , not good with two young children sleeping in the lounge. The reception did their best but could have been better.The room was ok and the view was really good, had a hire car booked and the hotel charge $40 a night to park I thought this was a bit high seeing […] as you are paying a high rate anyway for the room.The breakfast was good althouth the aussi's have a strange taste in sausages (mustard and herbs ). Our hotel room was very spacious. I couldn't believe the nice big size of the room. It was very comfortable with 2 little children. Very nice.

Hotel very conveniently located for seeing Hairspray at the Lyric theatre at the Star Casino. Felt safe walking there and back at night to the show. Doorman helpful in pointing us in the right direction - took 15 minutes max. Love the novotel. Perfect location. Was travelling with a baby and felt very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Very affordable for such a nice hotel. Would definatly stay again and recommond to others! Really enjoyed my stay!

Great accommodation in a superb location. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect for those on a sightseeing trip as it is accessible to everything.

We arrived at the hotel following a long drive only to find our rooms were not ready and despite our presence they were not ready until well after check-in. Luckily there was free internet access and Wi-Fi in the foyer. Our package price for the location was good and the inclusion of breakfast was a bonus especially on the public holiday. I enjoyed staying in a good central location near to the Convention and Exhibition centre. Room was quiet and clean and well prepared

didnt like the hotel, not where i wanted it

The hotel was in a terrific position and was quite impressive. Pay extra for a darling harbour view, it is fantastic. The room was very clean and a decent size. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The only let down was the seimming pool, but apart from that the hotel was excellent.

We chose to stay here based on location and convenience to attractions and ammenities we wanted to visit with our children. I can VERY happily say that all expectations were met, and in some cases exceeded. Friendliness of staff along with staff knowledge made our stay much easier and pleasant. Great customer service, very clean, good for families, couples, great location and reasonably priced. Nothing was a bother. Will definitely stay there again.

Service, Frühstücksbüffet und Lage waren ausgezeichnet. Zimmer etwas abgewohnt aber mit guten Matratzen und traumhaften Blick auf Darling Harbour!

Hôtel très bien situé pour aller découvrir la ville tout en étant au calme le soir mais proche des animations de la ville surtout le soir.
