Wonderful hotel in relation to quality/price. Amsterdam hotels are either really good, or really bad: this hotel was just right. Would recommend it and would stay here again.

Great price for a great location! Not so big room, but clean n comfortable enough for a short stay!

No luxury but nice room, bed and service. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was ok. For the price I paid I was very satisfied with the stay. Really good value for money. I would stay again if I just needed a nice room in a good location.

We were probably placed in the smallest two person bedroom in the entire hotel but that didn't bother us. We're not on a vacation to enjoy a hotelroom! The room was newly renovated and the bathhroom was newly tiled. Lots of tv-chanels to chose from, both english and dutch. Almost no floor space to leave our suitcases open. Nice personel at the front […] desk. Perfect location. One block away from the cute area of the nine streets, which was nice to be a block away from the buzz of the restaurants. Good hotel, TV wasn't working though.

I would not recommend the Hotel Looier in Amsterdam unless you could get it at a very good price. The location is good. It is cramped (had to open door of bath to dry off) and fairly soul-less. TC California Sept 2011.

the hotel was not so bad , but in my room was not so clean as 3 star hotel , the towel was not so good and they charge us 17 euro extra without they mention when we buy a ticket , and there was no dryer in the bathroom , and also there was so much noise in the frist floor . but breakfast was just Ok , and Hotel doesnt have enough bycycle for 3 of us […] , therefore we rent from out side ,,, Continua a leggere

I stayed in two hotels during my trip to Amsterdam. The first was the Eden Theater District Hotel (would recommend), the second was the Hotel de Looier. While the lobby area looked clean and decent the room itself was in poor shape. It looked like the bathroom had not been cleaned or poorly cleaned. The curtains were extremely dirty and filthy. My daughters and I had a very pleasant experience at Hotel de Looier. Room was comfortable. I am grateful the weather was cool because there was no air condition. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Easy to walk to major sites. Front desk was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to others and I would stay again.

Upon an unwelcoming check in we found a used band-aid on the bed head, head marks from the last guest on the bed head and an old gummi bear stuck to the side of the bedside - apart from the lack of cleanliness, the room served the purpose of an overnight stay... Just spend as little time in there as possible.

Average hotel, the price for Amsterdam was middle of the road, but was pretty expensive considering the service and location. Pretty far walk from the dam area, and 15 euro taxi ride...ouch, condition of the hotel was okay.

The overall quality of this hotel and the room was very poor for the price I paid. My room was so small that I had to put my suitcase on the floor in the walkway, and there was hardly any room to walk around the bed. The closet was also extremely small. Rooms don’t have electronic keycards which also was a hassle. Hotel staff was very nice, and they all spoke English well. I don’t know Amsterdam well, but the neighborhood and the location seemed pretty good. There are bars, cafes and stores only a short walk away. I would try to avoid this hotel in the future. It's 10 minute walk to laiedseplien. And the staff is not nice. Very small room if you ask for a double bed when you pay for a standard room.

The Hotel de Looier is OK, the room I had was clean, and it was reasonably priced. The location was ideal for me as I know Amsterdam well but is not particularly central if that is what you are after, its near Leidseplein/Vondel Park, the Museum area. The greeting/service isn't great and it took several hours for the check in clerk to locate their 1 […] ironing board and iron for me to use so dont expect service. The room was clean and pleasant apart from the horrible nylon carpet in all rooms and corridors which make it feel like a cheal hostel. So all in all OK Continua a leggere

This hotel is fine for a short stay with a partner or friends but it's not very luxurious and anyone who is picky about decor might be disappointed. Not because of the quality (which is high) but because of the design. It's clean and in good condition with a good location but it's more like an office with a bed than a hotel. A bit weird. It's basically […] an old office block turned into a hotel, some of the decor is very office-like and the bathrooms (although clean and well-maintained) feel just like a pub-toilet or a school shower-room. Again, nothing really wrong with that but it would certainly not advise it for a romantic break or trying to impress someone. But I went with my long-term girlfriend for two nights and it was fine. Good hotel in quiet area, good 15 mins walk to the Dam, tastely decorated rooms, bloke on reception miserable other than that worth money.

The hotel was simple, but it served it's purpose for a short stay in Amsterdam. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The staff was efficient, although not overly helpful. The room was small, but was pleasant and comfortable. I would consider this hotel in the future.

I was scared about the hotel at first because of the price. But it was really nice for the price and would stay there again. The only thing was there was no refrigerator in the room.

Clean, comfortable, and in a good neighborhood, but I would not consider this a three star hotel. More like two. Overpriced compared to competition in the same area.

The hotel is really hard to find if you do not have a GPS. Our room was extremely small, especially the bathroom. I am 5'6 and even I had a hard time fitting in the bathroom. Hotel is very close to many bus stops and a tram stop. We drove in Amsterdam, checked into our hotel then drove outside to a Park+Ride facility and took the bus back to the hotel […] and it only took less than an hour to do all this. You need to pay some minor amount of tax at check in. One night we had to walk around the neighbourhood after getting off a night bus at ~3.00am (night bus costs 3.5Eur per person!) and it was very quite and safe. Many restaurants within 5 min walk. Bien situé mais fenêtre donnant sur immeuble pouilleux avec balcon transformé en déchetterie Pas de fenêtre dans la salle de bain ou sont les toilettes, pas de chauffage dans la salle de bain, d’où l'on entend les conversations des voisins et ou le plafond est couvert de traces de doigts. La porte de la chambre laisse passée la lumière du couloir ainsi […] que les bruits. Le parking proposé par l’hôtel est de 25 euros par jour !! Petit déjeuner très limité et peu varié. Günstiges Hotel nahe Leidesplein - dem Zentrum der Amsterdamer Nachtschwärmer. Viele Restaurants, Cafés und Clubs. Große Einkaufstraße knapp 1 km entfernt. Hotel äußerst günstig. 5 Tram-Stationen zum Hauptbahnhof Amsterdam Centraal (8 Minuten). Frühstück okay. Zimmer bis auf ein paar Schönheitsfehler und Geschmacksfragen in Ordnung. N'ayant pas pus embarquer dans l'avion qui devait nous conduire a Budapest, nous avons changé de plan au dernier moment pour nous rendre a Amsterdam, donc réservation de cette hôtel de la terrasse d'un café. La chambre que nous avions était vraiment très petite (coin salon promis mais inexistant, il fallait se couché sur le lit pour ouvrir la fenêtre, […] le petit bureau était presque collé au lit, salle de bain minuscule, pas de petit frigo/bar, décoration sommaire, propreté limite etc). tout ça pour un 3 étoiles au prix d'un quatre, donc pour notre part et vu la chambre que nous avons reçus, je déconseille cet hôtel qui reste juste bien situé et avec un petit déjeuner juste correct pour les 10€ demandé donc globalement déçu pour le prix que nous avons payé. Hotellet ligger perfekt rolige omgivelser og alligevel super centralt , masser af små hyggelige caféer tæt på ..

Geräumiges Familienzimmer. Gutes Frühstücksbüffet. Sehr gute Lage im Viertel Jordaan. Urige Kaffees uns läden direkt um die Ecke. Fußweg ins Zentrum kleiner 10 Minuten.

Måtte velge dette hotellet da alt annet var fult grunnet IBC. Enda dårligere enn fryktet. Små rom, dårlig lydisolering, slitne rom som burde vært oppgradert for lenge siden!

Hotellet er et rart lille hotel - sympatiske og flinke ansatte - og beliggenhed er meget god! Når man først har fundet ud af "systemet" med alle kanalerne - så er det let og enkelt at finde rundt i kvarteret. Derfor vil det være et hotel, som vi også fremover vil vende tilbage til - qua beliggenhed, størrelse og kvarteret!

Prima hotel voor een bezoek aan amsterdam,dichtbij centrum,kamer inderdaad klein maar netjes en schoon.personeel vriendelijk en ontbijt ook prima.Een aanrader als je redelijk goedkoop wil overnachten.

Oui, heureusement que la situation de l’hôtel est pas mal parce que sinon... L’hôtel est dans un piteux état et les chambres sont sale. Je n'ai pas utilisé les oreiller tellement il était taché ! Et les poignées des tiroirs de la table de nuit étaient gluants. Sans parler des tâches sur les rideaux... Et en plus le téléphone n'a pas fonctionner pendant […] 24h ! Continua a leggere

Hotel correct mais sans plus. Un peu cher pour la qualité du service. mais pour un week-end improsé entre amis, çà suffit amplement! Autrement, si vous cherchez de la qualité, il faut le faire autre part!

Matelas pas top, insonorisation absente, douche mal aérée et rideau pas fixé, Seul l'emplacement pourait justifier le prix

Hotellet stämde inte alls överens med de bilder som fanns. Mycket lyhört, var som att peroner som gick förbi utanför stod inne i ens rum. Väldigt smala sängar 70 cm breda. Vänlig personal med kunde inte svara på några frågor för tjejen som jobbade i lobbin var inte från amsterdam.
