Fantastico , ottimo hotel,ottima locazione, ottimo servizio, lo consiglio a tutti

Il parthenon è un bell'hotel nella zona Acropoli, ad Atene. Consiglio vivamente questa zona a tutte le persone che vogliono visitare la città rimanendo fuori dal caos e dal traffico pur avendo tutto a pochi passi! L'hotel si trova infatti ad un passo da Metro (fermata ACropoli), da Acropoli, da museo dell'Acropoli e tempio di Zeus. In pochi minuti a […] piedi si potranno raggiungere anche le principali attrazioni e la piazza Syntagma! Riguardo all'hotel posso dire di aver trovato positivo il mio soggiorno e il rapporto qualità/prezzo è a mio avviso ottimo. Io avevo la camera 601, unica camera all'ultimo piano. La camera era l'unica senza servizio di connessione wifi gratuita(mi hanno offerto la possibilità di cambiare stanza o di utilizzare gratuitamente il loro terminale) ma avevo il grosso vantaggio di avere una stanza senza nessun vicino e con un bel terrazzo vista acropoli. LE camere anche se piccole avevano tutto.Tv,Frigobar ben fornito ed economico, the e caffè, letto spazioso e morbido, arredamento piacevole,tv schermo piatto (anche se non ho trovato canali italiani) Il bagno era di dimensioni medie e aveva una buona dotazione di prodotti da bagno, di teli e prodotti per rasatura. La stanza era molto pulita e ogni giorni i teli venivano cambiati e i prodotti da bagno utilizzati venivano sostituiti con quelli nuovi. La colazione era continentale ed era abbastanza abbondante e di qualità. Ottima scelta sulle bevande (Soprattutto thè)..buona per i dolci...discreta per il salato e poca frutta. Punto negativo era la pulizia nella zona colazione (tovaglie,tazze e tovaglioli) inoltre molti prodotti (miele, crema di cioccolato, confetture, yogurt) non erano in monodosi. Il personale dell'albergo era molto gentile e disponibile. Tornerei in questo hotel in una futura vacanza ad Atene. Continua a leggere

Fabulous hotel. Couldn't be better placed. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast the best. Would definately recommend this hotel to everyone. Will be staying there again when we return to Athens

We could not believe that it was a 4-star hotel when we got into our room: it was tiny, with old worn blankets and bath towels which were mere rags (frayed fringes and thin). In addition, the sink stoppers did not work and there were missing hangers in closet and missing cup from a holder in bathroom. Even my husband, who is usually not picky at all […] about hotel conditions, remarked that it was a 2-star place. We know that Greece is going through some tough economic times, but letting a place run down to such condition is just sad. The redeeming aspect of the hotel is that it is only one block from the new Acropolis museum, the Placa, and the Temple of Zeus. The breakfast buffet was also sumpteous. The hotel also gave each room a gift of sweet bread for Easter. They did try hard in their own ways:) Continua a leggere

Lovely hotel - have stayed in Athens before but would definately recommend the Parthenon to everyone. Great place for all types of travellers. Best breakfast and great staff. Will be coming back.

I totally recommend this hotel. Great location, many of the main attractions are within an easy walking distance and it is situated in a safe and quiet residential street. We were here in April and the street was lined with orange trees ladened with fruit - very pretty. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the Metro station, and very close to the Plaka […] and its vast choice of tourist shopping and restaurants. Not 4* by international standards but nonetheless good accomodation, reasonable room size, adequate bathroom with bath/shower and hairdryer and we found the bed comfortable. Hot and cold selection at breakfast - certainly enough choice to start off the day. The hotel has a coffee lounge/bar which is open until late and serves excellent coffee. Reception staff could not have been more helpful. All in all an excellent choice for seeing the city and excellent value for money. Continua a leggere

if you want location, this is the place! Located a one-minute walk from the akropoli metro station, and a two-minute walk from the capital's most cherished site and museum, this place is a find! Decent -sized rooms as well as very good breakfast, including specialties from various regions in the country. pretty much anything is findable within walking […] distance, including PLAKA. Right now, Greece is probablyl Europe's best budget buy for the american dollar, and probably will remain so for a while. while there is no concierge, staff at check-in speak english fluently, and are able and willing to give advice and directions. The hotel has a great location. Only a few minutes' walk to the Acropolis and Plaka. Easy access to the public transportation. Helpful staff.

Had a great stay, clean and reasonable sized rooms, staff very helpful and friendly. On pedestrian area a few minutes walk to museums, acropolis and great cafes and restaurants (Smiles is a few streets away and deserves its high rating). For the price and location I would recommend using this hotel.

The location and staff of Airotel Parthenon were excellent. Literally a minute from both the New Acropolis Museum and the Acropoli metro station - the area is safe at night [In Athens, always walk fast and keep hold of your bag & don't keep things in your pockets as a general rule]. The staff were always very sweet and helpful, staying up 24 hours to […] let you in way past midnight. The breakfast was a lovely selection of Greek bits and hot eggs, sausages and a variety of breads - I was particularly addicted to the Greek yellow milk and the carafe coffee rather than the latte/cappucino that you ask the waiter for. The only reason I did not give it all five *'s was that when I arrived my bathroom was not completely clean and I had to wipe down the WC seat. Make use of the locker in the room to store valuables and it is a + that you have wifi in your room! Thank you for a lovely stay, and I can't wait to return to Athens!!! Efharisto poly! We had a great experience at the Airotel Parthenon. They are just around the corner from the subway station and down the road from the Acropolis. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Giotta, one of the receptionists, was very helpful in giving us some Greek words to to say and telling restaurants to try out. The food for the buffet breakfast was […] excellent. They had a wide selection of food to choose from. The rooms were decent. We had our baby with us and they were able to provide a cot (playpen) for her to sleep in. Our room was cleaned everyday. This is 3star hotel by international standards. Major plus is location to acropolis and walking distance to other areas like Plaka and Monastariki areas. Athens was an amazing experience ,very surprised.

Right under Parthenon, yards away from metro station. Great service. Awesome breakfast. Comfortable room. Couldn't have asked for better deal.

The orange tree lined street provided an exotic setting. The hotel front desk staff is fluent in English and very helpful. The room was pleasant and clean. The included buffet breakfast offered many hot and cold options. The hotel's location - a couple of blocks from the metro station and the new acropolis museum and about ten blocks from the acropolis […] - is very convenient. Location in Athens is everything. This Hotel is situated in a safe, quiet street 100 metres from the Acropolis museum. Hotel lobby was helpful when I asked directions. Breakfast was very good. A really good value for money.

We arrived early and the room was available so we could check in before the normal check in time. The location is the best. Close to Acropolis, Acropolis metro stop, and the Plaka. Since the hotel is on a very narrow street the nearby Melina Mercouri statue was a perfect meeting spot for the tour bus group that picked us up.

On a quiet street, close to all the historic places, near to metro and tram stations, easy to get to the airport, clean, friendly staff, breakfast OK.

Excellent location, in the middle of attractions. They were very friendly. Breakfast was good.

The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is very close to the tourist spots like the Acropolis and various good restaurants.

The Airotel Parthenon is ideally located, reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. The desk staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious. You are a short walk from the metro and can save on a taxi from the airport by taking the metro there for 8 Euros. You can walk to everywhere you need to go from this spot. You are 3 minutes […] from the Acropois Museum and the first path up to the Acropolis. The Plaka is 100 yards away. Hotel was clean, well presented and the service was EXCELLENT. The staff were friendly and efficient and went out of there way to assist us especially during the strikes

This hotel was on a small side street so was quiet but close to the Plaka area for easy walking. Lots of small cafes very close by. The hop- on- hop-off bus was only 2 min walk. The staff was very helpful & friendly, the manager even let us leave our baggage there after our return from our Greek Island Cruise while we went to see more of Athens before […] going to the airport later that day. This hotel is ideally situated for walking in the Plaka, to the Acropolis and surrounding archeological sites, and to the New Acropolis Museum. It's a great location. The staff was also efficient, friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights, then picked up a car at Avis - right around the corner - for 3 nights in the country and returned to the hotel […] for our final night. We were able to leave luggage at the hotel during our absence for a very, very minimal fee. This was a great help since 4 adults were traveling with luggage. The hotel had a great location, only a block away from the Acropoli stop which is on the same line as the airport (assuming the metro isn't on strike). Also only about a 5 minute walk to the Acroplis or Temple of Zeus/Hadrian's Arch. There are quite a few souvenir shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is ideally located in the town centre within walking distance to a lot of the popular sights in Athens.The room is clean and well equipped and the bed is very comfortable. The service at front desk can be improved as the staff seems to be able only to deal with requests on a same day basis and is not able to make bookings for transport 2 days […] in advance. Also there is no supply of tissues in the bathroom,only toilet paper is available. The quality of the breakfast is reasonably good. Very much enjoyed our 3 day stay at this centrally located hotel. It was a perfect location to be in when there is a transit strike as all of the main attractions are accesssible by foot. Stayed at the Air Hotel Parthenon for 2 nights before our cruise. The hotel is close to many of the must see sights and the Plaka area. Breakfast is very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Parthenon Hotel was located within walking distances to all the most see things. This included the Acropolis, Plaka and resturant district, Syntagma Square, Monateraki. It was convenient to public transport as it was around the corner from the Metro, bus stops and the on-off sight seeing bus. The staff were extremely friendly. A fabulous location […] for the price. The place is in great location. The lady who assisted us was the nicest person we have met in Greece to date. The taxi's were on strike and we needed a ride to our next hotel. She contacted a person to pick us up the next day. She went out of her way to help us out. That was worth the stay alone.

Loved our 4 night stay at this hotel. The man on reception was friendly very helpful and professional. Breakfast was great, bacon eggs,cereal ,coffee the works. Easy to get to from airport. Go to Acropolis station and hotel short walk around corner. The Acropolis and Parthenon ancient ruins only 5 mins walk away. Hotel price very reasonable. The neighborhood and loccation are excellent. 2 short blocks from metro station, new acropolis museum which is a must see, and plaka. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Hotel very clean. Rooms, although a bit small, are actually large for a 3 star European hotel. Staff extremely accomodating. Only negative is perhaps the rooms are a little worn and […] could use a little sprucing up. I thought this hotel was great for the price. It was located close to the metro, the Parthenon and the Plaka. There were resturants all around ,which I felt safe as a mother walking around with my 10 year old daughter. I found the hotel clean, staff very helpful , room comfy and the breakfast yummy. I would go back for another short stay.

This hotel is worth the money. Great location. Super staff. I was pick-pocketed on the metro and the staff immediately helped me cancel my credit cards. Very nice room. Great breakfast. Would stay here again.

We had no problems with this hotel. Very safe area and conveniently located, close to the Acropolis and may good cafes and restaurants.

The hotel has the best location that you can hoped for. It is 3 min. walking distance to Acropolis museum and to the gate of Parthernon. It is few minutes walk to the "Plaka" where you can chosse to eat in many restaurants there, not too expensive and good value if you like greek food.
