The friendly staff and the great view make this a good place to stay. The room was very comfortable, though not spacious. Breakfast (extra charge) was adequate, but not spectacular. We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel as staff were friendly and helpful, hotel has beautiful views, large sized swimming pool and well priced buffet breakfast. recommended.

I booked a last minute discounted room for a one night visit. Hotel all ok and saff helpful. Why then - given the hotel was less than 50% full to stick me in a back room facing the carpark. I was not expecting a fantastic room and it was discounted however it does not nake me wish to return to a Mercure? It would not have been difficult to choose a […] nicer room - many many available and make a fuss of it to seek return custom. What did they have to lose? malheureusement, pas trop de choix à Saint Denis. C'est à mon avis ce qu'il y a de mieux (par défaut ?). Très correct dans l'ensemble. Personnel très agréable. Seul hic, la lenteur de la connexion internet.

Personnel agréable et serviable. Emplacement idéal, les pieds dans l'eau et à 2 pas de Gosier centre ville. Chambre propre et tout à fait correct. Seul bémol les peintures et état général des parties communes mais en rénovation.

Chambre très petite Sanitaires viellots, à moderniser.

The hotel is one of the more well known in St. Dennis. We took a taxi to the hotel, we however got a shuttle (free) back to the airport so it can be worth checking in advance if they can pick you up at the airport. Staff was friendly and some quite fluent in English which was helpful. The room was simple but effective. Only problem was the showerhead […] which was semi-broken and producing an incredible noise when showering. Breakfast is expensive at 15€ per person, so it's worth stacking up some food and put in in your room fridge. The main problem with this hotel is its location far from the center which without a rental car is a nightmare. Although there are buses and the hotel provide a free shuttle 3-4 times a day, they all stop around 7 pm. And the restaurants in town do not serve dinner until 7.30 pm. That means you're stuck having to eat at the hotel's restaurant unless you're willing to pay 20-25€ for a taxi if eating in the town center. So my advice is to make a booking for a rental car early (before you arrive in Reunion) because they were all fully booked(!) the week we were there, and without it, getting around in Reunion will be very painful. L'accès de l'hotel est un peu difficile à cause de la hauteur, mais cette difficulté est vite oublié une fois sur place grâce à l'environnement et le panorama. L'établissemnt dispose de belles installations: lobby, restaurant, pisicne, les amateurs de tennis auraient été comblés s'il y avait des courts. Nous avons été dans le studio pour 4 adultes,sur […] deux pièces principales, mais le téléphone et la télévision ne sont accessibles que dans l'une des pièces, ne serait-il pas possible d'étendre cette accessibilité aux deux chambres.. Enfin, on aeu du problème au niveau de l'accès à l'internet: impossible dans la chambre et difficile dans lle lobby; il n'y a que la terrasse située autour de la piscine qui peut donner des résultats encore non satisfaisants car intermittents.
