Room is exceptionally clean, service as always was fantastic. Room was a little small, could have used a second chair. A great place to stay while in the Berkshires!!!

Our room -- bedroom and bath -- was spotless and cozy, the innkeepers were friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Very centrally located just south of Downtown Pittsfield. Would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely hosts providing super breakfast. Comfortable room but noise from road due to location. Pittsfield not the most picturesque of towns but convenient for touring, Lennox and Stockbridge where there are nice restaurants and buildings only short drive away, Shaker museum only 15mins away and worth a visit

Gary and John are both kind and helpful hosts! They gave good and informative tips on dining, local attractions and even directions. The rooms were homey, comfortable, clean and quiet. The morning breakfasts were tasty and satisfying! Well done all around...and in a good location - not too far from any area attraction...Thank you!

This was one of the best Bed and Breakfast stays we've ever had. Our room was huge- tastefully decorated with a fireplace, separate seating area and a private bathroom. We also had a king sized bed! The owners are very friendly and welcoming and they make a delicious breakfast. Breakfast is served in a lovely sun room or outside overlooking a back garden. "The White Horse Inn - close to Jacob's Pillow, etc"
We very much appreciated the excellent location and friendly service of this well-managed B&B. Our room was spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. It's only detraction was that it was rather dark, being on the shaded side of the house. However, my opinion may be biased because it was a rainy and gloomy day. The breakfast room is very pleasant and […] looks onto the back yard. There was a choice of a hot breakfast (a delicious quiche) and/or fruit, cereal, breakfast breads. The location is excellent: a 15-minute drive to Lenox, Tanglewood, Shakespeare & Co., and approximately 30 minutes to Jacob's Pillow. The inn is right on Route 20, so there is some traffic noise through the night. That was not objectionable to us. I think it would be nice if the inn provided a larger bath towel or an additional towel per guest to be used as a hair or face towel. "Great place to stay in the Berkshires."
Had a great time. Large, comfortable room, with nice private bath. Very accomodating owners; great breakfasts, close to everything. We used it as a base to visit surrounding Berkshire areas. Wife and I are already of thinking of going back next summer.

We weren't sure because this had availability when many others did not, in nearby Great Barrington and Lenox. It was actually very nice and the innkeepers were friendly and laid back. We had a delightful experience when staying at the White House Inn. Our room was large and comfortable. Breakfast in the enclosed terrace was enjoyable. Our discussions with innkeeper provided interesting details about the region.

Sometimes you come across a hotel that is nice, clean and above average. The reason is simple--the care you are given. Our stay was made special because of the owners--they visited, talked, shared the story of their home and made us comfortable. We want thank them for their hospitality.

This is one of the best B&B experiences we've had. Our room was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed and new bathroom. There were sitting rooms on our floor (2nd) and on the main floor. The cheerful dining room overlooked a nice deck that contained tables and chairs. The Innkeepers were first rate and dedicated to serve you. The first morning, […] they mapped out a walking path for me. They made dining suggestions. And they were great conversationalists. Breakfasts were outstanding. We enjoyed our stay and breakfast was delicious (fritatta, fruit, and toast). We were able to eat out on the deck overlooking the beautiful gardens. I was surprised though to find the room somewhat sparse and there were no individual soap/shampoo/conditioners or other goodies in the bathroom.
