This hotel has slowly gone downhill over the years. I think the fact that it's right on main street above the bars is the only reason it's still open. I will say that the hotel staff was great. The room itself was a little scary, the floor was warped with very noticeable dips in it. One of the towels in the bathroom still had hair on it from what I […] can only guess was the previous guest. One of the guys with us had to have his room changed because of how dirty it was. With all that being said I was up there for a night out with friends from back in college and it suited my needs as a place to just rest my head at the end of the night. the hotel was crawling with partying people, at one point the elevator opened and a table and chairs were inside. not a family place.

This hotel despite the pool being closed for renovations is close to 4 bars with drinks and dancing that the price is so low, that you are able to enjoy all the bars in one night. Nothing wrong here, but old non updated room with burnholes in the comforter, and and old tired bed.

Its a comfortable old fashioned hotel. Don't expect a lot. They do give you, shampoo, toothpaste and a shower cap. No microwave or frige in the room. The beds are comfortable and the location is great. The pool is close so don't bring your bathing suit

the pool was down for months,the continental breakfast a shame,the reception terrible.the only good was the rooms were clean and the maids did a very good job,they said it will be renovated in october but i doubt it.the natives of the town were not friendly to tourists.the location was perfect a lot of bars,shops,starbucks,dunkin,highway 2 blocks a […] way. We arrived at about 10:30pm and only spent the night, but it seemed like it was very nice for the price. The pool wasn't full, but that didn't matter to us since we were only passing through on our way to Bushkill Falls. The staff was very friendly. The hotels was serious outdated. Needs, to be remodelled. Once hotel is updated it might a 2 to 3 stars!!!

The front desk personnel (believe manager) was not very hospitable. I did not appreciate the ridiculous fees such as: He stated I would receive a $250 fine for smoking. When, in fact, I reserved a non-smoking room. He made me sign a form for smoking, so the hotel would be able to charge for this smoking fee. The Pocono Inne Town Magnuson was a nice play to stay in a cool little town in the Pocono Mtns.

This is an Old hotel , but very nice if you like the plain things in life .

I wasnt expecting much and I didnt get much, which is ok. Price is fair, so I have no complains for it. I was looking for a bed downtown and thats what I got.

A mom and pop operation trying to look like a reputable chain. Not the best employees, and poor condition of rooms. The owners need to step up and make some significant investment.

I wasn't expecting anything great but this place was pretty pathetic and desperately needs to be gutted and renovated. One thing people should know there is no pool or hot tub. They are empty and according to the staff will not be fixed till all the room are fixed. The room felt really dirty and there were hairs in the bathtub. I checked if there were […] hairs in the sheets, fortunately there where none but I removed the tired looking bedspread immediately. The tile in the bathroom was broken. The wall paper in the hall is peeling. This is the kind of room that is for sleeping only... If that were only possible. The walls are so thin that you can't sleep if someone in the room next to you is having a conversation. The only good things about the hotel was that the staff was very nice and there is free wifi. the wireless intertet worked great

For anyone wanting a hotel right in the middle of downtown East Stroudsburg, this is the place! Located right above two bars and comfortable walking distance from at least 4 others, it's a great place to stay if you don't want to worry about the drive home. There are also wonderful places to eat located among this strip as well. The room was typical […] of this sort of hotel (it used to be a Best Western) but everything was clean and comfortable. One of the front desl people were rude. There was a big stain on the rug and it seems the room had not been updated in a LONG time. I would NOT go back to this hotel.

The clerk was rude!!! the bed was not comfortable and the carpet had stains on the floor. Very Gross!!! and I don't get grossed .
