Il Shibuya Tobu Hotel si è rivelato OTTIMO, in una posizione eccezionale, relativamente economico ma di fascia medio/alta. Camera piccola ma funzionale (in una città come Tokyo la camera server per dormire e basta), bagno pulito e in stile giapponese. Molto tranquillo di notte, nonostante il luogo in cui si trova (a meno di 500 metri ci sono le discoteche più frequentate di Tokyo e uno degli incroci più trafficati del Mondo). E' assolutamente antisismico (testato sul campo visto che c'è stata una scossa di terremoto di 5.6 che quasi non si è sentita). Mi sento di raccomandarlo a chiunue voglia fare una vacanza unica, il quartiere di Shibuya è il cuore di Tokyo e si possono trovare centinaia di ristoranti, bar, locali, negozi e grandi magazzini per tutte le tasche. A+++++++

Camere piccole (singola) ma e' lo standard giapponese. Ottima posizione vicinissimo alla stazione metro, in un quartiere molto tranquillo.ottimo rapporto qualita'/prezzo

Nel complesso, tornassi a Tokyo credo che vi soggiornerei ancora. Molti ristoranti e family marker aperti 24h nelle immediate vicinanze. Unica pecca:telefonata alle 12 per sapere se pulire la stanza(e io magari dormivo) e niente wi-fi in camera, solo LAN ....

Tutto ottimo, grande cortesia ed aiuto nella "soluzione dei problemi" anche di carattere personale. Ottimo Inglese, ottima colazione a buffet. Unico "neo" :la camera singola, oltre ad essere poco spaziosa e priva di armadio odorava di fumo di sigaretta. Grande vantaggio:il bus navetta che dall'aeroporto di Narita porta direttamente davanti all'albergo e viceversa.Ottima la zona vicinissima al Forum internazionale e piena di shopping centers e ristoranti.

La posizione è estremamente comoda perchè a piedi si può arrivare nella via principale di Ginza, alla stazione del treno e alla metro (linea principale). il personale è estremamente disponibile. le camere sono un po' piccole ma hanno tutti i comfort. si sente un po' il treno che passa difronte ma lo stesso vale per il dai-ichi hotel. intorno all'albergo ci sono molti ristoranti.

In questa area a confine della parte nordoccidentale di Ginza si trovano hotel eleganti e una buona selezione di piccoli ristoranti. Spettacolari di per sé, gli hotel comprendono il complesso New Otani, che vanta un giardino un tempo proprietà di un reggente Tokugawa, e l'ANA Hotel Tokyo, dove è possibile ammirare un panorama paragonabile solo a quello offerto dalla torre di Tokyo.

this hotel is better than what I expect. I booked both single and twin room for my colleagues and they were all very happy with my choice. location is very convenient, right across the subway station and only a few stops away from Harajuku and Shibuya. a number of cafes and restaurants nearby so getting breakfast or dinner is a breeze. "Great place"
Right across the street from the subway station. Close to lots of bars and restuarants. Clean hotel with firm beds (most beds in Japan are hard). No complaints. Great value.

I am particular about hotel and my choice of Akasaka Excel Tokyu Hotel was a fantastic choice. It is not too far from key attractions in Ginza, Shibuya or Shinjiku - 3-4 stops away. 5 subway lines serve the station which is only 1 min walk from hotel. The area is quiet so you don't get the noise in the night. The 7 Eleven store in the lobby is convenient. […] There are wonderful Japanese restaurants in Tokyu Plaza connected to hotel. Tully's right next door is convenient breakfast venue. MacDonald's is across the road. You don't always get spacious rooms in Japan. This hotel has spacious rooms with baths. "Great hotel with metro across the road"
This hotel was very comfortable and the service was amazing. The Akasaka-Mitsuke metro is directly across the road which made travelling around Tokyo very easy. There are lots of nice restaurants around the area and it is quiet at night for such a busy road. I would happily stay there again.

This is my first time stayed in this hotel and the hotel is very clean and comfort with berth good courtesy staff who are always very helpful for any questions. The room is clean, comfort and spacious. It is just opposite to a metro train station which is very convenience for access to any of the sightseeing location or shopping areas. Wifi is avaiable […] around the whole hotel building which is very convenience for tourist to access to the Internet using their smartphone or tablet as these are recently very common when compare with LAN connection using laptop. Just because my room is near to the main road therefore at night even the windows are all closed you still can hear some traffic noise which might be areas for improvement but to me not a big deal. Highly recommend this place. Very clean rooms nice American style bathrooms. Free wireless internet throughout the hotel. Lots of to eat near by.

"Ideal location for solo female traveler"
I picked this hotel for location -- right across subway station, and no worry coming back to hotel late at night. In spite of closeness to subway station and busy street, my room was quiet. Bathroom is a bit small, but overall my 4-night stay was very pleasant and convenient (post office, banks and McDonald are within a block).

Perfectly fine hotel for the price I paid. I would stay at the hotel ONLY if wifi becomes available in a room. There was wired LAN available in each room, but it ofcourse doesn't work with smartphones or iPad.

got a great deal on hotels.com...rooms were a lot better than my first stay... restuarant on site was very expensive but with mcdonalds and kryspie Kreme donuts right across the stree. u can save hundreds eating over there.. there is a mall in hotel an first three floors..and over 10 restuarants on the property. location is in short taxi ride to shopping […] clubs or markets and restuarants.. Excellent walking distance from train station. Close to the restaurants and shops. Extremely clean hotel. Large room with a we had a nice view of the park. Staff are very attentive and courteous. Excellent value! The only thing is there was no milk for the coffee :)
"Horrible Noise"
On the surface, everything was OK. I seriously needed a good night's sleep but there was a horrible noise from the refrigerator all night long. Usually fridge noise goes away after a few minutes but this got worse through the night and the plug was unreachable. As a result my day's plans the next day were ruined as a result of no sleep. "Excellent Value"
For those looking for 4 star hotels at a 3 star price - this is it. well located in Akasaka across from the subway station (marunouchi line and 2 others). It has nice restaurants - and great breakfast buffet. The rooms were all renovated last year and they are nice. Not huge - but still nice.
Location of Asakasa Excel Hotel Tokyu is very good as it is opposite to subway (ginza and marunoshi lines) which is very convenient for us to travel around Tokyo. Also, there are a lot of eating places surrounding the hotel such as McDonald, KrispyKream, Godiva, Tully's Coffee and many japanese restaurants. Moderate twin room is O.K. in size (around […] 22sqm). It is new and very clean. Service is very good as I asked for an extra blanket during the night time and got it within 5 mintues. "Vey good location hotel and value for money"
This hotel is very convenience located just across the street to the sub way. The airport bus stop is right in front of the hotel and the hotel staff will help you to load up the luggage. Very good service.

The location is good. However disappointed because we had reserved 3 rooms and they had given us rooms on different floors. Was told at the reception that no choice since fully booked. A lot of problem for us as we are travelling with 3 young children. The room is small but I guess this is Tokyo.

Good value in Akasaka or anywhere in Tokyo. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable, good LAN connection for Internet in the room and free, but no WiFi (available only in lobby). The location is great, close to Metro, lots of good places to eat within short walking distance. Best options for meals are outside the hotel.

Service and staff was prompt and professional. Our stay was during golden week and I hadn't exchanged any currency at the airport. After finding out that banks and post offices are closed during this time, I thought I would only be able to use the ATM for cash. Luckily this hotel does currency exchange at the front desk, so I was able to use the cash […] I had brought with me. The hotel is located across the street from Akasakamitsuke station, so you can quickly get to all of Tokyo this way. The hotel is also attached to a 7-eleven on the first floor (there's a Visa ATM there). The rooms are immaculate and the internet access is fast and complimentary. 赤坂の繁華街に近いことはもちろんですが、国会議事堂、皇居、神宮外苑に近く足を延ばせば代々木公園とジョギングを楽しむのに快適な立地です。スカイツリーのある押切付近も半蔵門線で一本で行けます。

客房很乾淨舒適，地鐵站超便利，往返機場也有shuttle bus可抵達。雖然離逛街的鬧區比較遠，但是如果喜歡寧靜小區的人應該會喜歡這裡。
