Room was unclean - we found a fake eyelash in the bed and an upside down bucket of garbage right outside our door ( we did not check the type of garbage because we feared it might have been vomit).

"Good location"
This hotel was conveniently located to all services, however could be a little tricky to find. A GPS solves that problem. The only thing I didn't like was that there was a smell of smoke on the first floor hallways .. I guess there was a smoking area somewhere in the hotel .. Pool was under repairs too .. Overall it was fine

The floor wasn't vaccumed. It was broken. The ck in time was different fr the site, an hr later. The pool was down Saturday. We booked our rooms side by side, not. It was a family event and we were all over the inn.

vERY NICE AND FRIENDLY PLACE. I AM A SENIOR ON A CANE AND DIDN'T REALIZE THERE WASN'T ANY ELEVATOR WHEN I BOOKED MY STAY. THE NEIGHBOUR WAS NOISY, BUT THAT CAN BE EXPECTED IN ANY CITY, THE HOTEL ITSELF WAS A VERY NICE PLACE, VERY NICE STAFF, GOOD FOOD, CLEAN AND VERY REASONABLE. AS LONG AS I CAN GET UP THE STIRS iWILL CERTAINLY STAY AGAIN.

"Close to malls but poor service from staff"
Great location for malls. Some restaurants close in Dartmouth crossing. Room quality fair. Holes in linens and clumPed hair in tub drain. Cleaning staff on certain occasions rude. Breakfast was included but not greatest food service was fast We were an hour late for checkout and got charged an extra night. Called to inquire got transferred to manager […] left several messages and have not gotten a return phone call. Overall, you get what you pay for and this was a cheap deal. "Days Inn"
Nice reception and staff. Room had a funky smell to it, had beer caps on the floor, also had old gum stains on the carpet. Most of the furniture was is rough shape, and mattress was full of stains. Bathroom was gross. There was an extremely fowl smell in the hallway. The hot tub at the pool was full of grime and smelled bad. I wouldn't stay there again […] if they paid me. Continua a leggere

everything was good for a hotel that includes a pool, the price was good ,service great, close to a tim hortons(always important). Only negative thing was the hotel restaurant,poor food and service, I recommend for anyone to stay there just go out to eat if your hungry or bring take out or have it delivered.

my stay at the darmouth days inn wasnt as good as i thought it would be. drove from saint john to halifax to find out that i didnt really have the room i wanted. booked a smoking room. then finally they get me a smoking room on the last night and the floor was soaked. air condition was leaking water and for quite awhile. maintance came quick and fixed […] it but didnt make up for the fact the floor was still soaked. "Down and out in Dartmouth"
I would not stay at this hotel again. The hotel has no elevator for the 2nd floor, the pool area had no towels in it and the internet was like dial up. The surrounding area was not a place I would want to walk at night and the person who was to set up the complimentory breakfast did not show up. I suggest paying more money and staying in Halifax

"Good hotel, really bad breakfast"
The hotel and staff were good but the continental hotel was not nearly as good as it should be. Eggs, toast and bacon was all and none of them very good. Except for that, the gym was very basic but fit its role. The room itself was adequate. The fact that the bridge was very close was good but the toll was a little annoying.

Stayed on the second floor but there was no elevator so getting luggage up and down was challenging. Lovely pool.

Our first room looked ok. Not fancy, but we didn't expect that. We found some ants on the desk and discovered spilled pop in the drawer that had a few ants around it. I cleaned up the mess. In the morning my husband and I discovered we were sharing the bed with several ants. We were put into a second room. The bathroom was not cleaned as I would expect […] it to be. There was caked-on fiflth on the top of the baseboards and back splash. The AC wouldn't stay on. The pillows were very small and I wondered if they were for children. Breakfast was included, but we never got it on any of our three mornings there. The dining room had a couple tables that were occupied the every single other table was piled with dishes and half eaten food--every morning! We couldn't park in the lot on one of the nights; we had to park in an adjoining parking lot. They didn't have a fitted sheet on the bed and I move around a lot when I sleep. I woke up several times through the nights because I had pulled the sheet out and was laying directly on the mattress, which I found disgusting. Also, the sheets were horrible; so thin I could see through them. I wasn't expecting a great deal out of this hotel, but I was expecting more than this. We have previously stayed at a Days Inn in QC and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff I interacted with were very efficient and professional. was a nice hotel, clean, pool was clean and warm, hotel staff very nice and accommodating, location near mall only a quick cab drive away, the roomservice was good, although the breakfast in the morning (continental) was lacking.. all in all was a good stay!!

"Clean and Easy"
We needed a reasonable room before an early flight, and being unfamiliar with the city, wanted to be in a safe part of town with easy access in and out. I have to admit, the couple blocks driving off the interstate to the hotel was mildly run-down, and the outside of the building wasn't the most glistening. However, it was super clean inside, definitely […] NOT a bad area of town as we felt more than safe. Furthermore, an easy trip across the river to enjoy an evening in Halifax, and then a VERY convenient jump onto the interstate the next morning to get to the airport. Could not have asked for more. "not too close but not too far away to halifax"
Close to the highway and bridge into Halifax, there's a restaurant/bar next door if you don't want to drive, close to the micmac mall, but otherwise, you're right off the hwy. We didn't hear any traffic from our room. The free breakfast is 2 eggs, 2 toast and 2 bacon and coffee or juice. anything else is extra, but reasonable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were allowed to check in early as one of us was not feeling well. Room was very comfortable and clean. We ate dinner in the dining room and found it to be the poorest meal we had the whole time we were in Nova Scotia. We had a 2-room suite (room 410) which was huge - 11 windows. Very clean, comfortable and very high in value. Breakfast took a long time but was free, so who is to complain. Close to major highway with easy access. We would stay there again definitely.

We found the staff were exceptional at the Days Inn Dartmouth. Very friendly and kind, they answered our questions thoroughly, even when we called from our room. Even the restaurant staff were cheerful and friendly - and this was first thing on a Saturday morning!! The room was well cleaned, was well insulated any sounds, including the nearby highway. […] Very comfy. Slept very well! The beds feel like new. Fresh free breakfast from the restaurant was really nice. Also dog friendly. Situated a minute from the highway for easy access to airport, or cross the bridge in 2 more minutes to be in Halifax. We stayed one night at this hotel. Breakfast was included with the room, so we assumed it would be a buffet-style breakfast. Much to our dismay, there was only one option for our meal: bacon, eggs and toast. So what about my boyfriend who can't eat eggs? Since no substitutions were allowed, his breakfast consisted of two small pieces of bacon and two […] slices of bread. Seriously? Not even pancakes or French toast as options? Needless to say, our meal was far from satisfactory... and it didn't help that the waitress was dressed in jeans and her service lacked quality. the staff were veryt helpful and did there best to keep us comfortable. thank you all i did a mistake in my booking dates -lost one day- and hotel.com and hotel staff fixed it very fast without any extra payment,aagain it was my own mistake but still they were very cooperative and understood my situation.
"Nice exterior, pleasant staff, one bad room"
The staff was very pleasant and helpful, the exterior of the hotel was well maintained, but the room we had was not good - literally threadbare couch, dated furnishings, lumpy bed.... Perhaps it was the last room in the hotel to be remodeled, but I was not impressed, at all.

The Days Inn is a nice hotel. It's clean, it's moderately priced and it's not far from downtown Halifax (about 15 minutes drive). The staff is way nice but the things we really liked: Free Wi Fi. "Excellent value"
We found the rooms to be clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. My husband used the exercise room which was adequate for a 20 min workout. Hot breakfast in the hotel restaurant was included in the room rate. We found the location, just outside of Halifax, to be convenient. Easy access to major highways.
