Hotel in buona posizione, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. In periferia, in zona tranquilla e ben servita dai mezzi pubblici per raggiungere il centro. Personale cortese e disponibile. Appena arrivati abbiamo riscontrato un problema con lo scarico del lavandino in camera ma è stato prontamente risolto dal servizio manutenzione.

Le camere sono molto ampie, sono praticamente dei miniappartamenti con letto, soggiorno ed angolo cottura completo e funzionale. Il centro e' un po' lontano, ma comodissimo da raggiungere con il tram T1 che ferma a 200 metri dall'hotel.

Ci sono molte cose positive da dire: Tutti giorni vengono a pulire la stanza, ti cambiano gli asciugamani, nella terraza c' è una panoramica esplendida di tutta Barcellona (si sei nei ultimi piani), ti danno gli asciugamani per la piscina che è abbastanza grande, la palestra, il bagno turco, l'idromassaggio, la zauna sono impeccabili. Veramente […] non mi aspettavo tanto di questo hotel, considerando che ha 3 stelle. Ci sono solamente due cose negative che ho da dire di questo hotel: 1. Nel reglamento generale dice che la piscina è aperta fino al 31 settembre. Io ho voluto fare il bagno entro il 16 ed il 25 Settembre e mi hanno detto che la manutenzione era già finita da qualche giorno. Cosa che non mi ha gradita!!! 2. Solo c' è un'unica persona nella reception tutti giorni a qualunque ora. Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo dovuto aspettare la registrazione di più di 30 persone che erano in gruppo. E non era coincidenza perché durante i 10 giorni che siamo stati nell'hotel sempre è stato cosi. Continua a leggere

Consiglio questo hotel a chi non ha problemi a girare con i mezzi pubblici bus e metro. il metrò dista una mezz'oretta dall'albergo e si chiama "Maria Cristina". iIl bus che bisogna prendere per spostarsi in metro è il 7878, la fermata dell'autobus rimane davanti all'albergo. buon viaggio a tutti!!

Negativo: pulizia lascia desiderare (in 4 giorni i pavimenti non sono stati mai lavati!). Positivo: Facilmente raggiungibile coi mezzi di trasporto pubblici. Camere triple spaziose, con angolo cucina.

Discreta struttura, dotata di una buona piscina e di una ottima sala palestra, ampie le camere, personale disponibile e gentile, peccato che la pulizia delle camere non è al livello della struttura.

Ottimo compromesso, per chi desidera un po di tranquillita in albergo a differenza della vita caotica della città, un po distante dal centro, ma in una zona tranquilla, ben collegata con i mezzi. Personale molto gentile e professionale.

Sinceramente mi sono trovato molto bene. Nella camera sono presenti tutti i servizi: tv sat, cucina, aria condizionata, cassaforte.. il bagno è spazioso e attrezzato anche per disabili. Per chi non vuole usare la cucina in camera nella struttura c'è anche il ristorante.Alla reception sono sempre disponibli. L'unico difetto, se si può chiamare così, […] è dato dal fatto che dista circa 13 Km dal centro di Barcellana; io avevo la mia auto perciò non ho avuto problemi. We stayed here for 8 nights prior to a cruise. Although this hotel is located in Sant Joan Despi (about 7KM/4miles) outside of Barcelona, it is extremely well connected to the city. See below for transit info. Internet is free but very slow and limited to about 60bits per second down and less up. However, it is more than sufficient for VoIP calling. […] All rooms come with a minifridge, stove top and microwave but no dishes or cutlery?! Not sure if the front desk provides this at request or not but odd that there is nothing provided in room. Rooms come with two double beds (no queen/king option) but works for "spooners". ;) Overall a good experience and the front desk is helpful/speak fantastic English. TRANSIT INFO: As I can't list prices, SUPER CHEAP will get you from the hotel to Barcelona city centre or anywhere else you want to go (with pass). Take bus 77 (50m from the hotel doors) to the subway L4 or L5 (15-20minutes). Subway to downtown will take 20-25 minutes more. Transfers are free on subway/tram/bus all within 1hr15minutes when using a pass. TRANSIT PASS: Best thing to do is purchase a T-10 pass (10 uses of up to 75minutes each). This means 5 trips downtown (or wherever) and 5 trips back for next to nothing. In comparison, one cab ride from hotel to city centre is about two T-10 passes. It was a good hotel if the distance from the centrum doesn't bother you.

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and was perfect for us as there was kitchen with fridge and microwave and a good grocery shop very close to the hotel. Our rooms was very large than expected and was very clean. Only problems we faced is the noise from neighbouring rooms. I recommend this hotel for anyone who dont mind spending some 20min - 30min […] for reaching main attractions in main city using public transport. (10-15 min with car). Continua a leggere

This hotel is located in outer ring of barcelona. So it takes over 40 minutes get to the downtown(pl. de catalunya) by public transport, by taxi its probably 20mins. To get to downtown you can take a tram and change to a metro, that is the easiest and most convenient way... Camp nou is near so if you are going to see BARCAs match this hotel is a good […] option. You can take a tram to the Camp Nou(about 10min). If you are only staying for couple of nights in Barcelona this hotel might be too far a way from Barcelona city center... Continua a leggere

There was a small kitchen but nothing to cook with, no pans or dishes.

The hotel was decent. It is not as good as it looks in the pictures but that is to be expected in any place. Though the hotel is not in the heart of the city it is easy to commute. The metro station is close and the staff are very helpful in guiding you to the city. The gym/work out area is really good and the swimming pool looked good though it was […] too cold to take a swim. Upon arrival the staff were 'adequate'. They were efficient, polite and fluent in English, but I wouldn't describe them as particularly welcoming. Analogous to using an ATM or something :) The job got done quickly and effectively but didn't leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling :) The room was massive for the amount paid; far bigger than expected. Easily […] space for four or even five to stay in comfort. The main bed was two doubles pushed together (which could be separated), with a further single bed in the living area. The room had a safe which was nice as we were staying two nights and meant we could explore the city without carrying all our valuables on us. The bathroom was clean and effective although we would have preferred a solid shower screen rather than a curtain. The hotel had secure under-ground parking as a chargeable extra which gave us peace of mind travelling by motorbike. The room had cooking facilities, although no crockery at all was provided (presumably one has to ask for it at reception, or supply your own). The hotel had a direct bus route right outside the door into the heart of the city and beach which was very very cheap (by UK standards at least), although it's quite a long journey. Allow over an hour to wait for the bus and arrive in the city centre, and the same again coming back to the hotel. The hotel restaurant offered expected levels of sustenance at reasonable rates for three courses, but don't expect to be blown away (or blown out!) by it. Think 'minimalist' rather than 'hearty meal'. Certainly not poor in terms of quality or value, just nothing special or particularly memorable. Our biggest issue with the overall experience was (what I assume to be) the air conditioning system. The hallway outside the room had many damp, mouldy patches in the ceiling that were dripping on the floor leaving puddles and stains on the (tiled) floor. OK if you're aware of it, but you wouldn't want to step in it barefoot, or have it drip on your head. Continua a leggere

I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone. The information regarding travel time to the City is misleading. It took an hour and a half travel time to Catalunya and one tram and a metro and 29 stops to reach the city centre. The staff at the Hotel are unfriendly and unhelpful. Our first encounter on arrival was to ask if there was a nearby shop to purchase […] water and was simply told " No shop! " The internet is not free and it is charged at an astronomical amount of 3 euro per 15 minutes!! The swimming pool is surrounded by 4blocks of apartments with no sun. The apartment we stayed in had no cooking utensils or crockery not even so much as a cup. We had to buy paper plates and cups! A large insect was in the room for the three nights we stayed and it made noises at night was black in colour and an inch and a half long. I rang the reception desk to report this and was told the porter was on his own but would be up at change of shift or he could leave it for the maid to put poison down the next morning. The night porter was on a no show on this occasion leaving me to again call to the desk at midnight to report the same. It was suggested to me to again leave it until the following morning when a room change would be offered. At this point I informed the staff this was a most unpleasant stay and was very stressfull as we couldnt sleep in the room and I was going to check out and find alternative accomodation. I rang Hotels.com who were very helpful and understanding and explained the unsatisfactory and unpleasant conditions. On checking out I was charged 10 euro for this call by the hotel staff. We had booked this Hotel for a week but left after 3 sleepless and stressfull nights. Very disappointing stay and almost ruined our entire holiday. Thankfully Hotels.com were there to save the day . Close easy drive into Barcelona (if you have a car). Huge room, stove, sitting area, balcony. There is another 4 star Hesperia right down the street, this isn't that one, a little older, less fancy, but stilly plenty nice and acessible for a trip into Barcelona.

Trade off for cheap price is distant location. The hotel is fine and the desk staff is very helpful, but to get to downtown Barcelona you need to take a tram and then transfer to a subway/metro which takes half an hour, or spend 20 Euros/$30 on a taxi. You're about one-third of the way in from the airport. So, if you taxi to the hotel, and then into […] town, you're taxi is about what it would cost to go from the airport to downtown Barcelona, but you're saving a lot on the hotel. So, the hotel is a bargain, but you need to know where you'll be, and that there is no restaurant you'd want in that neighborhood.. Continua a leggere

I got a very good price with Hotel.com . I stayed for 7 days and the hotel is 3 starts. Very clean and the people are very nice and helpful. It is very close to the Tramvia and the bus across the street. So you can move around very easy. The ticket for both is 1.45 EUROS. If you want to go to Las Ramblas, and Catalunya you need to take the Tram T3 to […] Maria Cristina and take the subway to Las Ramblas or Plaza Catalunya. The restaurant is next door and you can reserve a buffet for 8.40 euros. The only inconvenience is having to spend 40 minutes to the main attractions. I recommended Continua a leggere

The Hotel was OK--a 7 on a ggod day. Unfortunately, the hotel was quite a distance from downtown and the sights of Barcelona. A cab ride was expensive, but the alternative was a long trolley ride to the metro. The staff was polite but not overly helpful. Although the suite had a kitchen, there were no utensils, dishes,,pots/pans or glassware.

We stayed here to be near Barcelona but not in it. The room are big enough for 4 people to sleep comfortably. There is a bus stop right out side of the hotel that takes you to the center of the city and a taxi stand. Would recommend again to anyone wanting a quiet stay near the city but not in it.

We had a rented car so the location did not really bother us. in fact it was good that the hotel was just outside of Barcelona. The hotel rate was certainly attractive. The pantry came in handy. Room was comfortable and spacious.

hotel room was surprisingly big, more like an apartment, and it was really cheap too. there was even a stove in the room....but it's not really necessary, as the best meal i had in barcelona was actually at the hotel's restaurant the first night in -- it was very reasonably priced as well (although if you're not accustomed to it, dinner in barcelona […] is served very late). the view from the room was great as well. the only bad thing about the hotel is that it is pretty far from downtown barcelona (catalunya square). there is one tramvia (T3 tram) that goes to the sant joan despi (get off at the hospital sant joan stop). i didn't realize the tramvia closed at midnight, so one night i was lucky enough to catch the last T1 or T2 line and get off at the split from T3 and i had to walk about a mile or so to the hotel. the neighbourhood seems really safe though, so walking was no big deal. actually nowhere in barcelona did i feel in any sort of danger at all. barcelona is amazing beyond belief. i definitely recommend this hotel, just make sure you know how to get out to it before you leave from the airport. The apartment itself was hard to find at first from the city centre, but when hotel staff mapped out the easiest route (1 tram then 1 metro train), it took around 35 mins to get to the centre. Apartment was very clean and tidy, basic but great value for the price we paid. If you dont mind the commute into the city then the apartment is ideal for a bit […] of piece and quiet. The stuffs are very helpful and professional, the condition of the room is average but comfortable.

Really nice hotel and area. but it was far from everything! there was a bus stop right out front. but it took an hour to get to the beach.

Very nice hotel, it takes about an hour to reach city center with public transport, but from another side is near to the airport. I had a great stay there.

if your ok with spending 40-50mins by TRAM/Metro then you can't ask for a better Hotel. Very clean and great value for money. Don't miss the Chinese resturant near the hotel for dinner.

THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL WAS VERY CONVENIENT FOR GETTING INTO TOWN, WHCH WAS VERY HANDY. THE VIEW FROM HOTEL WINDOW WAS LOVELY. THE ONLY DIFFICULTY WASE THE LACK OF ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF, WHICH WAS FRUSTRATING.

this hotel is very comfortable and th attention is excellent, but you will need to rent a car to be able to go to Barcelona. If you can rent a car you will be fine.. it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to be where the action is.
