Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 23 feb 2013Hotel perfetto per soggiorni lunghi in quanto ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La mia camera aveva un letto matrimoniale ed un letto supplementare per mia figlia uno schermo lcd ed un bagno con vasca e bidet. Se si vuole modificare la temperatura interna della camera bisogna lasciare un deposito di 10 sterline per avere un telecomando. La colazione per noi italiani è perfetta in quanto ci sono cornetti, pan raisin (cornetti all'uvetta grandi e piccoli) saccottini al cioccolato, panini,nutella (proprio nutella) marmellate,yougurt e pane da tostare. Se cercate la colazione inglese dovete pagare un supplemento perchè di salato è presente solo il prosciutto cotto. L'hotel si trova in zona 3 ed è a 15 minuti a piedi dalla metro (ma c'è il bus 48 che passa ogni 10 minuti e vi lascia sotto l'hotel). In 30 minuti si è in pieno centro. Se dovete passare pochi giorni a Londra forse non è l'ideale ma per chi deve passare una settimana come abbiamo fatto noi è consigliabile

Per quanto riguarda la stanza c'erano armadi piccolissimi ci si deve adattare.Buona colazione e molti giovani, dunque alla sera c'era parecchio movimento.

We had our toddler and they were very accomodating. They upgraded us to a larger room to give some extra space. There was even a rubber ducky in the bathtub. The staff was nice and the room was comfortable. We were welcomed with politeness and a refreshing desire to make you feel welcome. They attended to every detail and were not snobby because of who and where they were in the hotel market place. I have stayed at some really stuffy hotels and this is not one of them. They were nice staff and nothing was too much trouble. There is a quiet confidence to The Stafford and it has a beautiful, traditional approach to your stay. It is by no means a cheap place to stay, but if you want your trip to London to be special and you appreciate the fastidiousness so often missing from the big chain high end hotels, then The Stafford is the place to go. The restaurant is, as you […] would expect in an establishment of this calibre, far from inexpensive, but the menu and wine list are both fabulous and I could have chosen many beautiful courses to eat. The chef obviously knows his craft well and my starter was quite simply exquisite - to the point that I expected my entree to be a disappointment by comparison. It wasn't. Beautiful food all around with a dazzling choice of wine to suit all budgets. (I recommend the Croix du Case Pomerol!) The American Bar, whilst a little outmoded in its decor, is a fun, relaxed place to conclude your evening with a digestif (again, from a wide choice!) It's jacket required all of the way and friendly staff on hand again. The room quality is great (Deluxe Queen), again fairly traditional in style - beds are huge and supremely comfortable and the bathroom more than adequate. The area of town is ideal too - if you are a fashionable gent, nearby Jermyn Street is great for traditional mens clothing! Piccadilly is a stones throw away and you are not too far away from theatreland etc. etc. Central enough, yet a quiet enclave in many respects. Basically, if you are in London and want a consistent quality experience with just enough quirkiness to make it interesting, then stay here. We will be going back again, that's for sure. We could have stayed 5 star cheaper, but I doubt it would have been this good. The Stafford is a "proper" London hotel and it made for a hugely enjoyable weekend. Ett fem-stjärnigt hotell som ligger mycket bra o nära centrala delar av London. Motsvarar i Sverige ett fyr-stjärnigt. Personalen var mycket serviceminded och artiga, rummet bekvämt men en aning litet, men sammantaget trivdes vi mycket bra på detta trevliga hotell.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Recht zentrale Lage mit U-Bahn anschluss."
Für ein 5-Sterne Hotel recht klein,sowohl die Lobby als auch die Zimmer. Das von uns gebuchte Nichtraucherzimmer roch eindeutig nach Zigarettenrauch,nach Reklamation wurde uns sofort ein neues größeres Zimmer gegeben. Frühstück im Zimmer kam immer pünktlich und hatte eine große Auswahlmöglichkeit. Da daß Hotel an einer kleinen Hinterhofstraße liegt […] war es erstaunlich ruhig dort. My wife and I had the pleasurable experience of staying at 'The Stafford Hotel' in London for 5 nights and were very happy with its central situation right in the West End of this great City, The ambience and quality which this hotel offers is quite outstanding even by 5 Star standards. "2 jours au Stafford Hôtel"
Situation IDEALE au coeur du coeur de Londres, à proximité directe des parcs, Piccadilly, covent garden, oxfort, regent etc... et surtout un calme ABSOLU dans l'effervescence de ce quartier ! chambres un peu petite mais très bon service et excellent restaurant qui nous réconcilie définitivement avec la gastronomie anglaise, très bon sommelier également, […] qui a fait ses classes au château Margaux !
