Best Western Village Park Inn Calgary

We were told at the desk condoments were extra. We brought a coffee down from the room & were not allowed to sit in coffee shop/restaurant. The only door to get into hotel was at the front, while parking was at the back. It happened that is it was a snowy rainy day.

Higher end hotel in this neighbourhood. Very clean and comfortable with small indoor pool and hot tub just outside the rooms in the dining area. No breakfast included here. Instead a fancy (not cheap) restaurant with buffet. The only frustrating thing was that the rooms had doors to outside which you could not use to enter. His hotel is ok for what I paid. I stayed one night. The room was generally clean. I had a lot of trouble finding parking in the free lot, circling for quite a while before getting a place. They have inside parking, but that costs more. I think they should comp indoor parking when the advertised free surface parking is full. The rooms could use some […] upgrades. Great location for shopping and getting around Calgary. Nice clean comfortable room. Great breakfast buffet with 50 percent off for hotel guests.

I just spent 6 days at this hotel, and it was great! Clean, comfortable, and quiet. It is in a good location, near public transit and lots of cabs out front. Also lots of places to eat at, or order in from. Pool, hot tub, and coffee shop inside. Great staff too. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

No problems at all except I find the beds too soft. My back goes out once in a while and I seem to need a firm mattress. Perhaps they have firmer mattresses in some rooms? I should have enquired. Good restaurant with pleasant waitresses. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

All was great for us since we were needed to be next to Univ. of Calgary and city to set up a new student. It is right next door to SIN and minutes to every where. My only complaine is I think the breakfast should have been included in the price. It was not worth $13 and very standard buffet with not so good eggs or other quality of food for the pr […] ice. This is the fourth time we've stayed at the Best Western Village Park when in town to cheer on the Stampeders. Hotel staff are friendly, helpful professionals. Close to main shopping malls and in the hotel district outside of the city. Old hotel but clean ans spacy rooms and a helpful front desk.

Although we were within feet of the indoor pool and hot tub, we had minimal noise in our room during open pool hours. Beyond that, this hotel room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. All of our business was in Northwest Calgary, so this choice was extremely good. Very pleased with our stay. Room was clean and updated, bed was very comfortable. Convenient location with easy access to major streets. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at various hotels in this area over the years and were sort of disappointed with our choice of this hotel. The staff was pleasant, the general appearance of the hotel was nice but our room was disappointing. It definitely needed to be refurbished. The King bed was the smallest one I have ever seen. Excellent for our needs. Kids loved the pool. Hotel was quiet and staff very friendly. Liked the underground parking. Close to everything we wanted to do and see. We will stay there on our next trip to Calgary.

This hotel was very clean, had comfortable beds. Several restaurants within walking distance. Pool was indoors and the jacuzzi jets were not working. Would recommend staying at this hotel.

The stay was overall satisfactory. We did not try out the restaurant so I cannot comment on it. There was no continental breakfast.

The only down side was noisy neighbours in the adjoining room on Saturday nite.

I would recommend this hotel as it was convenient, clean and comfortable. They offered a great inexpensive continental breakfast and a pool and hot-tub right outside my door. Very friendly staff as well. Plus the discounted rate made this a great value.

The Best Western near the University is in a real good location, close to many amenities, restaurants, shopping, university and easy access to downtown. Overall, it presents great value.

This hotel is right across the street from McMahon Stadium - home of the Calgary Stampeders and there's a walking bridge to get you there safely. There are a bunch of family-style restaurants within walking distance. The bathroom was small, but the room was spacious.

Bon hôtel, avec d'excellentes prestations (accès à un ordinateur gratuit, excellent buffet au petit déjeuner, piscine intérieure et spa). 15mn du centre en metro ! Good hotel with excellent services (free computer access, wonderful breakfast buffet, interior pool and spa). Only 15 mn from downtown by metro.
