Bellissimo hotel in stile classico con personale cortese, internet veloce, camere grandi dotate di ogni confort e posizione che più centrale non si può con metropolitane, ristorante e locali da ogni lato. Tuttavia la nostra camera, pur essendo molto ampia e confortevole, dava sul cortile interno e questo è risultato un pò claustrofobico e con scarsa ventilazione.

complessivamente buono, grande e comoda camera family ,affacciata sulla Gran via ( rumorori di traffico e sirene la notte), letti un po' duri ,bene bagno , ottima e varia colazione a buffet , fermata metro a 10 metri , in centro (Puerta del Sol ) in meno di 10 minuti a piedi.WiFi solo nella Hall ed al piano colazione internet con cavo in camera

in posizione molto centrale, posizionato a pochi passi dalla metro e nella zona centrale del cuore di madrid, stanza piccola invece della matrimoniale ho avuto una stanza con due letti separati, per il resto tutto ok

sono molto soddisfatto, personale gentile massima cortesia, prezzi extras accettabili. Raccomandato per famiglia, larghi spazi e cittadina silenziosa e molto pulita. Pur rimanendo a 30 km da Madrid molto ben collegata, treno pulito e veloce ogni 20 minuti. Ci tornerò volentieri

La distanza dal centro è stata un po' condizionante.. nel senso che per brevissimi soggiorni perdere un paio d'ore per andare e tornare dal centro non è il massimo (data la lontananza, circa 1 km dalla metro). Per il resto un ottimo hotel... anzi anche di più... le stanze sono davvero belle e confortevoli, abbiamo utilizzato anche la palestra all'ultimo piano, davvero bella e ben attrezzata. Personale socievole e alla mano, con ottima padronanza dell'inglese. Un hotel come questo, più vicino ad una fermata metro sarebbe stato il top del top!!

Molto buono. Unica lamentela, il comportamento dell'autista della "navetta" per l'aeroporto (fornita dall'albergo), che si è arbitrariamente trattenuto quattro euro di resto (dati 50, resi 30) come mancia.

Si trova tra vecchia Madrid e Madrid borbonica: i Musei e i luoghi d'interesse più importanti sono a portata di ... piede; per i pigri sono vicinissime due fermate della Metro. Dotato di un buon ristorante con soddisfacente rapporto qualità-prezzo e di una caffetteria. Possibilità di navetta da e per aeroporto. Pulizia. L'hotel ha una location ottima, tra porta del Sol e il paseo del Prado. La struttura appare recentemente rinnovata con materiali di qualità e arredamento dal bel design. Stanza pulita. WIFI gratis ottima.

Sicuramente da tornare. Personale gentilissimo che unito all'ottima puizia e gradevolezza delle camere hanno reso il nostro soggiorno veramente picevole. Per la colazione oltre alla caffetteria dell'hotel c'è FABORIT dove è possibile fare colazione a partire dalle 7.00 del mattino. L'hotel è ben posizionato, a un salto dalle principali attrazioni, molto moderno e la cordialità del personale impeccabile.

I love this hotel. It is in an excellent location first of all, easy access to the metro and convenient walking to Gran Via, Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Orient, and even walkable disctance to all museums. There is no lack of great restaurants, cafes, bars, taverns, etc. in the area to eat...just get out and walk. The staff are always courteous and all […] I have encountered speak English. The room was spotlessly cleaned. The laundry service I utilized was quick and efficient and did a great job. The housekeepers responded quickly to request such as extra towels, and did a great job cleaning the room. The front desk helped me arrange for private transport to the airport flawlessly. Meals in the cafe and buffet area for breakfast were good, quick, filling, and once again, the staff was professional and spoke English. I have no bad remarks to make about this hotel. "Good location, but nothing special"
The hotel was in a good location (central to most of the sites on our list) but the rest of the experience was ordinary. In particular the hotel staff was minimally helpful and seemed to act bothered every time a guest asked a question. Further the beds were on a wooden floor and slipped every time you moved in the bed. The hotel is outdated but clean. […] The breakfast buffet was minimal but the coffee was nice. "Nice hotel in the the heart of Madrid"
Unique location, comfortable stay, helpful staff. I can only recommend this hotel. We had the room with the view to the wall, which was not so nice, but at the end the advantage was quiet nights (and hotel staff asked us if we want to change).
Hotel Regina was wonderful! Great location, friendly people, spacious and comfortable room. If we have 1 complaint it would be that our room was a bit stuffy. A/C had not yet been turned on. But this was a minor issue and I highly recommend this hotel.

lovely hotel; would stay there again, but would choose a more full-sized room rather than a single, and preferably one that faces the street. (a lot of the rooms face small internal spaces. lovely restaurant worth visiting.

The location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance. The room was super clean and comfortable. The only complaint was that it was too hot. They told us they didn't have the AC on at night. So we had to open the windows to help cool off the room. Other than that the hotel room was a nice as they get.

Perhaps the best thing about the hotel was its location - very central and near the Prado, Retiro Gardens, Plaza Mayor etc, walking distance to airport bus. We found it very comfortable, though we had an 'inside' room - other reviews have said a room on the street can be very noisy. The room was a bit small, but other than that, it was great. All new fixtures and even a shower curtain (much of Europe hasn't mastered the concept of a shower curtain or door keeping the water off the floor). The entrance to the very efficient subway is 50 feet from the front door. Walk about 3 short blocks and you're in Plaza del Sol. Another three […] blocks and you're at the Plaza Mayor Mercado. The Plaza Mayor is a block away from that.. Front desk very helpful. Loaded my sim card at Vodaphone in Plaza del Sol. Walked in opposite direction to Museo de Prado. we were very satisfied with our 3 day stay at hotel regina,it is in an excellent location room, staff, and hotel overall cannot be faulted would recommend tom&margaret
The only complaint is air conditioning not used in hotel due to time of year. Hotel staff awesome, coffee shop very convenient. Overall great hotel we had to sleep with windows open at night because Madrid was unseasonably warm. We stayed in nearby hotel previous year this was hands down better room for equal price.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in Jan. Bedroom had two huge single beds so comfortable!, TV with some English channels and was bigger than most of the city hotels I have stayed at. Particulary asked for a room away from the main road and away from the lift and this is exactly what we got. Reception more than helpful and deserve the good reviews they […] get, even advertise on their card for a review on trip advisor.Euro 2.50 to get to airport from metro located right outside the front door in 20-30 mins. Located perfect, easy to reach most places by foot in about 15 mins with lots of bars and cafes directly in the area. "fantastic location"
Location, location, location. Just a few minutes walk from Puerto del Sol. Lots of restaurants, walking distance of so many sights in Madrid. Also steps away from the metro station. I wasn't happy about my room, should have asked to change but I didn't, had a room right next to the elevator, very noisy.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 night last dec.17-21,2011 and the best the location is very center where all the action is , the room is very clean and good size ,The only down side is there is no free breakfast. I would stay in this hotel again and recommend to family and friend

"Regina Hotel Madrid"
The Hotel is in a very central location for the main sites within Madrid and is close to the Sevilla Metro and Airport Coach Dropoff point. As we had 2 rooms, I can say that one was large and and one quite small and one was cold and was hot, however both the same price, so if you want a large room just ask for it.
"Reginia excellent value for the money"
The best part was walking up to the top of Seville Metro staircase and seeing the Hotel Reginia sign. Since it was November the a/c had been changed to heat, they accomodated us with a large occolating fan and they brought us a chair with arms so my husband could watch TV, without being on the bed. The attached cafe was reasonably priced for breakfast […] and supper. Personell at the desk were helpful and spoke excellent English. Was able to book tour with pick up at the hotel. the location of the hotel was great and is in walking distance between 2 train lines. We booked a superior room and was situated well away from the streets. The walls were thin so we can here people walking down the hallway and the vacuum going off. Other than that, the room was great.

"Hotel Regina in Madrid was fabo!"
We recently stayed for 6 nights in October. The location, as everyone says, is superb in front of SEVILLE metro stop. I had emailed ahead to tell of 9 pm arrival and ask for larger twin room and we were delighted. Room opened to single bed in foyer and then next room with twins. Very modern and top notch bathroom. It was interior room window, but perfect […] for sleeping and siestas. Great linens and towels and the maid staff work hard at cleaning top to bottom. You are two block walk to Puerto del Sol and easy tapas area walk to Plaza Santa Ana and our faves on Victoria street. Only complaint about hotel would be NO FREE INTERNET and they should remedy this. We did not have the breakfast as so many places nearby or else we were not even hungry. VIVA MADRID!
