the room could have been cleaner as far as the sheets on the bed the bathroom light was out,could it happened after they cleaned the room the Ac was first rate , it let me set a good temp, the staff were pleasant, and i like getting USA newspaper

All nice except internet was sooooo slow

I don't even know where to begin!!! This place is so nasty. Hookers knocking on the door at 3 in the morning ?? Really? It is also very tough to sleep while scatching!! The web site info stated that there was a refrigerator and a microwave in every room. There was not. I am a diabetic and needed to keep insulin cool. Management stated that they could upgrade me to a room with a microwave and a refrigerator for $67 more. There were no hand towels present to dry one's hands. The wife went to the front lobby to ask for […] hand towels and was told that they didn't have any but gave her terry cloth bath mats in lieu of hand towels. All the ice makers were broken except for the one in the lobby office and we were put in a room all the way in the back of the hotel. There was a good bit of black mold present on the ceiling of our room from a previous roof leak. The commode had to be flushed 4 times if you did a #2. The maids and the handyman were super nice and tried their best to take care of our needs; but the front desk personnel could care less. Continua a leggere

The front desk person was pleasant and all went well until morning. Housekeeping insisted on asking if we were checking out or staying. I answered the first knock with "We're here" and my husband answered the 2nd knock with "Later!". The maid opened the door, peered through the crack and continued to ask questions anyway. I suspect there is an industry trick where they give you the keys to a nasty, unkempt room, and when you come back and complain, they give you keys to a slightly less nasty room, so you think 'hey - this is not so bad' and accept it. We spent a night here freezing (IN LOUISIANA!) due to an a/c that we could not control... with floors, towels and bed […] linens of dubious cleanliness... and a party going on outside that was so sketchy my husband ordered me not to leave the room. It was better than the first room they showed us though, because the toilet flushed. We were just tired and resigned to the fact that it was dirt cheap. When we checked in the girl was totally indifferent to us. We asked for a ground floor room and she said they weren't finished cleaning them. When we got to the room it was clean and appeared to have been remodeled recently. We discovered that there were no towels, coffee, creamer, etc in the room. We found one of the housekeeping staff and asked for […] towels & a couple extra pillows. They promised the towels, but said they didn't have any extra pillows. The promised towels never appeared, but the young lady I asked was at the festival we went there to attend an hour later having a great time. When we returned to the room around 10PM they still hadn't brought towels. My husband went to the front desk and they managed to give him 2 towels, no washcloths though. The next morning we asked for towels again and someone brought us 2 more. My husband told the manager he was unhappy & she didn't even offer an apology. The housekeeping supervisor called at 9:30 saying they were just doing laundry. Too little too late. This was our first - and last - experience at Red Roof! Continua a leggere

I love Red Roof hotels! They have such great prices and they are consistant. There are no frills... you don't get shampoo, tissues, pools or anything. It's a clean bed, tub/shower combo and a TV. One of the rooms was totally filthy, had not been cleaned from previous occupants. took 3 tries before a clean room was found. the couple that stayed in the second room are not complainers and wouldn't say anything. The bathroom was uncleaned, the bedding was terrible. the couple had hard time getting comfortable enough to even rest good. Great accommodations, especially for the price. Great location; close to many gas stations and fast food restaurants. Friendly staff! I would definitely stay again! I had been a bit nervous because it was my first hotel stay alone, and I didn't have a credit card. I had no problem with the service, room or cleanliness. For the money it was a very good deal.
