Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013La posizione è stupenda in quanto si trova direttamente di fronte a Central Park. La nostra camera era veramente spaziosa. Per la colazione è meglio premurarsi che sia già pagata o meno altrimenti viene addebitata sulla camera e poi bisogna spiegare che era già pagata. Attenzione al frigo bar, ogni tanto caricano sul conto consumazioni non fatte. Nel nostro caso, dopo una breve spiegazione, hanno provveduto immediatamente a cancellarla dal conto finale e senza fare troppe storie. Il personale è stato gentile a parte qualche cameriere un po scorbutico durante la colazione ma con il quale abbiamo subito chiarito, parlando noi un buon inglese.

A nice building, set in nice grounds. The reception staff were amongst the worst I have come across. The restaurant, bar and room service menus amount to seven menus - no real need as they are all the same. Fine if you are staying one night but not for longer stays. "Close to but far enough to get away from the city."
We enjoyed the atmosphere. The kids,9 & 10 year olds, had fun, along with us two parents at the pool.Poolside decor and waterfall are beautiful. While $60 or $70 dollars a day more than a Sheraton or Marriot, very much worth it. Standard room was gigantic with two seemingly king size beds, dressing room, two bathroom sinks, full closet, nice desk, free internet, free NY Times. In Tarrytown, close to Marriot and Sheraton but worlds apart. Why doesn't everyone stay here? They just haven't discovered it yet. Very popular on weekends but great value during the week. Have a feast at the best restaurant in town (and surrounding towns), have a second glass of wine, then just walk down the hall to bed. The hotel is in a beautiful location. Our room was nice, but it needed a few repairs (broken sink had been repaired not replaced and had a large crack in it). The pool was nice, but we had to get out early because they had a private party their. We weren't told about the party until we got down to the pool, even though I called ahead to the front desk. "The best Hotel we have ever stayed in!"
This is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in! The staff was courteous and professional. We were worried we might be out of place there. They treated us with as much kindness and repect as all of their other guests. Sometimes going out of the way to make us feel comfortable. Upon arrival the valet staff took 10 minutes to come and check in our car and we unloaded our own luggage. The front desk staff was not very friendly. The hotel is very clean and rooms are very well appointed with comfortable bedding. "Castle on the Hudson, Quiet and relaxing"
Hotel staff were excellent, very helpful and accommodating. The grounds were well equipped with a lovely pool, tennis court, and a fitness trail.
