Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 23 feb 2013Hotel perfetto per soggiorni lunghi in quanto ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La mia camera aveva un letto matrimoniale ed un letto supplementare per mia figlia uno schermo lcd ed un bagno con vasca e bidet. Se si vuole modificare la temperatura interna della camera bisogna lasciare un deposito di 10 sterline per avere un telecomando. La colazione per noi italiani è perfetta in quanto ci sono cornetti, pan raisin (cornetti all'uvetta grandi e piccoli) saccottini al cioccolato, panini,nutella (proprio nutella) marmellate,yougurt e pane da tostare. Se cercate la colazione inglese dovete pagare un supplemento perchè di salato è presente solo il prosciutto cotto. L'hotel si trova in zona 3 ed è a 15 minuti a piedi dalla metro (ma c'è il bus 48 che passa ogni 10 minuti e vi lascia sotto l'hotel). In 30 minuti si è in pieno centro. Se dovete passare pochi giorni a Londra forse non è l'ideale ma per chi deve passare una settimana come abbiamo fatto noi è consigliabile

Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 21 feb 2013hotel ottimo sotto tutti i punti di vista. camere curate e servizio di alto livello. prodotti della penhaligon's per la toilette. personale gentilissimo. la metro dista un centinaio di metro e la zona è piena di vita, negozi e altro. non ho usufruito della colazione mattutina, ma immediatamente fuori dall'hotel si trovano locali dove con poco si può andare dalla piccola colazione (starbucks coffee), alla colazione all'inglese con 7 sterline. (25 in hotel). da utilizzare ancora!!

Don't get the ungraded room unless you like paying more for your room and staring at a brick wall. At that rate, shouldn't WIFI be included in the rate? Seems like it should. The hotel staff was exceptional - opening doors, giving directions, etc. Room was always clean when I returned and the lit candle in the bathroom was a nice touch. "Plain block hotel on outside, beautiful inside"
We were very pleased overall with our stay at the hotel. It was bright and clean and the location was perfect for busy nightlife and within easy reach of shopping and tube station. I did have reservations that the standard room would be tiny but it was spacious for both of us. Can't beat the location and friendly staff. Free gym next door a nice plus. Room was nice and great bathroom. A few technical glitches, wifi was fast but spotty and unclear how much it cost (they comped it in the end) and room phones out of date. "Open windows? Lol"
Hotel and staff were great. Except maid kept opening our window and leaving it open and at night we couldn't figure out why it was so cold despite having the heat on- until day 2 when we realized the window was open. Despite telling the front desk- the maid continued to leave the window open every day- not sure why this was -considering it is winter. […] The open window also led to increased street noise and construction noise which was not great considering we left nyc to get away from the noise. Our room was very small. Couldn't fit an open suitcase anywhere. There was a lot of noise from closing hallway doors slamming. Felt a bit dorm-like. I like minimalism, but it was somewhat extreme. The hallway reminded me of a stark no-frills ship. The lobby was cold and unwelcoming. The staff was very nice. I think the star rating is one star too high. What an amazing hotel! The staff and service was impeccable and everyone made us feel very special during our stay. We were there for 5 days for my husband's birthday. my room, although small, was very nice and extremely modern. The only real problem was that the staff seemed to think that they were above everyone and were a bit unfriendly. Fabulous hotel but staff really made it, having stayed at the Sanderson as well would say I preferred St Martins Lane, for location, rooms and attentiveness/friendliness of staff. When designer becomes limited, I think the hotel is laid back and stylish but this should not mean you lose the basics of hospitality. Don't think I will be back room was very sparse and looked with its full height windows onto another building and office.
