Le camere di questo hotel (noi ne avevamo prese 2) hanno superato di gran lunga tutte le nostre aspettative: spaziosissime e molto pulite. L'albergo è un pò fuori città, ma c'è la fermata del tram (715) a 5 minuti a piedi che ti porta dritto in centro. In più all'angolo con la strada principale c'è un supermarket aperto fino alle 9 (ma la Domenica è chiuso). I difetti sono che c'è da salire una scala per accedere all'hotel (roba da poco, ma noi avevamo un passeggino) e che l'angolo cottura non è fornito di nulla, nè pentole, nè posate, nè piatti, nè microonde...quindi è inutile che ci sia! Comunque piccolezze rispetto al comfort estremo delle camere! Lo consiglio vivamente!

Hotel confortevole con prezzo ragionevole. L'unico problema e' rappresentato dal fatto di essere localizzato in una zona periferica lontana dal centro citta'.

Hotel finemente arredato con grande cura per i particolari. Lo staff ha mostrato grande cordialità e professionalità. La camera ha una disposizione degli ambienti decisamente originale e di ottimo gusto. Tutto questo, però, non giustifica il costo per il servizio di prima colazione che è esagerato.

Friendly enough but a bit isolated.
"Tryp hotel - better than expected"
The hotel is stuck out in what feels like the middle of nowhere (depending on where you're visiting - we had a conference at Essen), but the staff are friendly and the facilities are perfectly adequate. But the restaurant! That was a real and very pleasant surprise - much better quality than we expected, good fresh ingredients and large portion size. "fine but far out"
A bit out of the way, would never have found it without a taxi driver, and even they had to use sat nav! 8k from Bochum and about 4 from Gelsen Kirchen. Well served by the tram though.

Hotel liegt in Nähe einer Kirche, durch morgendliches läuten zu laut. Es gab keinen Zimmerservice. Matratzen waren ziemlich durchgelegen. Teppich ziemlich fleckig.

Trist at være ikke ryger og sove med vinduet åbent når naboerne ryger ud af vinduerne der samme i løbet af dagen :-( vi havde to værelser og var der kun en nat, brandalarmen gik i gang kl 4.15 om natten og vi måtte på gaden til en falsk alarm, ikke den bedste oplevelse.

"Ruhige Lage"
Sehr freundliche Aufnahme und Beratung beim Empfang. Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Anbindung an öff. Verkehrsmittel in ca. 300 m Entfernung. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbufett.

Helt okej rum och mycket prisvärt så länge man inte äter deras jättedyra frukost. Nära motorvägen och lätt att parkera. Trist och nedgånget närområde men bara ett par minuter till fots till spårvagn med tät trafik till både Gelsenkirchen och Bochum (se till att ha mynt). Ett par minuter till fots till en stor matvaruaffär, Kaufland.

"Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig an der Autobahn"
Wir waren nur ein Nacht in diesem Hotel, da wir ins Musical " Starlithexpress " waren, das Hotel selber ist sauber wenn man noch ein Abendspaziergang machen möchte kann man das da es ruhig gelegen ist. Das Hotel selber für das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis kann ich sehr gut weiterempfehlen. die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, […] und helfe einem gerne weiter bei Fragen. Wenn man zum Starlithexpress gehen sollte, und man möcbte noch was essen. Sollte man auf keinem Fall in der Straße wo sich das Musical befindet in das griechische Lokal Sorbas essen gehn, dass Essen ist total überteuert und ist ungenießbar. Continua a leggere
"Gutes Hotel für einen Aufenthalt im Ruhrgebiet"
Das Hotel hat gute Verkehrsanbindungen zur Bochumer Innenstadt und auch in die benachbarten Städte Essen und Gelsenkirchen. Außerdem liegt es unmittelbar an der Wattenscheider City mit ihrer Einkaufsstraße. Die Standardzimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Das Badezimmer ist ebenfalls geräumig und hat einen großen abgeteilten Duschbereich. Der Speisesaal […] ist hell und freundlich, das Frühstück gut und reichlich. Hervorzuheben ist das überaus freundliche Personal in allen Servicebereichen. Wir kennen das Hotel von mehreren privaten Aufenthalten im Ruhrgebiet. "Standart Hotel"
Alles bestens in dem Hotel. Es hat nicht mehr und nicht weniger als man braucht zum Übernachten und sich fertig zu machen. Wenn man nicht viel Zeit im Hotel verbringt auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Sehr nettes Personal.

Da døren til ikkerygerværelset blev åbnet svarede dunsten til et rygerværelse. Jeg blev vækket klokken 01:30 da endnu en hotelgæst som havde fået tildelt mit værelse kom ind af døren. Oplevelsen blev rundet af med Müesli overhældt med varm og fedtrig mælk. Jeg håber der var tale om en enkeltstående oplevelse!

Rigtig fint hotel, som ligger 5 minutter fra motorvejen. Pænt og rent væresle af høj standard. Kan også varmt anbefale maden på hotellet.

Das personal an der Rezeption war freundlich . Die Zimmer waren zufriedenstellend eingerichtet und sauber. Es gibt keine Minibar in den Zimmern. Aber in der nähe ist ein grosser Supermarkt , wo man Getränke kaufen kann. Das Frühstück war sehr gut , man hat eine gute Auswahl.

Wir waren zum Biathlon auf Schalke und haben eine schöne Unterkunft gesucht. Für unseren Zweck waren wir mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit bei einem ähnlichen Trip das Hotel wieder buchen.

Da war schon einmal in dem Hotel waren, haben wir uns auch ein zweites Mal dafür entschieden hier her zu kommen, da es uns gut gefallen hat und alles ok war. Doch leider gab es dieses Mal kein Raucherzimmer mehr, obwohl wir es zuvor so gebucht hatten und zweitens war das Zimmer dieses Mal nicht richtig gründlich gereinigt worden.
