Shower head spray very weak, water took ten mins to get hot, brown water in toilet and taps one day, screen doors came off the hinges every time we tried to open them, holes in screen door, poor quality furnishings and doors-hardware etc. No indoor bar/lounge area as weather was cold at night and only one decent indoor restaurant which closed on two […] nights out of four.Food very disappointing, buffet very limited. Incredibly friendly staff and great service. We traveled with our 9 month old daughter and we felt very comfortable there. The staff were incredibly attentive and great with her. The overall experience was a good one (quality of the hotel) except for the long waits for dinner (no reservations allowed and they should be so you know what to expect). The food was very average, the best experience being Portofino, the Italian restaurant. ( I was there for a wedding so didn't select it myself) The wine included was not very good, and the drinks tasted watered down...and I am not a drinker! The spa treatments are overpriced for Mexico for sure and the coupons they give you do not make it worthwhile to go. Nice place and great all inclusive plan. The staff is friendly and the Explorer's Clud for the Kids is great. Our only dislike is the pool area is very quiet and sterile. This might be OK for some but we were hoping for a more fun enviornment.

We just came back from Dreams, we went to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and Dreams made it possible. From the time we arrived the service was amazing. We had booked a 1 bedroom suite with the preferred club and check-in was so easy, the bell man brought us straight to our preferred club concierge who then took 2 minutes to check us in and give […] us a tour of the lounge and then took us to our room. This was our third visit to Dreams Los Cabos. Since our last visit in 2010, they changed the Himitsu menu to mostly sushi which was a disappointment to us. Plus the desserts offered were not up to the standards you would expect from a Dreams Resort - one evening they were even unable to offer what they had listed on the menu so your choices were very […] restricted. Due to restaurants being booked by private parties for dinner, one night we only had two choices of where we could go...not acceptable since we paid for the Resort's full services too. We love this Resort and hope to return but are hoping for some improvements such as putting an alternative to sushi in the Himitsu menu, adding a pastry chef who would work on more dessert selections, and remembering you need to accomodate ALL the guests when deleting services. A very pleasant experience. Rooms are comfortable. Air conditioning was very good and quiet. A relaxing atmosphere. Not for party types. More couple and family oriented. Equal distant to Los Cabos and San Jose del Cabo. Middle of corridor stretch. I spent a week there and had no disappointments.

The food schedule was really bad, you had to walk all the way to the other end of the resort to find snack to eat. The restaurant food was good but the Breakfast was so horrible. one day of our stay was raining and it seemed like the staff have never dealt with this situation. Dreams exceeded my expectation... Definitely a beautiful place with an amazing staff... They made me feel special always remembering my name, room number, favorite foods and drinks. We arrived two days after a tropical storm had hit Cabo. There was constant repair going on as workers patched leaky walkways and ceilings, but the work was unobtrusive. The room was a cool haven from the lingering ultra-humid weather. The service for the rooms was superb, providing the standard neatening visit in the morning and a turn-down service […] at night, plus being available for the slightest request at any other time. We were there for a family wedding, so there were about three dozen of us there and we are aware of one person having their heirloom necklace stolen while she was out of her room. We used the in-room safe for our valuables and went home without a loss. Being an all-inclusive resort, we were able to have meals and snacks whenever we were hungry and, while the food was not outstanding, it was adequate. The resort has several restaurants offering several cuisines from Italian to Japanese. In those restaurants, you may order from a menu, but most venues offered a generous buffet. There was a surprisingly small offering of the fresh seafood you might expect from the area and very little indigenous cuisine - if you want mostly American food, this is the place for you! Several members of our group came down with Montezuma's revenge, but we escaped the experience. In spite of the resort having their own water filtration system that they insist produces "safe" water, we stuck with bottled water and avoided ice, so I think that is probably why. Make sure that you are not going to Dreams Cabo to splash around and swim on the beach. The waves are big and constant and it is not recommended that people swim. Other than that the hotel is super clean the food is great and the staff is amazing.

we had our family vacation this summer at Dreams and we enjoyed it so very much. Everyone was nice and courteous, the food was great and I highly recommend this hotel for both couples and families. We will certainly go again next year. My kids didn't want to leave. The worse part about it was that we didn't stay long enough!

The only issue we had is when you request double beds they are not guaranteed. So if you don't want to sleep with the person you are going with.......Otherwise it is heaven on earth :) Activities all day long or do nothing!

This was our second visit to Dreams Los Cabos and definitely our last. As members of Palace Resorts, we are accustomed to better service and friendlier staff. It was rare to be greeted by staff at Dreams. And on three occasions we were given poor service at the Seaside Grill restaurant and ignored twice at the tranquility bar. A simple smile would […] go a long way but it was often too much to ask for at Dreams. There were some staff members who were friendly, but that was an exception. We spent 3 nights at the resort, and it was fun. It was really hot this time of the year, but the pool was great! Family and I spent a lot of time in the pool with drinks and food getting served . good service overall. Staff was fun and friendly. Didnt really use the resort credits given by Expedia because of the restrictions hotel people put in it. […] But all inclusive was good. The room service food was really good although it takes 35-50 min for food to be delivered. The activities desk was helpful in arranging the zip lining tour not far from hotel. We visited Los Cabos along with two other families. We have five young kids among us. Our foremost criteria for selecting the resort was to have access to a good kids club. Dreams provided just that. We could relax, unwind and had a great time in Dreams' infinity pool because we could leave our kids in Dreams' Kids Explorer club for the good part of […] our days there. We also got upgraded to honeymoon suites which were simply fantastic. Not only were the rooms very spacious and comfy but the room service and maid service was also excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only area where I found Dreams lacking was the service at their restaurants. This hotel is very average. The alcohol was watered down and the food was below average. Hotel is located on the beach but definitely not on the best part of Cabo. The club is a glorified recreation room and depressing to hang out in at night time.

I've been to Dreams six times, which should tell you how I feel about the place. I can't wait to go back. I've been fortunate to enjoy some great vacations in my life, and chillin' out at Dreams is as good as it gets. If you want a vacation where you simply relax in the sun on the beach, or eat wonderfully prepared food and relish exotic mixed drinks, […] all coupled with superb service, then this is your place to go. If you're into sight-seeing or jetting around Europe on a Eurail Pass or adventuring across the country like the Griswolds, then Dreams may be too laid back for you. It is an absolutely gorgeous property. We were very impressed with the aesthetics and cleanliness of the public areas, the grounds, pools and rooms. I had read some reviews that said we would be pestered by timeshare hounds. Not so - in fact, not one word was uttered about this. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food also was good, and in […] some cases, very good. I'd also read in some reviews that the drinks were watered down. This is partly true, at least with some of the mixed drinks. So you just figure out what's best to order and what can't be watered down. In the scope of things, this was but a small annoyance. Everything else more than makes up for it. If Dreams wanted to cater to more families with young teens, they might consider having a teen club. You see couples and families with younger kids, but not a lot ages 13-17. Hi.. Read so many reviews and decided to go to Los Cabo. The only disappointment was we could not swim at all in the ocean. The water was very rough and could not even put our feet in the water as it could drag you in. They employee told me that this is year round. The only swimming is near the marina but very crowded. The hotel seems to be o.k and […] the food was basically not that good for the amount we paid to stay. Asian food was horrible. Only shushi was good. Only had two varieties ( yellow tuna and red tuna). So please take this advice if you want to swim in Ocean avoid this Location otherwise you will be fine. This is a nice place if you're staying for a few nights. There are not many activities if you do not plan to leave the resort. Even outside the resort, there's not much to see in Cabo compare to Cancun or Riviera Maya. The staff was very friendly and always asking if you need something. The kid's club is nice and they'll take your kids to lunch and dinner for you if you want to enjoy a quiet time with your spouse. No swimming at this beach,unless you detest your life. We didn't walk to the nearby Hilton as many reviews suggested because there is no shade on the beach. If you're not a guest of the Hilton, you cannot use their facility and we do not want to be baked. If you plan to make phone calls, plan ahead. The hotel will charge $5USD/min for a call to the US. Internet is $15/day unless you stay in the more expensive 6th floor rooms. Hotel will want you to take taxi or shuttle everywhere, but the public bus is very easy to take. The bus will stop right outside the resort on both side of the street, just ask the Concierge for details. I tried to pay for everything is Peso because it's cheaper that way. I have stayed at this Dreams hotel before. I found it then a wonderful experience. This trip was also wonderful with the exception of one thing. For more than half our visit we had hot water in the toilet and hot water in both faucets on the sink. I informed the front desk by telephone. The next day, I caught a room service waiter that spoke very good […] english and asked him to inform maintenance. His supervisor called me back and told me that although it was not something Room Service dealt with she would contact maintenance. The next day, when we returned from a tour, a very nice man at the front desk asked if the problem was fixed. It had improved in that the water in the toilet was only warm, not hot as it had been before. Then everything got hot again. We were leaving the next day. I took a shower that night and it was fine. But the next morning my sister could not take a shower because there was only hot water which was to hot to shower in. It was a disappointing situation in a hotel I like so much. Continua a leggere

My friend and I recently vacationed here for a week. We're both in our 20's and it was my first time there. The resort was extremely clean, had excellent staff, and we really enjoyed the food...especially the asian place, yum! I was worried about the food after reading a few reviews on here and TripAdvisor but we were SO pleasantly surprised. Fun atmosphere […] with lots of activities (which I must admit we didn't join in too many of). We both got massages which were really amazing. The crowd seemed to depend on the time of the week and if there were any weddings going on. Not sure I would come here for a crazy spring break but it was exactly what we needed for a relaxing but fun vacation. Best part of this resort was how accommodating the staff was. The location is perfect, right between the two Cabos so you could easily go to town but there really was no need. The food was never over the top amazing but nothing was ever bad. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure you were satisfied and nightly entertainment and themed nights were so much fun. This was our first time in Cabo, and it was amazing! The resort is beautiful! Most of the staff were very helpful and attentive. The food presentation was great. Try Portifino's while you're here. We have been at Dreams 5 times and our most recent stay was our last. The resort used to be a quiet, relaxing place. In the last two years, however, it's become a haven for drunk, 30-year old former frat boys/girls who take over the "Tranquility Pool" with their incessant drinking and loud and inconsiderate behavior to other guests.
