Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 23 feb 2013Hotel perfetto per soggiorni lunghi in quanto ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La mia camera aveva un letto matrimoniale ed un letto supplementare per mia figlia uno schermo lcd ed un bagno con vasca e bidet. Se si vuole modificare la temperatura interna della camera bisogna lasciare un deposito di 10 sterline per avere un telecomando. La colazione per noi italiani è perfetta in quanto ci sono cornetti, pan raisin (cornetti all'uvetta grandi e piccoli) saccottini al cioccolato, panini,nutella (proprio nutella) marmellate,yougurt e pane da tostare. Se cercate la colazione inglese dovete pagare un supplemento perchè di salato è presente solo il prosciutto cotto. L'hotel si trova in zona 3 ed è a 15 minuti a piedi dalla metro (ma c'è il bus 48 che passa ogni 10 minuti e vi lascia sotto l'hotel). In 30 minuti si è in pieno centro. Se dovete passare pochi giorni a Londra forse non è l'ideale ma per chi deve passare una settimana come abbiamo fatto noi è consigliabile

Per quanto riguarda la stanza c'erano armadi piccolissimi ci si deve adattare.Buona colazione e molti giovani, dunque alla sera c'era parecchio movimento.

"un ostello spacciato per albergo 5 stelle."
Il c.d. Hotel Beuforth non costituisce affatto un albergo di 5 stelle (e nemmeno di 4 stelle, come indicato dal sito “Trip advisor”), ma soprattutto non può nemmeno essere considerato un vero e proprio albergo, ma di un insieme di camere ammobiliate prive di quei servizi comuni e centralizzati tipici dell’albergo. Infatti: a) la lobby è costituita […] da una modesta stanza con un ripiano di un metro e mezzo per un metro per poggiare i documenti; b) manca non solo un ristorante, ma perfino un locale in cui consumare la prima colazione; c) per accedere all’ascensore, mancando un servizio di sorveglianza, i clienti debbono comporre una combinazione cifrata; d) l’ascensore è antidiluviano ed è talmente minuscolo che ad esso, come avverte un cartello, possono accedere solo, alternativamente, una persona più un bagaglio ovvero due persone; la lentezza di questo ascensore è esasperante ; e) nelle stanze manca un minibar. Inoltre, durante il soggiorno, mi hanno rubato in camera il mio orologio da polso che avevo lasciato sul letto. E' la prima volta che mi capita. Infine, la direzione, all’atto della partenza, ha aggiunto al conto #essenzialmente costituito dalle prime colazioni consumate in camera#, la somma di 125 sterline, quale penale arbitrariamente ed unilateralmente da loro determinata per presunte spese di pulizia della camera, “contaminata” perchè avevo fumato qualche sigaretta sul balcone. "Simple perfection in posh location"
It is with great reluctance that I write this review about our recent week-long stay at the Beaufort Hotel in London. My reluctance stems from the fact that if more people learn how wonderful this hotel is, we may not be able to book it next time! It’s always the balance between praise and selfishness. "pleasant weekend in london"
very kind staff - I wanted to change the room because it was close to main entrance door and they did right away. When I asked to book restaurants for the weekends, they managed to book even the crowdest ones. The only unpleasant experience was that when I arrived from clubbing at 4am, I stood outside ringing the bell in for almost 20 minutes and the […] check out time that do not have much flexibility and knock on your door asking you to leave the room. the rest was great, great location, pleasant staff and cute rooms. "You can hear everything going on in the room above"
And I do mean everything - every footstep, snores, coughs, talking, TV, bed squeaking from... let's call them "night-time activities'. Room was tired with gappy windows, virtually transparent curtains and the creakiest floor I have ever heard. On check out when I told them about the noise they said that my feedback was ' important' but did nothing more […] other than inform me that they were unaware of the issue (I am sure I can't have been the first person to complain) because staff don't stay in the rooms and that it depended on the individual. When you can hear someone walking, I don't think so!. Astonishing attitude. There are far better hotels in the area so stay elsewhere if you want a good night's sleep. "Small but mighty"
A marvelous bijou hotel, but everything is for Lilliputians. Room was very small but OK once one got used to it. Wash basin just big enough but nowhere to store things. Where do the soap and shampoo go in the shower? No bedside table. Nice staff and a great location. Very pretty hotel. What is it that British Hotels have with the TV in the rooms? None […] of them work. "The technician will be arriving first thing tomorrow" is the excuse I have had in Oxford, London, Bristol, Heathrow and others. Didn't Mr. Baird, a Brit, invent TV? "A great hotel for a short break in London"
The hotel is very comfortable and quiet and the staff hospitable. The complimentary afternoon tea and scones was very welcome after a long journey. The location is excellent for a short visit to London - well served with public transport and restaurants and bars. "Great hotel, great location"
The Beaufort Hotel is a great spot to stay in London. It is located within two blocks of Harrods (and the Knightsbridge tube station), very close to Hyde Park, Chelsea, and a host of other great spots. The room was good-sized by London standards, with room for a small desk and chair and bed-side table. It also had a walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom. […] In addition, the room had free wi-fi and a clock-radio with iPod charger. The room was spotless when I arrived and was returned to that condition by the staff each day. The hotel also has free drinks (including beer and mixed drinks) in the lobby from 15:00-23:00 every day, and water and soda are free all day. The staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful, getting me into a room early when mine wasn't ready to check in to when I arrived before the posted check-in time. This was much appreciated after a long overnight trip from the U.S. As mentioned there is much to do and see nearby, quick Tube access, and, if you like to walk, Buckingham Palace is within 1.5 miles. While it is not cheap (nor terribly expensive by London standards), I would heartily recommend the Beaufort and would stay there again in the future. "Very pleasant stay."
I was in London on business. The hotel was an easy walk to the Tube as well as several nice little places to eat. nearby transportation places most all of London at your disposal. The court where the hotel is located is a mixed residential area making it very quite and pleasant. The hotel staff were all quite helpful and pleasant. I can't think of […] a single complaint. Arriving at the room was humorous. As the night clerk showed the amenities neither the safe nor the TV remote worked - though I'm not certain if there really were mechanical difficulties or the young gent himself. The room was warm. I went to the window to open it and found it already open. It remained open for the rest of the week, the room remained warm. It was March. The room I was in was a single, I believe it was the least expensive (still not cheap!), and had a very small window. It was small even by London or New York standards and easily the smallest room I've had (Exec Platinum Flier). Since there wasn't room for a dresser, I never really unpacked. The desk was a table. The desk chair was your basic four leg inexpensive dining room chair. It was a great night stand since there was no room for night stands either. For the price, there are larger, more open room layouts around London. However, since this trip was short notice, those were not an option this time. If I had to be in the room for any length of time, I'm not certain I could. Fortunately my schedule kept me out and about. I am not a slight man but I fit in an economy airline seat with the tray table down (ok, it's snug). If you are larger than I am, you will not enjoy this room nor will you likely be able to fit in the bathroom. If you are able to avail yourself, the hotel has a tea every afternoon and an open bar every evening. I was told that even when the bar (a well stocked cabinet beside the front desk :) isn't open, that I should feel free to come down and the desk would open it for me. Better than a mini bar! Pga kluss med fly avganger, ble vi værende i London i to dager, og bestilte via hotels.com kl 0800 om morgenen, og fikk sjekk inn kl 0930 på hotellet! Fikk ett oppgradert rom, selv om det lå i "kjelleren" var det et stort og lyst rom. Stille og rolig nabolag, Harrods rett rundt hjørnet. "Excelente!!!"
El Beaufort está ubicado en una calle de un altísimo nivel, a sólo dos cuadras de Harrods y a un paso de muy buenos restaurantes, cafes, boutiques y estaciones del metro. "Fint hotell i London"
Hotellet er fint og personalet gjør virkelig mye for at du føler deg velkommen. Beliggenheten er super midt i sentrum av London, Gåavstand til utstillinger og museer. Eneste, men stort problem er at det er lite mulighet til å sove, det er nemlig uvanlig lydt. "hôtel de charme aux chambres petites, mais idéalement situé"
L'hôtel est situé au centre de Londres, à 2 pas d'Hydes park, à côté de chez Harrods, dans un quartier très chic. Cet hôtel de charme done l'impression d'être invité chez des amis anglais. "Sehr empfehlenswert, bis auf einen kleinen Makel"
Vom Service bis zu den Zimmern ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel. Leider sind jedoch der Frühstücksraum bzw. die Sitzgelegenheiten dazu sehr unbequem und unvorteilhaft zum Frühstücken. "zentral gelegenes Hotel im Kolonialstil"
Das Beaufort Hotel wurde in der Kategorie als Luxus Hotel angezeigt, davon ist es jedoch noch etwas entfernt. Personal sehr hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend. Kein Restaurant im Hotel, kleines Frühstück wird auf Zimmer angeboten. Hotel liegt sehr zentral, 10 min. von Harrods und Hydepark entfernt und doch in der Seitenstraße sehr ruhig gelegen. Entgegen […] Fotos und Angaben auf der homepage waren die Zimmer viel zu klein und die gebuchte Juniorsuite entsprach einem DZ standard. Dafür war es wiederum zu teuer. Kostenfreie Drinks wurden angeboten aus einem Kühlschrank neben der Reception, also keine Bar wie beschrieben. Keine minibars auf dem Zimmer, die Flure und Gänge sind so schmal und eng, dass mit Koffern ein Erklimmen der Zimmer im 4. OG abenteuerlich war. Es exisitiert ein alter Personenaufzug für max. 2 Pers. und extrem langsam. Am Sonntag wurde keinerlei Roomservice betrieben, was nicht nachvollziehbar war.
