comodo e pulito ben posizionato sul fiume ma un pos distante da servizi trasporto pubblici

Posizionato in modo ottimale sulla riva del fiume. Il quartiere intorno la sera è molto vivo con una infinità di ristoranti e locali. Si trova a 10 minuti di camminata da china town e a 10 minuti di camminata da Orchard rd (la via centrale con tutti i negozi). L'abergo in se non è bellissimo, le camere abbastanza piccole e con arredamento un po' datato. Ma per il tempo che io sono stato in albergo, la camera andava più che bene.

L'albergo si trova in una zona residenziale di Singapore. Si trova sulla linea della metro che ti porta dall'aeroporto in centro città. In 25 minuti si raggiunge dall'aereoporto. Nelle vicinanze dell'albergo si trova la zona Bugis molto viva. Non è molto lontano nemmeno da little india. Purtroppo per mangiare non ho trovato vicino nulla, a parte il mc donald che si trova esattamente sotto l'albergo. La cosa ottima è che l'entrata dell'albergo è a 20mt dalla fermata della metro, quindi ottimo per muoversi .Lo stato dell'albergo è impeccabile, le camere sono belle e pulite e con arredamento moderno. Molto carina la finestra della camera che è grande quanto il muro che dà sull'esterno. Il personale molto disponibile. All'interno dell'albergo c'è anche un ufficio che organizza le gite per la città.

bellissimo hotel, metro bugis a 5 minuti a piedi. Moderno e molto curato nel design. Lavasciuga a gettoni molto comode.

Batam si trova 20 chilometri a sud di Singapore e può essere raggiunta in traghetto (tre quarti d'ora di tragitto). Apart from the 3 days 2 nights stay at the hotel, the only service that was not to our expectation is the toping-up or replenishment of the toiletries such as soap, shampoo, bath gel and new towels when the room is being cleaned. For that, I rated the service a "2". I hope to see an improvement on the aspect for our future stay at Holiday Inn. As […] for the surrounding neighboring, there is nothing much to go to or hang out except the sea sports near waterfront. The pool at the hotel was great especially with kids swimming and playing. "suite room needs some feminine touch."
Initially regretted booking this hotel because of the inconveniences attached to it..for first timers like us, not knowing what I'm dealing cost me more ..first u have to take the ferry to get there plus a daredevil taxi ride to get to the resort...the resort/room is not too bad actually comfortable, just need some feminine touch, hems of the sofa covers […] and cutains are starting to get worn out and dirty..room smells of mildew on ur first entrance but after opening all the windows it was alright.Food are expensive inside the resort. the complimentary trip to the mall are awesome..over all..relaxing Continua a leggere
When i turned on the taps in the toilets, the water flowing out was in yellow tint colour. Took quite a while for it to turn almost but not completely clear. Overall, my kids enjoyed the pools very much!
"Holiday Inn Batam - superb hotel but costly meals"
The hotel was all I could hope for. Clean tidy, excellent staff and service and excellent food and service. People can argue it is not 5 star but it is certainly as good as any 4 star I have stayed in in the UK and the staff were curteous and helpful. the onsite facilities include a games room with full size snooker table as well as Wii games and other […] options. The sports bar has an excellent duet that sing each night and there is a Karoake bar too, if you feel the urge (though we didn;t use it and it seemed empty). The swimming pool is clean and warm with free sunloungers, there is a spa with free sauna and a gym with all expected equipement. Food and drink was also of a high standard with four restaurants on site (Chinese, Thai, Japanese and the Terrace bar which provides western, indian and indonesian options) but, whilst the hotel was a good price for the quality of its rooms, the food and drink were charged at full UK or US hotel rates. My food and drink bill at the end of 5 days was twice my room bill for the stay! This meant it was pretty empty of an evening, as all those in the know headed for the local establishments to get their food and drink at a third the price charged in the hotel. Nevertheless, if you are happy to laze by the pool or go shopping at one of the massive shopping malls (with bargains galore, even I bought a leather jacket at £15) and need litle more, this is a superb place and I would fully recommend it. If the hotel bars and restuarants are too expensive, head for town and soak up some local culture. A nice palce, even if drinks are over priced. Continua a leggere
"Holiday Inn Resort Batam"
We had a three night stay in Singapore and a three night stay in at the Holiday Inn Resort, Batam. This hotel is in Indonesia. We got the BatamFast Ferry from harbourfront in Singapore. You will need $10 US (or equivalent) to enter Indonesia - Visa's can be gained at the terminal in Indonesia. The nearest ferry terminal to the hotel is at 'Waterfront' […] - ferries to thei point only seem to go in the morning. The other ferry point (Sekapang?) is about a ten minute taxi drive away through areas of abject poverty. There is no ATM near to the Sekapang terminal. The hotel itself is a beautiful, tranquil, well-appointed and well-staffed establisment. The staff were all very courteous, friendly and helpful. The pool(s) are excellent - clear water. The gym is fine - two running machines, an exercise bike - dumbbells, punch-bag weight machine with all the usual stations, chilled water, air con. Our room was excellent - two bedrooms - shower room, separate en-suite bathroom / shower. Two toilets, lounge, two big TV's - free water every day. Tap water is clear -though best staying with bottled water. Room was air-conditioned. Room was cleaned whilst we went for breakfast - fantastic. I recommend the breakfastit was fantastic and well worth the money. There is a complimentary bus to a shopping mall every dau - we didn't go out and other guests said they wouldn't bother with visiting the mal. The restaurant we used, the main one, was excellent. All-in-all a really good resort - excellent food, excellent service, excellent accomodation. We went in August 2011 and it was not at all busy - the weather was great. An off the beaten track oasis. "The best hotel to stay in Batam"
If you are considering this hotel over Harris--do not do it. This is definitely a much better hotel, probably the best on this particular island.

The hotel was better than expected. Service was pleasant and the staff were very welcoming. The room was the best part. It was much bigger than expected with a separate living room area and a balcony with a pool view. The pool was well-maintained except for the indoor lap pool which needed a good cleaning. 조식을 제외하고 저렴한 가격의 비용에 가족들이 충분히 휴식할 수 있었다.

잘 훈련되고 전반적으로 정돈된 깔끔한 인상으로 다시 찾고 싶다. 특히 야외 수영장은 아이들과 아내가 만족해했다. 단한가지 아쉬운 점은 객실카펫 먼지가 눈에 띄여 옥에 티로 기억된다. 직원훈련은 아주훌륭함.
