Ci siamo trovati molto bene. La camera era pulita, il letto molto comodo, forse l'unico piccolo difetto è che la camera è un po' piccola ma niente che possa rovinare il giudizio complessivo. Camera comfortevole, personale gentile. La colazione offerta era molto semplice ma soddisfacente. E' disponibile anche una piccola palestra e il the e il caffè […] sono a disposizione 24 ore su 24 nella sala della colazione oltre che attraverso il bollitore in camera. Abbiamo apprezzato poter collegare il pc anche con il cavo oltre che con il wireless dato che spesso il nostro pc ha qualche difetto nel colegamento wifi, è un'opportunità in più che abbiam trovato molto utile. Consiglieremmo sicuramente quest'hotel magari meglio avendo a disposizione un' auto che permetta di non essere vincolati all'uso della navetta dell'hotel o dei mezzi pubblici/taxi. Con un'auto si ha la possibilità di parcheggiare gratutamente presso l'hotel e con poca spesa al parking municipale in prossimità del traghetto che collega Staten Island a Manhattan, comodissimo, funzionante 24 ore su 24. La traversata tra l'altro è molto bella, con vista sulla Statua della Libertà e sui grattacieli di Manhattan Sud. Staten Island è interessante tra l'altro per le sue case in stile coloniale e per l'ambiente, oasi di verde e refrigerio, completamente diverso rispetto a Manhattan. Concludendo: hotel consigliato per il suo buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, come sistemazione alternativa per la visita di New York e anche perchè permette di scoprire una zona che magari diversamente non verrebbe visitata. Quiet and clean... Didn't like the breakfast too much but for the price it was ok.

Comfortable!clean and friendly. Bed great. Enjoyed staying here. And the comp. Breakfast was convienent. The guest across the hall left the tv on loud most of the night. Not sure the guest was even in room. Otherwise relaxing.

We are at the hotel for our one night in Staten Island. The room and the hotel were clean and very nicely appointed. We enjoyed the stay and will return when we find our selves back on Staten Island again. Thank you.

Not a terrible room, just extremely small. Good for business travel.

I booked a specific room online and did not get what I had paid for. I called to confirm that I would be getting the room I had booked and paid for and I was assured that it was going to happen. When I got to the hotel I was informed that the room I had booked was not available. I was very upset by this when I was informed when I was checking in. I […] was also told at the time of check in that there would be an additional charge to my credit card of $50 in case of damages which I was not aware of when I booked the room online. Although the service and level of care was excellent, we were notheless dissapointed with with the fact tha there was no hotel shuttle offered during the time of our stay, Tuesday-Wednesday. Although the website did state that shuttles were available, it did not specify that shuttles were limited. A more detailed explainaton of the policy associated […] with the availability of this shuttle is needed. My room was very small, and there was no milk at breakfast. The room was clean. The furnishings were attractive, and the staff was friendly.

The location of this hotel suited our purposes, but the rooms are extremely small. They do not offer an in-room iron...probably because the room is too small for the ironing board and iron. One day our bed wasn't made. Our room was located on the first floor, where the noise level from the staff was very loud well into the night. Comfortable hotel. Rooms are small, so don't anticipate hanging out a lot there and being able to stretch out. Very clean. A bit far from the ferry so the complementary shuttles are definitely necessary. Make sure you sign up for the shuttles to get to and get back from the ferry. Could have used more time options but if they don't have the times that […] you want, there is public transportation. Learn the bus number and route stop so you don't end up getting stuck somewhere on Staten Island. If you're planning on running the NYC Marathon, this is a great place to stay the night before the run. There are car services that will take you to the start and you don't have to wake up ridiculously early to get there. Will stay here again either to do the marathon, or for an inexpensive place to stay next time I take a leisure trip to the city. Continua a leggere

A nice alternative to staying in Manhattan. Quiet, friendly staff, but easily accessible to the rest of SI if traveling by car (which I was). Very clean and well-maintained. Will be my go-to hotel as I travel to New York/Staten Island several times a year.

I chose this hotel because of the rate, and also because of the free shuttle service to and from the ferry. Unfortunately, this was not a good choice. The shuttle only runs at certain times, and it seems that if no one is going to the ferry, then the shuttle won't go even if someone needs to be picked up. This was very disappointing and frustrating. […] And this would be why I would not stay here again, or recommend it to someone unless you have your own car/transport. Very small room I mean 10x10 ,no HD tv bad location.I mean this room should be at 35$ a night. Maybe just as a sleep over stop.

The hotel room was clean and had a nice big bed and was comfy, even with my bad back. We chose this hotel due to the price, the free breakfast and the free transfers to the free "Staten Island Ferry". We found the staff helpful and the breakfast good with cereal, toast, waffles, cakes and fruit. There was also tea, coffee and juice. Shuttle times […] were ok but none on Wednesdays? and on Tuesdays the last one back was at 4pm? There was an S62 bus service which runs near and at $2.25 was good value. In total it takes about 1 hour to get in to Manhattan from this hotel. On last day took a bus trip to the Staten Island Mall (about 4 miles and 2 buses away) and got some good deals at Macy's and Sears. A good value hotel for our 4 night stay to visit New York but If I had the extra money I would have liked to have stayed in Manhattan. Continua a leggere

When we first arrived we had booked a non-smoking room. And of course there were non avaliable. So we had to spend a night in a smokers it was the worse. It smelled so bad couldnt wait for morning to come. We showed proof to the desk clerk and later that day we had a non-smoking room . It only took 16 hrs

Incredibly SMALL rooms. Two people max. A king bed rom left you with about a 1 1/2' to walk all the way around the bed. Hotel looks fairly new and appears in good condition. Our room had roaches though on two different nights.

Overall stay was pleasent. This is a newer hotel, clean and staff was friendly. Front desk staff were nice but not as knowledgeable as expected to be. Unsure of places to eat in the area, no info provided at check-in about breakfast or WiFi connection. I had to ask this specifically. The king room was extremely SMALL! Just enough room to walk but the […] bed and TV. The King bed was also not a full king size, my feet were hanging off the bed, im 6feet tall.... You must open your luggage on the bed as there is no room on the floor. Only to store it closed upright. There was also a strong perfume scent in the room, that was a new air freshener installed..front desk was contacted and they happily removed it. The shower should come with instructions..had to call front desk again to turn on the shower head. The switch was located under the tap??? Who makes showers and tubs like this? I have never had a hotel shower turn on like that! The room was not cleaned until the third day there. The location was less than a minute to the highway 440 that goes to New Jersey and bridge to Brooklyn. PLEASE keep in mind, if making regular over the bridge to Brooklyn there is NO toll going there but coming back to Staten Island the current is over $10 per car! For us, the location was not convenient as most of our activities were in Manhattan and Brooklyn. However, for the price it was sufficient. It was a lot more expensive to stay in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Wifi is free in room but if you need to use a printer the business centre charges you to use their computer + printing. Parking is also limited on the premises since there are three (3) hotels on the same location! The closest food establishment was Wendys. Overall, for the price we paid, it was a good deal being a 2 star hotel. However, we would not stay here again due to the remote location away from Manhattan and Brooklyn. Continua a leggere

I am very glad to have stayed at the Comfort Inn on Staten Island. Although the hotel is far out, you do have the bus that will take you to the ferry. The hotel did have a shuttle to the ferry, but i prefer to catch the bus. Great stay overall, and will be staying there again.

- New hotel - very small rooms - Breakfast - same everyday and rubbery eggs - Location - quiet but if you are a tourist, consider time travelled by ferry back and forth. Takes about 80 minutes from Hotel to Manhattan. That is almost 3 hours per day - Hotel shuttle to ferry - great drivers but on certain days it is only until 4 PM. Otherwise, it is 10 […] PM. If you want to stay on late in the city, you either need to take the MTA bus or a taxi. Room was very small and had a sour smell. Breakfast was meager. Location was far fro NY Ferry. Streets on Staten Island are in terrible shape.

I've stayed here several times and like that they have added shuttle service to the Staten Island Ferry. PROS: Very clean, Comfortable beds, Waffles for breakfast CONS: Smallish room - not great for those with lots of luggage The only negative criticism on this visit is the checkin process took much too long because of a problem with another guest's […] reservation. This entailed all the attention of the person who had been handling my check in and that of another staffperson. This Comfort Inn is a good place to stay for a night. It is clean, relatively comfortable and quiet. The neighborhood is ok but definitely not upscale. It is a good value, particularly with the free breakfast. If you need a place to stay on Staten Island and want a good value this place works.

Recently we came all the way from Central Florida up to Staten Island, New York. We made last minute plans, and Margarita the manager took great care of us. Also, a guy hotel worker showed us one of rooms, and was very helper. We felt very well taken care of and would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Island.

Nice alternative to high priced NYC accomodations. A bit out of the way, you need transportation to get into Manhattan, it was comfortable (for 2). Hotel does have a shuttle to ferry, but we found it easier to drive to ferry and park there.

The stay was very relaxing. The staff was great and that service was beyond good. The room even though small, was in perfect condition, and everything was taken care of. The location was about 25 mins from the ferry via the hotel shuttle, where the bus takes about 45. The area around the hotel was quite satisfactory, with a LA fitness, Wendys and a […] bowling alley right there on the block. The accomodations were clean, and well kept... I was quite comfortable with our stay... My two girls and I stayed and the room was large enough for us... had read lots of reviews about room being too small... Did not find this an inconvenience at all... Good place to rest, and good place to stay for visit into NYC.... Wish it was closer to Staten Island […] Ferry, however.... only complaint.... All hostels and such full or too expensive in Manhattan, decided to stay here. Was on the expensive side for us but cheaper than manhattan hotels and hostels. Had all-night bus service running nearby to Staten Island Ferry, which was free and ran all night. Room was comfortable, staff kept bathroom clean & stocked, made beds. Only things were a big […] stain on rug which would probably require replacement of the carpet to remove (red wine?), and some coarse hairs on the fitted sheet (we slept on top of the flat sheet). Noise in hall could be heard but we had quiet neighbors so no big deal. Breakfast was very good for continental breakfast and was also kept stocked. Hotel staff also very friendly and would cede elevator to us etc. Only problem for us was that the transit back and forth to manhattan took about two hours each way considering bus, ferry, and waiting at each. I have lived in Staten Island all my life, didn't even realize Comfort Inn was there. I went on hotels.com and found a great deal for Comfort Inn and we loved it. I will definitely go back.

My femaly and I We were very happy . Very good hotel with low price. Becouse hotel new and they are need more custemers.

Although the hotel was comparatively cheap, clean, and the staff were rather polite, a couple of things affected my overall viewpoint: - Hotel is far from NYC. You have to take hotel shuttle which is not operating Mon-Wed and a ferry which is not always on time. - We checked in about 8:30 pm, she gave us a room close to entrance on first floor, we asked […] for a room on upper levels, she said no way because they are fully booked. I came back later to ask a question, but noticed that she was gone and the new reception gave a room on 3rd floor to a couple who just arrived. - We had to tolerate lots of noise first night of our stay so we asked for changing room, they said OK but although according to the guy half the rooms were empty, they never changed our room. Room was small but I knew that going in. The noise was an issue. Walls are very thin. All in all this stay fulfilled my requirements. I would suggest a means of transportation.

I have stayed here since the first month they opened. The hotel was always reasonably priced and clean. That it still is. However, the service has gone down and the place has gotten very noisy. There is so much door slamming and loud hallways. This has been true on my last two visits. On the first night, the security lock somehow flipped across and hooked on the bolt when I shut the door as I left the room and locked me out. Hotel staff had to almost break the door down to get it open. They gave me another room. My room was not made up on one day. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful.
