No one thing really adds or detracts from this hotel. It's basic but still good value. Buffet breakfast was included though it was basic. (No bacon & most of the baked beans were gone). Service was fine. Location is excellent. Room was good.

Perfect location for visiting Warwick Castle just a short drive away. It was handy having a large restaurant next door. Very well located for transport links.

Perfectly organised hotel for family stopping over to 'do' the shakespeare sights. We will definately stay again and 'do' warwickshire next time. Only thing is you must book at the attached pub porridge pot as they had a large coach party come in on saturday night and they couldn't fit us in.

For what we needed it was fine, bit disappointed in the breakfast, being coeliac I needed a gluten free breakfast but that limited me to just egg or yoghurt out of a huge spread, so maybe their dietary range could be looked at.

Hotel was clean and friendly and a very welcome break at just off the motorway. Very easy to find without sat nav. Would also thoroughly recommend the porridge pot next door. The carvery was inexpensive and superb value.

A lovely one night stay for our family of 2 adults and 2 children (ages 12 & 6). Check-in was quick and easy and although we were given a room opposite the lift, it wasn't noisy at all! The inclusive hot buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise; we were expecting cold continental! And the free WiFi came in handy, too. I stayed at the hotel for 5 days as I was working locally. The location is convenient, close to m40 and J15. The room was clean but extremely cold and requested additional heater which made a huge difference. The heater was on in my room when I entered, really appreciated this. The tv is very old school with only the basic channels and the reception […] of the arial was poor. Very basic amenities in the bathroom, but you can request additional things like shower caps from reception. We booked an overnight stay at this hotel on the way to visit Oxford. I had asked for a room on a lower floor and was given a room with facilities for disabled guests, which explained why the room had no couch, to allow room for a wheelchair etc. The reception staff were particularly helpful and the room was clean and comfortable and the price was economical. great location for Warwick Castle ,also close to Stratford on Avon. Good clean room ,bit of a squeeze with 3 when sofa bed out . Porridge Pot also worth a visit. We would visit again .

Air conditioning was very noisy, too noisy to sleep (so we had to sleep with no heating). There also a hidden charge, we had to pay for parking, in an out-of-town hotel! Irritating. We quite often stay in Holiday Inn Express, I will not take it as a known reliable choice in future.

The room was clean and comfortable, though the air was dry. The staff were very helpful and friendly and even put up with our group in the reception area until late making a bit of noise! Very near motorway, but sound insulation in room very good. Hardly noticed any noise. Clean, modern, no complaints. Pity they could'nt update the TV in the rooms to a flat screen model with Freeview. Channels very limited unless you wanted to pay extra for films. Not many amenities but you get what you pay for.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, we could'nt fault anything. The only thing that i could comment on was the lack of a second choice of food to go with beans on the Monday morning. Sunday was good, we had a choice of scrambled eggs, sausage, and beans. On monday morning we only had sausage and beans. Although we booked on line at a reduced […] price, people who had paid the full rate, must have felt let down over the content of the breakfast. The only other issue i have, is having to pay a car park fee, i feel it should have been free to hotel guests. We will certainly stay at this hotel again, and would recommend it to others. We arranged a one night stay in the hotel to attend a wedding in the area. The hotel appears to be relatively new and has well appointed rooms and public areas. The hotel was generally very clean and the room was comfortable (the bed was a little on the soft side but we had a decent night’s sleep nevertheless). There’s a choice of firm or soft pillows […] too. Holiday Inn Express hotels provide a complimentary breakfast – mostly continental but some cooked items too. This was well cooked and there was a very good selection. The dining room wasn’t too busy and the service was attentive. There were a couple of areas where felt small improvements could be made: 1. Upon arrival, we were told that we would need to pay for car parking (£3 per day). Whilst this isn’t an excessive charge, it wasn’t mentioned to us at the time of booking. However, we thought that it would be better to increase the room rate by £3 per night to recoup the cost that way? 2. When we checked in, the receptionist quite firmly told us on three occasions that breakfast would be very busy in the morning and that we really should consider having breakfast early. In the event, we took breakfast at the busiest time and did not experience any difficulties. We felt that the message could have been communicated in a less instructional manner. 3. There was no plug socket near the mirror in the bedroom – not ideal for women straightening their hair! Continua a leggere

The Hotel was reasonable but to be frank the discourteous staff were not. I would recommend this only if it happens to be the cheapest deal you can find in the area and you are on a tight budget!

This was extremley close to Warwick castle and a perfect choice if visiting. We stayed in a family room and having read comments on here saying the sofa beds were not made up i emailed ahead and requested this was made up. On arrival at 10pm our room was perfectly ready for us. Nothing flash but definately a great stay with young family.

Superb location for transport links across the region.Additionally area is quite tranquel despite the location.Breakfast was reasonable,though hectic but there was sufficient choice despite the orange juice dispenser breaking down.

drinks too expensive, double bed too small, uncomfortable, springs coming through, plug in sink knob missing making it hard to operate, constant noise from motorway when sat outside, noisy neighbours, not much choice at breakfast, other than that it was great fun.

I wasnt aware that there was a £3 parking charge until I got to the hotel. Breakfast was a shambles, dirty tables, no bread, no mugs, no scrambled egg.
