Al ns. arrivo in camera abbiamo trovato le lenzuola sporche/non cambiate. Fatta presente la questione alla reception, dopo un attimo abbiamo ricevuto una nuova stanza. Per scusarsi ci hanno offerto la colazione gratis. L'hotel è molto pulito, al di là dell'incidente iniziale. Posizione proprio a downtown, vicino allo stadio di baseball e a tutte le altre attrattive. Ottimo anche il business center aperto 24h, con computer e stampanti. Al ristorante si mangia bene e più economicamente che negli altri ristoranti del centro: tutti piuttosto cari.

"room comfort"
i loved the hotel,service,staff,room...but the main problem was the bed,was not comfortable...neither me or my wife had a comfortable night sleeping..mattress was bad..sorry..needs to be changed,flipped,something...love the room to stay but not to sleep...sorry again
"Wonderfully Comfortable"
My wife and I was very impressed with the hotel appearance, staff and cleanliness all around. We don't know about other rooms but the one we chose and stayed in room #244 king size bed with refrig.microwave,treadmill,jauzzi etc. was wonderful the only thing I would do to improof would be to make sure that your parking lot doors to your building after […] dark are locked and only access through with your room card, and need some real eggs served with the wonderful breakfast we had that is a very important part of breakfast - not cheese/egg omlet. "Game Day"
If your looking for good hotel for the kids..this is it. good pool and Bfast. Not much around the hotel. We were in town for Red Wings game.

"Needs Improvement"
Bed was broken, curtains wouldn't close so the parkinglot light was in the room all night long. Pool ruined everyone's swimsuit because of to much chlorine. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was pretty and in a convient location.
"Very convenient"
15 minutes from downtown and airport; really close to restaurants and gas station; very accessible to freeway. Check-in was easy. When I got to the room it was really hot but otherwise I had no complaints. I would stay here again. O, the breakfast was fairly decent too.
Great bed nice room the only bad thing about the room was the shower water was cold both day

"Holiday Inn Express - Allen Park"
Rooms were very nice and set up with fridge and microwave. Breakfast is a lot more than cereal and sweet rolls. Hot omelettes, bacon, biscuits, cinamon rolls. Heated indoor pool. Shopping center nearby. Sabina"s (Polish) restaurant close by. Access / egress a little confusing and difficult.

I booked here for my husbands birthday and we really enjoyed our visit. The room wasnt the one I saw in the pictures, so that was a little different, but all in all it was a great room. very comfy! LOVED THE Jacuzzi in the room.. very nice and room for 2!

"Holiday Inn Express, Allen Park, Michigan"
Met my grandchildren who came from Canada. Lovely Hotel, great service, good breakfasts, easy parking. We spent a day at Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum. Easy to get to the museum and villiage. Shopping was very close. We will go again. JSP

We stayed at this hotel when attending an event in downtown Detroit, and what a pleasant surprise! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable with super clean cotton linens, and the pillows were even marked "soft" and "firm" for your choice, all comfortable. "Dearborn Experience"
We were really disappointed in this hotel staff. They were unorganized. We prepaid for the room, arrived at 10:30 pm very tired and were given keys to a room that was occupied with other people., Besides being embarrassing, it was scrary to think they could give keys to your room to other people. WE had hauled all our luggage there and had to go back […] to the lobby, then to another room. It several minutes to get it straightened out. "Nice motel!"
Very nice motel. Easy to get to. Off the main drag. Everything I expected. Never got cinnamon rolls either day we stayed there. But great breakfast!! Nice pool and HOT spa!!

my husband and i enjoyed our stay, except that we were charged doubled for our suite. i booked the rom thru hotel.com, once we arrived at the holiday inn we were charged again. so disturbing!!!!!!!!!! the receptionist blamed hotel.com for the mess-up, and of course it was the hoilday inn's mistake. so hopefully my bank account does not overdraft due […] to being charged for the same room twice, huh!!!!!! what a mess. "Don't choose this place!!"
Upon checking into this hotel the staff was very rude and tried to charge me again for the room, which had been already pre-paid to hotel.com. The staff was very rude and unhelpful. The breakfast buffet was sooo dirty I was afraid to let my 4 yr old son eat anything there. It looked like they just kept adding food each day to it but never cleaned anything […] or wiped anything down.....DISGUSTING. The only upside was that it was close to Greenfield Village, which is where we were going for a Thomas the Train event. The bathroom was also very dirty and had hair all over the floor and behind the door. This is some of the problems we had but there were more....just safe to say do not pick this place you will be sorry!!! The pictures and reviews made this seem like a very nice hotel but it ended up being the opposite. I am still trying to get the hotel to reverse the charges they charged me for the room (for the same night!!) but they said it would take 5 days to come off my charge. SO, in the meantime it is accruing finance charges that I am sure they won't reimburse. We stayed at a Doubletree in the area two years ago and I wish we would have gone back there instead!! "Nice place. Nice People"
The hotel was well kept and the people were nice and helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool. The only issue we had we brought on ourselves to some extent. My teenage son got to warm and turned the air conditioning on when it was only 40 degrees out. It caused the air to keep kicking on and it was loud and made it hard to sleep. the hotel was just minutes away from the Fillmore and the Motor City Casino. It was very nice, the beds were very comfortable and breakfast was good.

Great Place to Stay. Everything was what we would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. The staff was great..
The towels in the room were dirty and haven been washed.. Just reused and had choclate on them... Nasty..

"Good hotel for the price"
The hotel is good for the price and location. Breakfast is good and the hotel is attentive to guests. Two minor complaints - no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms and no programmable thermostat in the room. If you want heat on, it has to run all night which is an energy suck.

"safe with nice features"
Went to Dearborn to visit The Henry Ford museum. Felt safe at this hotel. It was off of a "back" road, but less than a mile from grocery stores and shopping. Liked the free DVD rental service, even though the DVD we got was scratched.

The hotel was very dated by clean and orderley. The rooms were the same except for the tile floor in the bathroom. It could have used a thorough cleaning. The dirt in the grout lines was not appealing.

We were concerned about the safety of the area as we are not familier with Detroit at all. This hotel was an excellent choice.
