Convenient to places we needed, Wished there was an iron and a coffee pot. Room kept clean, just smaller. Continental coffee left a lot to be desired.

Eveything was wonderful about the stay I had with my two boys at this Hampton Inn. Friendly, considerate staff; beautiful, well-appointed room; great continental breakfast; nice fitness center and pool; lovely decor throughout; and perfectly convenient to everything we wanted to do in Williamsburg. We will definitely be back!!

This is adequate for one overnight. Hotel smells of excessive chlorine for pool. Hall carpets are old and not very well cleaned. Breakfastroom staff very good but room too small fornumber of travelers.

Only looking for a place to sleep overnight, so we weren't able to use or rate its facilities, such as pool, exercise room, game room or business center. Breakfast was very limited, but it was free. Rooms were fairly clean. Hotel had "homey" feeling and atmosphere, however, you could smell cigarette smoke inside despite the nonsmoking facility. Location of hotel was somewhat secluded and quiet, which is nice, butconvenient enough to be within minutes of restaurants and attractions. Overall experience was good. good thing the breakfast was free - the milk was outdated ... the cereal was stale the other food was not visually appealing - bed was unconfortable . air condition was irratic .. bath tub tile looked dirty in places .. hard to located hotel even with directions and address .. would not stay there again

The hotel location was great. Near alot of restaurants and other things to do. Actual hotel a little disappointing, the room really didn't give you a clean cozy feeling. The chair in our room had a nasty stain on it and the floor was really dirty. Walking on it with bear feet felt disgusting. My son's room had some kind of stains on the wall and the […] wall had a big hole in it cover with wall paper. And last but not least we discovered that our room door didn't lock and had to change rooms the second night we were there. Hotel was convenient to many major highways, shopping, and tourist attractions. Staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was somewhat limited in space and selections and uncomfortable with AC on full blast in the breakfast room.

This placed was nasty!! Day 2 we had to wait for towels to be dried before we could get clean towels! So they didn't even have enough towels for each room. Unpleasant staff!!

Having been on the road late in the night it was nice to have a nice place to stay. The hotel was easy to find, the night clerk was very friendly considering it was after 2:00 a.m. The room was clean, the beds were very firm.

Hotel Employees were very nice and helpful; however the rooms had a horrible smell and did not appear to be the cleanest. Continental breakfast was minimum rating; ran out of main food by 9 and did not have extra. My family had to eat cereal. Location was perfect for Williamsburg trip and the kids loved the indoor pool.

The front desk staff were efficient and nice. Check in and out was easy. That is the positive. When we got to our room the door was propped open and a very musty or wet smell was evident. Hotel room was clean, but room was very dark. We also thought the room had a microwave and refrigerator but apparently no rooms in this hotel are equipped with either. The hotel was clean and easy to get to. Hotel is with 5 miles of most attractions. People were friendly and found the room clean. Entire hotel reeks of mold. Walls, floors and ceilings have visible mold in several areas. I have photos if you would to see them. Only one functioning ice machine for the entire hotel which is made worse by the fact that rooms do not have mini fridges. Pool chemicals are way too strong in a failed attempt to cover some of the mold odor and no hot tub. […] I would bet that the VA Dept of health would shut this hotel down. Needed a place to stay in Williamsburg for our vacation. Based on the ratings this seemed like a good hotel for the price. While it seemed clean, the room and common areas were dated and very worn. We arrived at the hotel late on Friday night and if I had been traveling by myself, I would not have stayed. There were people sitting everywhere outside and a couple of the groups were a little loud (drinking and yelling) and blocking the side entrance. There was a large group there and I can understand them grouping and visiting but the loud group […] I don't think was part of that bunch. The room was on the top floor and a nice size, bathroom was not super clean but not too bad. Floor and commode needs to be replaced (age and worn) but water pressure in the room was good and supplies were adequate. There was LOTS of noise early in the morning, think someone had put their kids out in the hallway to play and it also made for a messy hallway where "someone" had torn leaves off the plastic tree by the elevator. Breakfast was interesting, was in a small room on the 2nd floor when there is a large area on the main floor that has lots of tables. There were only about a dozen tables in the room, not much room to walk between them and almost no room to get to the small buffet that was offered. The room was so tiny that the roll away bed was partially on top of the other bed. The sheets were covered in hair, it was disgusting. The pool was very nice, though. When we were checking in, the staff person was not professional, but everyone else was friendly, that worked there. They need mini frig's in the rooms.

The only reason I booked this hotel was because they offer a crib, but when we got to the hotel we were told by the manager that all the cribs were broken. I was very disappointed. Another thing is the smell coming from the AC, they probably haven't changed the filters in a while, my boyfrien woke up with a runny nose.

Days inn is an ok place. Few things that bothered me the most are: lack of good ventilation, the bathroom lacked fan so all the mist from taking the shower lingered all over the room. When I first opened to the room the smell was overwhelming. It seemed to me that somebody was trying to spray air refresher to cover up the smell of the room. I complain […] about it because the smell was making me dizzy. In addition there was no fridge or microwave. The lack of fridge was a big minus for me. But other than the place was ok. The room was fine. No fridge in the room. Out of the five floors, only 2 of them had running ice machines. There was no ice the entire time we were there. When we inquired, we were told that maybe people were filling up coolers. We asked if they could put a sign up that said not to fill up coolers. They would not. Everything was great! When we first arrived, the reservation was for a room with 2 double beds, when we originally booked for a King bed. This was not the hotel's fault. It was the mistake of ONE of their workers. Probably overlooked or misread.
