Hotel molto ben collocato,quartiere residenziale e tranquillo,tutti i negozi nei dintorni. Metro e bus a 150 mt,comunque a piedi potete tranquillamente arrivare in ogni punto della city con una tranquilla passeggiata.Condizioni degli ambienti buona ma camere molto piccole (la ns era una superior non oso immaginare la dimensione di quelle standard),va […] bene lo stile essenziale svedese ma 30 cm ai lati del letto,comodino (solo 1 ) che non puo' ospitare nemmeno una rivista,bagno essenziale ma con doccia senza cabina e senza pedana (solo un cristallo la separa dal water e lavello dove bisogna stare attenti alla mensola nel lavarsi),tubo con grucce al posto di un armadio,buona dotazione di prodotti di cortesia (incluso accappatoi e pantofole).Il solito problema dei paesi nordici per dormire coi piumini sul letto che fanno sauna garantita.Ottima la colazione con maggiore assortimento sul salato che sul dolce. Caratterisca la hall tipo biblioteca e libri anche nella stanze (peccato che abbia visto solo titoli svedesi,magari si potrebbe tener conto della clientela straniera anche per i canali tv,solo rai 1 per giunta senza audio gli ultimi 2 gg.) The hotel is very centrally located and we did all sightseeing by walking. The staff in the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Internet access is provided via WLAN in the rooms, but code and password need to be entered again and again e.g. when the ipad is taken out of the room. This was a bit cumbersome. This hotel has a fantastically cozy atmosphere. We loved all the books. We got upgraded from an ordinary room to a "superior" one, which was very nice, but made me wonder how small the ordinary one is, because the superior was quite cramped, for two people anyway. Everything was extremely stylish and high-quality, but not the most functional of setups […] - bathroom layout very poorly thought through. Also there was a strange smell in the bathroom. From the entry to the hotel, where the lobby is with a sitting area with book shelfs, the cafe, restaurant to the rooms where you again find a small selection of books. Really a special hotel in the most positive way. Good breakfast restaurant and a funny southern europe style cafe situated alongside the restaurant. All in all a memorable hotel.

The only problem was at breakfast because it was so busy you had to queue and it was difficult to find a table to sit at.

Spent 5 night stay in February. The restaurant is surprisingly good. I ended up having a second dinner there to try out some of the other menu items, and any bar that serves Caffrey's on tap is worth a visit in my opinion. On the colder nights, it drove me to warmer places, like the lobby bar to do work, which wasn't a bad thing. Single rooms are small, but I expected that. Nice hotel convenient to everything.

Too bad service at the restaurant in the evening. Otherwise location is good, close to everything.

Even though the room was quite small, it was all I needed. Breakfast was good. Internet didn't work, but no real crisis for one night.

Hotel was very nice. Good location: Great shops and restaurants in Östermalm. Easy to get to the center with metro. Rooms were clean, but small. Beds very comfortable. Hotel had also a very good sauna and gym. Breakfest was excellent and staff in Hotel is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this hotel.:-)

This is a great hotel, at a great price, in a great location. I work at Stureplan and this is very close to the office. It is a clean and modern hotel. It's interior decoration is very nice. It's rooms are nice. You get little ear plugs which is a bonus. Also get Face products in the bathroom which is very nice. Breakfast is great with a lot of variation and good times. They even have their own fitness center which I'm planning on using next visit (already next week). OK hotel, but with some strange things. Our room, 708, had the bed facing the bathroom GLASS door. Very unappealing. We also heard other people complain, like us, about the poor shower design that gets everything wet. We were also surprised that there were no pay per view films. Cozy atmosphere, small but clean and fresh rooms. Good brekfast, but too much people during the weekend - there were queues to get to the food.

All the reviews were accurate - great hotel, centrally located, good value, friendly staff, confortable but small room, and nice breakfast. My only gripe was that the walls are thin in the budget single rooms on teh sixth floor, and I was kept awake by a particularly active pair next door (harrumph)... I suppose it could happen in any hotel?

Excellent location * short stroll to Metro transport and city sights. The WiFi in my room was not working. I was immediately moved to a more suitable room. The staff were incredibly helpful in all aspects, The rooms were very comfortable, especially the beds. Well fitted out. The breakfast was a feast!!

Convenient location hotel but room was too small even for a single person

Had an excellent buffet breakfast. Enjoyed the robes and free chocolates in the room; great central location close to restaurants.

Excellent hotel. Rooms are comfortable but the best thing about it is the location. Just a few blocks up from the Ostermalm foodhall and walkable distance to the water and all the attractions in the old town. Breakfast buffet was also excellent.

The location is 1 metro stop away from the central train station which made travel to the airport quite easy. It was also conveniently located near several great supermarkets. There was free internet and breakfast buffet was fantastic. The best and unexpected gesture was during the morning of my flight, since I had to leave prior to the breakfast buffet, […] the staff had prepared a packed breakfast for me to take to the airport. I spent 4 nights at this hotel and enjoyed the place. Ostermalm is a lovely neighborhood and Nybrogatan is full of interesting shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is ok, not great, although it is a comfortable place to spend an evening. The hotel breakfasts were excellent--far better than those of my colleagues' who were staying at a more expensive […] hotel. I didn't use the gym. I would certainly stay here again. We didn't know Stockholm at all and therefore in the beginning we were a little bit worried about the distances. The area of the hotel turned out to be our favorite place. Next to metro station we could easily go everywhere plus really close to where the buses for most of the museums and boat trips start! The bed was really comfortable and we were quite happy to go back in the comfort of our room after spending the whole day sightseeing and walking around. Lovely, lovely hotel in a great neighborhood of Stockholm. Our room was extremely quiet, though on the second floor. Breakfast was bountiful, although crowded on the weekend.

in a great residential neighborhood but very close to all. The only negative was that the gym was a little weird and stinky and not clear whether included in the rate.

I stayed in a single and then a twin. The single was smartly laid out and there was plenty of room. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Good buffet breakfast included.

Superb location within short walking distance to the City centre. Shops and the fantastic Ostermalm's Saluhall is only a couple of minutes a way. The hotel was nice, in a quiet neighborhood, with a great breakfast. The room was small, with a double bed, a small desk, and a convertible sofa/bed. There was a small refrigerator which you could store your personal food in, and a lockable safe, both for no extra charge. My only disappointment in the room was that there was no dresser to put my clothes […] in -- I had to live out of my suitcase for the week I was there. The room was supposedly air conditioned, but it was not cool enough on the hottest days so be careful if you're traveling over the summer. Ask for a room facing into the courtyard which provides better shade from the sun and more quiet if you need to keep the window open. The hotel has bicycles you can borrow for as long as you want, but they only have a few and they have no reservation system, so you need to wake up early if you want one. The hotel provides wireless through the 'homerun' hotspot system run by Telia. These hotspots are also in other parts of town (and the country) which is nice if you're out and want to get online, just find a Wayne's Coffee which also uses the same system. it's a quick walk to the center of town (as long as you're not lugging your suitcases -- for that, use the metro which is two short blocks away). Perfectly situated, 5 Minutes from Hop-on Hop Off Boots, big nice rooms, fantastic breakfast, room-maids could clean a little bit more (dirty mugs stayed in room, after cleaning etc.). Overall very nice hotel

This has to be one of the nicest hotels in central Stockholm, great location and excellent staff with a very positive attitude. I have stayed at most of the up market hotels in Stockholm and this certainly ranks among the best...

The Mornington hotel is right next to the T-Bana and in a great surrounding neighborhood. The restaurant/bar in the lobby is awesome and the room was clean and well-appointed. However, the hotel is currently under construction, which meant noise began each weekday morning at 6:45, with drilling that sounded like it was in our wall starting promptly […] at 8 and continuing for at least an hour until we could get out of the room. Moreover, we returned to our room on the second night to a note from the hotel indicating that we wouldn't have heat or hot water available from 8 pm to 7 am and that they hoped this was ok. Perhaps with advance warning we could have planned ahead, but returning after 8 pm and finding this note was a bit of a surprise. If this hotel is still available for the great price on hotels.com after the construction, it will be well worth it, but in the meantime, maybe not... Continua a leggere

the hotel had overbooked and so gave me a room SMALLER than what i had booked and payed for. the room was dirty and only the bedding had been changed since the previous guest. i spent most of my trip at reception complaining
