Lo consiglio caldamente per chi vuole visitare Boston e stare vicino a tutto! L'albergo non è a 5 stelle ma va benissimo anche per una famiglia. E' pulito e silenzioso. Non ho preso la prima colazione per cui non so dirvi da quel punto di vista ma per il resto ok!

A pochi passi da tutto, pulito e confortevole. Ottima la presenza in hotel di Spa e Fitness. Unica pecca: il collegamento Internet, che è troppo costoso, ed in alcune zone dell'hotel dovrebbe essere wireless con almeno qualche ora gratuita.

"Ok for the price"
The room was clean and comfortable, although a bit dated. There were a number of families (single moms with kids) using the Suite hotel as their home. Not what I was looking for in a stay in the area.
The hotel is conveniently located, and the price is right. It is a little seedy, but it was clean. I've stayed at other Homesteads that were not as run down.

"Bad hotel"
Refrigerator dirty in and out, Had run exhaust fan or room smelled of cigarettes, Bed had pocket, Couch stained Floor stained Phone broken, Used two cans of Lysol room still smelled Hotel had lots of kids running in hall ways night and day.

"Not close to Boston for tourists"
This hotel was convenient for me only because I was having day surgery nearby the next morning and didn't want to have to worry about traffic. We also stayed a couple of days after before going home. For this purpose, it was a perfect spot. It was well worth having everything I needed in a small area after surgery. It is NOT near Boston for tourists. The T is not far away, but hard to find parking. This is a business area off a major highway. Not a bad place to pull off the road for the night either. I would stay away from this place. The place is loud. Outer doors that require room keys work only intermittently which means you have to walk all the way around the hotel to get in depending on where you have to park. I wanted the benefits of a kitchen and larger room. So I booked the suite....Big mistake. The room is very dirty. Shower has mildew, carpets are dirty along the edges, and the linens are questionable. Add to this, they only "clean" the room once every 7 days, so my room will not be cleaned for the rest of my stay unless I pay a "nominal fee" to do […] so. They want you to take out your own trash (if its full), the old TV is tiny, and gets only a handful of channels, and paying for the dreadfully slow wireless is a pain. "Homestead Boston Waltham - Convenient, pleasant"
We enjoyed our stay at the Homestead Boston Waltham. Great value. Located in a nice area near corporations and many other hotels. Plenty of parking, right off the highway. Wish there were more restaurant choices within walking distance, but we were happy to visit Bertucci's right up the road. We will definitely consider it again for a Boston visit.
"NOT CLEAN"
It was not clear that there would not be daily maid service which would have been less of a problem had the room been clean to begin with. Crumbs in the drawers, on the floors and carpets. Hair on the bathroom floor. Hallways looked as if they had not been vacummed in weeks.

"Fine if everything else is sold out"
As other reviews said, the place just looks run down. There were mold/mildew spots on the shower curtain. Sheets looked like they were washed and pressed, but the blanket had a stain on it like the color came off something else during the wash. The problem was I found myself constantly checking things (bed, bath, etc) to make sure they weren't dirty. […] I shouldn't feel the need to check everything. I know all the units have kitchenettes, but I'd still rather not smell everybody's food mixed into one every time I open my door. Air the place out or get better ventilation. "Nice Hotel, Horrible Staff"
This was the most rude staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. Anytime I asked a question, they gave me an attitude. I was just trying to figure out when my room was going to be ready. It was impossible to speak with a manager. I left him a message and four days later, I still have not received a call back. The rooms were nice, though.

This place appeared dirty. I would never stay there again. There is no one in the world I ever recommend to stay at that place.
"HOME STEAD HOTEL IN WALTHAM MA"
The Hotel is generally good. Food access to those who do not drive is kind of hard. A Mac Donalds, Wendys or any other food establishment would be of Help. Staff should be on the phone all the time to attend to the customers.

"the Waltham hotel"
It was a bit run down needing some renovation. the room was in the same form and shape as the picture in the website, however a bit older than depicted. The hall ways were dark, gloomy and a bit smelly. It was a cheap price, but you get what you pay for.....

Twice during our stay we had to be evacuated because of a pot left on the stove and a hotel washing machine/drying room alarm going off. I also sensed, after listening to the Waltham fire chief speak to desk personnel, that something (an alarm) should NOT have been turned off by the hotel management. A very poor experience and wildly overpriced for the quality provided. The cost was comparable to a lesser Marriot or Hilton brand but the quality was that of a very bad Motel 6. Extremely unattractive decor, colors, furnitire and an extremely uncomfortable bed, no shampoo in the room, wrong directions to the room location by the staff. Motel is run-down. No coffee, coffee mugs, or water glasses in room. Corrected after visit to front desk. Next morning, coffee maker did not work. Front desk provided new coffee maker when requested. "Boston"
The Homestead was just fine, though I have to say that the mattress was the worst I have ever slept on! The room was not very clean, mainly the kitchenette area where even the dishes looked like they had not been washed. Location was very good.

Overall the Hotel was a good stay for your money..However was not impressed with the TV not having imputs for games, dvd player etc. Also the towels and wash cloths were very hard(rough) definitely not top of the line!! "Dirty, Uncomfortable Hotel. Stay Elsewhere."
I stayed here for two nights in October 2010. This hotel - although conveniently located - was dingy and the "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke. The towels were stained, and the wireless internet was spotty at best. There are plenty of hotels in the area, so I will not stay here again.

I had to knock on the front door and finally a guest let me into the front lobby (11 pm at night), no one was at the front desk, had to use the lobby phone to call somebody but no one answered for about 20 minutes, no shampoo or conditioner in the room, never made my room up on my second day (heard they were short of maids). There are other hotels nearby that are much nicer for a little more money You get what you pay for. "Homestead Boston Waltham - Heck, It's Cheap!"
Expect some inconveniences during your stay. The receptionist acted as if he'd known me for 25 years (he insisted on calling me by my first name). There's no 24/7 desk service - after 11 PM, you'll need to use your room key card to enter the building. Pray that yours will work, because mine did not. I had to call the night shift help on the house phone […] (located in the vestibule) in order to gain entry. After I was let in, the lady said that she would re-scan my card key, but alerted me that the card still may not let me enter the room (she was correct). I returned to the desk, at which time the lady informed me that she had realized her initial mistake and would once again re-scan my card, adding that if the card still did not work, she would issue me a new card (fortunately, I didn't have to go back for a second time). The room (a fully - stocked, no - smoking kitchenette with queen - sized bed) was clean enough, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large enough (the shower curtain had 2 holes in it; however, the mirror was HUGE). The coffee maker and the free bag of coffee (more available at cost) came in very handy in the morning, and tasted better than "OK." Located next door is a Hilton Suites property that costs twice the price of the Homestead. Should you feel the need to be pampered and are willing to pay a higher price for it, stay next door; however, if all that you're looking for is a roof over your head at a good price, the Homestead Boston (Waltham) will fit your needs.
