Per arrivare ogni mattina all'autobus c'era una bella salita e l'ultimo giorno con i bagagli è stata dura. Nel complesso molto pulito e silenzioso, colazione modesta ma sufficiente, personale sintetico ma cordiale. Prezzo moderato in sintonia con la struttura. C'è attaccato Dunkin Donuts e un baretto vecchio stile per gli hamburger ottimo! Abbiamo prenotato con facilità qualche giorno prima e siamo molto soddisfatti. Kikka e Ale

Unica nota dolente , nn hanno frigo bar nelle camere e il bar masina e' troppo caro e fnno aspettare troppo per le coazioni

hotel molto spartano ma comodo e servizi soddisfacenti. unico rilievo la colazione che non ha molta scelta ed è uguale tutti i giorni.

L'hotel è situato a Newark, di fianco a Penn Station: una passerella coperta, con un piccolo centro commerciale, conduce direttamente alla stazione, e varie linee permettono di raggiungere Manhattan in 20 minuti di treno a 5$ a viaggio. Io lo consiglio per chi vuole spendere una cifra umana ma comunque essere comodo per raggiungere Manhattan in non troppo tempo (Penn Station e Madison Square Garden). Le camere sono spaziose e pulite, ma il costo di 10$ al giorno per la Wifi è assurdo. Sotto all'hotel ci sono vari posti dove poter far colazione (Starbucks, Donkey donuts e anche il pub dell'hotel). I treni viaggiano tutta la notte, quindi non si è soggetti a "coprifuoco".. consigliato.

"GREAT stay for the price"
I'm working in the area and needed a place to stay as I could not commute on a daily basis. Hotel staff was very kind. Room was very comfortable, especially the bed. Only issues were with the water pressure of the shower (a common complaint in just about all hotels) and thin walls which is alleviated if you take a room on the 3rd floor.

The hotel is very close to everything we needed in our short stay. The room was clean and neat. Biggest problem I had was the mattress, one person on it and it was fine, add the other person and you meet in the middle. I flet like there was a giant hole pulling us in, very uncomfortable. Surly I was not the first person to complain about it.

May be is the way they build the road, we saw the hotel, but not easy to access due to the one way road, and every time you go some where you need to make a big circle to come back, not so convienience, but server are very friendly.

The hotel was being renovated, so things were a bit "messy," but it was convenient, quiet, and an easy place to stay.

I would have recommended this hotel, however the smell of curry once you get in the lobby and throughout the halls was not the welcome I was looking for. The heat in our room didn't work properly. It started blowing out cold air. The room smelled like pet urine. We had a joining room and our neighbor cooked every morning. It was not a pleasant smell. The hotel was fine in every way, though I was surprised to learn that housekeeping only comes once a week.Not a big problem for me, although it meant no coffee after the first night.
We were just in the area for an overnight stay and the hotel fit the bill very well. The staff was pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable.

"You get what you pay for"
I'd like to say this was a better experience. It's very hard to get to especially if you're not familiar with the way the roads are set up. I was disappointed in the thin walls (the neighbors were very loud) and the creaky bed. Even the TV seemed to be broken. However, the staff was friendly and the kitchen was convenient.

This hotel was in a perfect location for my business stay. The hotel itself was just satisfactory, but I would stay there again on my next trip just for the convenience factor.

"basic overnight stay"
I recently stayed here overnight for a meeting I had in the area the next day. Upon check in the desk counter was empty. I had to wait over 10 minutes to finally be greeted by someone who had no personality at all. "Candlewood Hotel - Parsippany, NJ"
A good value considering the general priciness of the area. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and having a kitchen in the room was quite useful - it's a great way to cut down on the cost of food by buying groceries and cooking for yourself, instead of dining out throughout the day. The hotel itself seems a bit old and is somewhat dimly […] lit on the inside - not the rooms themselves, but the hallways throughout. It looks like it could use a few upgrades, but there's nothing here that's bad or even subpar. It's a solid, convenient choice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. There is a gym, but no pool. The gym is a bit cramped and contains two treadmills, one elliptical, one exercise bike, and one of those all-in-one weightlifting systems that uses pulleys. It was never too busy, which was a plus. "nice and clean"
It has been a while since I have stay at a candlewood suites, the front desks was friendly and very helpful. My room was very clean and spacious. The hotel was booked solid and it was very quiet, nice and relaxing. Would recommend this hotel to everyone ..

"Good location, watch out for road construction"
Convenient location, especially once the construction of on- and off-ramps to NJ10 is completed. At present it makes for confusing access and somewhat nerve-wracking entry onto a very busy North Jersey thoroughfare. Basic accomodation and limited housekeeping, but rooms have real cooking facilities (stoves, microwaves, refridgerators, dishwashers). […] Some room are undergoing renovation so maintenance has been spotty (cosmetic stuff mostly) during several recent stays. Staff very helpful. Facility is dog-friendly, but be sure to give advance notice and do not try to "sneak in" an animal. Numerous places nearby to eat/get takeout and facility is adjacent to a shopping mall and convenient to I-287/I-80/NJ10 arteries. Continua a leggere

"only king-size beds, no room with two beds"
We had booked a room with two beds but at arrival the hotel manager told us that they don't have this room profile at all and that this has to be a mistake. The only solution was that we had to pay an upgrade for a two-beded room with a bed-sofa and a kingsize bed. The hotel was not very clean and very loud. The hotel is what I expected from reading other reviews and for what we paid. Compared to other local hotels that we stayed in over the past three years, on the same holiday weekend, it was by far the best value for the money. Other hotels in the area that were two and three times the price were not much better so we found a good deal with this one. […] The maid service only coming once a week might have bothered me if I was expecting daily service, but because I read another review that mentioned it and I'm a very neat person it didn't bother me at all - in fact - I appreciated not being awaken at 8am by a maid who was trying to get us out so she could finish early.
