Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013La posizione è stupenda in quanto si trova direttamente di fronte a Central Park. La nostra camera era veramente spaziosa. Per la colazione è meglio premurarsi che sia già pagata o meno altrimenti viene addebitata sulla camera e poi bisogna spiegare che era già pagata. Attenzione al frigo bar, ogni tanto caricano sul conto consumazioni non fatte. Nel nostro caso, dopo una breve spiegazione, hanno provveduto immediatamente a cancellarla dal conto finale e senza fare troppe storie. Il personale è stato gentile a parte qualche cameriere un po scorbutico durante la colazione ma con il quale abbiamo subito chiarito, parlando noi un buon inglese.

Very friendly helpful staff. Had heard the music from the open air lobby can be distracting to sleep but we found doors very soundproof and music quite pleasant. TriBeCa Grand has a great location. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating; the front desk, concierge, and doormen were outstanding! Two negatives about the hotel: The lighting in our room was very poor, dimly lit hard to see. The bathroom had a dull yellow tint to the light , for a woman not ideal. Secondly ~ the staff in the lounge/bar […] and restaurant were unfriendly and rude. My husband and I were in New York on business. As guests in the hotel we were turned away two nights in a row form having a drink in the lounge with no concern or care that we were quests in the hotel one night the rude host with a terrible attitude pointed to the bar and said "that's it" we walked in and waited for over 15 mins, we got up and walked out. Fortunately the very professional and friendly concierge working that night made every effort to make things right for us, which was greatly appreciated. The TriBeCa Grand is comfortable and a nice change from other more touristy areas of NYC. However for the second time, the service in the lounge was less than acceptable. After being ignored twice by the server, we asked for help to which the reply was "Were you seated?" There had been no one at the desk of the lounge to seat us. "Excellent hotel, except a bar is not a restaurant"
Overall, I was extremely pleased with my stay at the Tribeca Grand. My room was excellent, clean, attractive and had very comfortable amenities. The service in the hotel was excellent. They went out of their way to accommodate me. The work out room had sufficient equipment for my needs. The lobby, restaurant and bar area are beautiful. A coffee bar, […] on my floor and near my room, had decent, free coffee - not true fresh brew but still more than you expect to find other than in a coffee shop or restaurant. My one and only complaint was with the hotel's restaurant. There were no tables available in the dining room so I was offered a table in the bar, where you have to get up and order off the restaurant menu from the bartender. In other words, I was being asked to pay restaurant prices without a waiter or waitress. That is completely unacceptable. It is wrong to expect to be paid full price for half of something. A bar is not a restaurant. Fortunately - and this makes treating the bar as an extension of the restaurant, but without service, truly puzzling -, the neighborhood is filled with fine restaurants. So, I walked the neighborhood and found a terrific restaurant, with excellent food at lower price. Other than my experience with the restaurant, I thought the hotel was truly excellent. Usually priced a little high for my blood, but when you can get a good rate this hotel provides solid value. The location is unbeatable if you are spending time in lower manhattan. The staff are very friendly and attentive, the rooms quality is solid and the bed is comfortable. Noise level is not too bad for NYC and the restaurant is also very good. "wonderful little hotel"
We had a great time at the Tribeca Grand. It is walking distance to shops and eating in Tribeca and SoHo. Carmen was super helpful with dinner reservations and directions. Near the Hudson River Parkway, so I could go for a morning run to Battery Park. The bar was closed Saturday night when we came home from our show, but there were lots of people in […] the lobby having a cocktails and it was a great time. "Nice small boutique hotel"
Hotel was trendy and well appointed. The reception staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Location was great for us - our daughter lives in Tribeca. There are many good restaurants within walking distance. Hotel was a bit difficult to find, but we don't have a GPS.
