La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

Per esplorare l'area di Midtown senza spendere troppo viaggia in metropolitana. Troverai una comoda stazione ad 1 isolato dall'albergo. In soli 10 minuti potrai raggiungere Times Square e il quartiere dei teatri di Broadway. In alternativa sali a bordo dell'autobus M86 e attraversa Central Park fino al Metropolitan Museum nell'Upper East Side. La fermata più vicina si trova a pochi passi dal Belnord.
Il risparmio continua in hotel, grazie ad una connessione wireless ad internet gratuita, disponibile in tutta la struttura. Hai dimenticato il portatile a casa? Nella hall ti aspetta una comoda postazione PC con connessione a internet ADSL (a pagamento). L'hotel non dispone di ristorante, ma nei dintorni della struttura avrai solo l'imbarazzo della scelta: dalla cucina etnica ai ristoranti tradizionali, il tutto a prezzi convenienti. Zabar’s, il negozio di alimentari più famoso di Manhattan, si trova a 7 isolati dall'hotel.

At first I was so impressed by the aisles: so narrow you have difficult to get over with some bags. My room was large almost than the bed! I didn't know where put the bags! That's incredible! It was clean enough and staff is normally nice. Lot of noises night and day: people sharing bathroom coming and going. Conditioning very noisy even if turned off […] in my room! You save some money but you can go crazy! - Appena arrivato sono rimasto sorpreso da quanto fossero stretti i corridoi.. con i bagagli ci passi a stendo. Poi ho visto la camera! Pochi centrimetri più larga del letto e nessun posto dove appoggiare o appendere qualcosa! Valige chiuse e per terra! Pulizia decente e personale gentile. Ma la camera era rumorosissima di notte e di giorno: gente che usava i bagni condivisi avanti e dietro per il corridoio, aria condizionata rumorosissima anche se in camera era chiusa. Mai visto un impianto così rumoroso, una specie di motore si accendeva a intermittenza sembrava fosse sotto il letto! A noi è piaciuto molto sia per la disponibilità del personale, sia per la pulizia delle camere. Ottima posizione, a 2 passi dalla metropolitana, vari caffè per fare colazione!E' quello che stavamo cercando, buona qualità ed ottimo prezzo!

Look, the hotel is clean and convenient to many of the attractions on the Upper West Side. That said, the rooms are shoe-boxes (I could almost reach both side walls with my arms laying on my bed and there must have been at most two feet between the end of the bed and the wall where there doors for the bathroom (also quite tiny and a bit difficult to […] navigate) and the closet). Further, the hallways are very narrow. And neither the rooms nor the hallways are carpeted, so you hear everything (including some concert outside that seemed to be going on until 2 AM one night). It was so small and so noisy that my wife finally said, id rather drive home, and about 6AM, that is just what we did. "Just what you need to attend a conference in NYC"
Room was basic but very clean and comfortable and well serviced. No luxuries - no restaurant etc and no interaction from staff, but it was just what I needed - very good price and great location. And free wifi. Would definitely use it again.

I was looking for an overnight accommodation. It was just what I needed. I found the price a bit high compared with equivalent in Europe. But this is New York.
Reasonable price, great location, very clean, but without a doubt one of the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in.

Clean, smoll room in the great part of New York with meny good restorants and 7 min walking distance to the Central Park. Good price but not so much light in the room. It has a window with a wiew to the next building. Not breakfast serving. Generally not bad for the price.

Having stayed at a hotel nearby I can give a better comparative. The Hotel Belnord has been recently renovated and the rooms are nicely finished, very clean and such, compared to another in the zone. The biggest problem/surprise was the tiny room size, about 7ft x 10ft, plus a small bathroom. Water pressure was great. Reception was helpful though slow […] processing check-in and check-out due to the fact there was only one receptionist receiving calls, etc. Reception are was large and clean. Good location near subway, shops and restaurants abound in the area. Overall very good, though the room`s size makes it a bit difficult for two to move around with luggage and such. "Paper Thin Walls...."
made it impossible to sleep through the night. The elevator kept dinging and anytime someone walked down the hall you could hear it.
very tiny rooms. Wireless is patchy. Dont seem to care for keeping the rooms in order. overall clean. One day I had a water leak in bath, which they took crae of it immediately and my friend found a dead cockroach in tub. Great location near subway good places to eat/shop.

Front desk was unfriendly and not helpful. The rooms are TINY and there is no sound proofing so you can hear everything (and our room was near the elevator so you could hear everyone's conversations while they waited and the ding of the door opening and closing quickly got annoying). Right near the 1 train, which was convenient and the Upper West side […] is really nice and safe, but also not in the heart of the NYC action. "Belnord - Fine for the price"
Pro's: Great price for NYC, 2 stops from Lincoln Center, 5 min subway to Times Square, clean room, lots of towels, room heated up quickly when temperature was adjusted. Con's: The shower was freezing and then boiling - no comfortable temperature. Rooms are tiny. No clock/radio. Bottom line - You get what you pay for, but for one night it was just […] fine. Checked in late at night and was directed to a deli at the end of the block in response to my request for ice. The bathroom was nicely appointed but the shower head blasted water (not adjustable) so hard against the opposite wall of the shower it created a puddle that spread around most of the bathroom floor in seconds. Way overpriced for no coffee, no closet, intermittent hot water, no place to hang anything even on a hook. Beds were lopsided and the hotel was very loud. Neighborhood was noisy and cleaning staff spoke very loudly in the hall for about 45 minutes at 6 am. Free wifi was also intermittent.
