La camera era spaziosa e pulita, ma purtroppo vi insisteva un terribile odore di fogna, che non si capiva da dove venisse, e anche con la reception non è stato possibile trovare una soluzione.

Siamo stati all'hotel Lirico con mia moglie per 3 notti per un we lungo. Conoscevamo già l'Hotel perchè c'ervamo stati 9 anni fa. Il giudizio positivo resta immutato. Comodissimo sia per la stazione e che per i mezzi pubblici (metro e autobus), situato in un quartiere sicuro e ben fornito di negozi e servizi, centrale per le passeggiate verso i luoghi […] di maggiore interesse. Il personale è molto disponibile e gentile, attento ad ogni esigenza e richiesta, pronto a consigli su mezzi pubblici e itinerari. Camere confortevoli, silenziose e ben arredate. Pulito. Colazione essenziale nelle scelte (ci sono tutti gli ingredienti classici della colazione continentale, il buffet è abbondante e sempre rifornito dal personale molto attento). Hotel piccolo ma confortevole, situato in posizione ottimale sia per la vicinanza alla Stazione Termini che per la vicinanza di importanti monumenti e chiese come Santa Maria Maggiore ecc. Ottima la colazione al mattino; il personale molto gentile.

Gradavole hotel in pieno centro, con una bella vista sul Teatro dell'Opera. Nonostante la posizione centrale, le camere sono silenziose perché completamente insonorizzate. I letti sono molto comodi e le stanze molto ben arredate. Però, in una delle due camere in cui io e la mia famiglia abbiamo soggiornato, non c'era il bidet. Altro disagio, il parcheggio. […] L'unico modo per parcheggiare è usufruire di un garage a pagamento nelle vicinanza: 24 ore, 30 euro. L'Hotel è in ottima posizione rispetto ai mezzi di trasporto (FS e M) ed è abbastanza vicino al centro ed ai siti di interesse sia professionali che turistici. Il personale di reception è molto gentile, disponibile e professionale. C' è veramente un ampia scelta di hotels. Ho voluto scegliere qualcosa vicino la stazione termini per muovermi meglio. Tra i tanti ho scelto l'hotel lirico per la posizione ed il prezzo contenuto. Penso di aver fatto la scelta migliore. Un albergo così non lo avevo mai visto. è classificato tre stelle ma mi hanno assegnato una camera veramente di lusso, […] il servizio era impeccabile, tv satellitare in camera, un' infinita colazione compresa (sia continentale che all'inglese)e tanta anche troppa cortesia da parte del personale, aperto 24h. Il nostro soggiono in questo hotel nel complesso non è andato male. La camera era pulita, il bagno carino ed il letto comodo. La colazione era semplice e gradevole, con pane, succo di frutta, una selezione di confetture, formaggio, salame e prosciutto. Il caffé e' preparato a seconda dei gusti. A 6-8 minuti dalla stazione Termini (ma la prima volta […] meglio chiedere indicazioni alla direzione), la più vicina stazione metro, Repubblica, è a soli 5 minuti a piedi. Si raggiunge il Colosseo in 15-20 minuti a piedi all'hotel. Personale cortese e disponibile. Abbiamo solo trovato una sedia rotta nella nostra camera, e lo scarico non funzionava. L'ascensore era molto stretto e non conteneva più di 2 persone per volta. Ma la permanenza è stata complessivamente gradevole e consiglierei ad altri questo hotel. Continua a leggere

L'arredamento era molto ricco con tessuti bellissimi su tutte le pareti! The hotel is nice overall but outdated as expected in most Rome hotels. there is a long stairway leading to the hotel reception desk that is on the second floor and the only small elevator is very outdated, so we used the emergency stairs to go down but has to use the elevator to go up. The breakfast is okay. The room is small but acceptable, but the […] shower is super tiny and the light in the shower is broken, so it was kinda dark when we shower. I was pretty happy with my stay here, other than the fact that I had to leave early and breakfast didn't start till 730AM. The other issue is that the first floor didn't seem to have a lift and the desk is on the second floor, so have fun with the luggage.

very bad experience in lirico hotel, I arrived in the hotel after I booked and paid for a double room, but the people in front desk told me that the hotel is full, then I was sent to another hotel 300 meters away, the worst thing is he told them to give me a single room!

Very neat, close to bus and train station. Stairs to main lobby, but elevator from there up. Staff was very accommodating, a good selection of cereal, juices, coffee tea, hard boiled eggs, and breads and pastries at the buffet breakfast. Would recommend.

The hotel smells funny. It was not a pleasant smell. The hotel is located close to most of the tourist attractions and very close to public transit and the train station. The hotel could invest in some new pillows as ours were as hard as rocks. The shower was broken so it left water everywhere. When I asked about the WiFi they told me the information […] was in the room, there was no information so we had to ask again for login information. I probably would not stay here again. Overall for the price it is a good value. It is close to the Termini and since we were traveling by train that was great. It is a little far from the areas we were visting such as the Colosseo, Trevi, Vaticanm etc. We did walk a lot so if you intend on seeing these areas and are not up to several miles a day walking you either need to take the bus, […] taxi, or stay at another place a little closer. The room was very small, the shower is the smallest I have ever used. Anyone larger than 210 will have problems. The neighborhood is not unsafe but not the nicest. And as others have said, no elevator to their lobby so you carry luggage up a flight of stairs or have the staff come get them. For us these were all minor inconeviences but we tend to go with the flow. If you are a little higher maintenance type this is not the place for you. Continua a leggere

We stayed here three nights before our cruise left, and then two nights after. Both times the rooms were clean and the staff friendly. Tony, at the front desk, was especially helpful, recommending a great restaurant down the road (Sprega) that was great, and pointing us in the right direction for changing money. Can't beat the location for transfers, […] we had no trouble walking with our rolling luggage to and from the train to get to the port and the airport. For our first transfer, airport to hotel, we asked Hotel Lirico to arrange a private transfer knowing we'd be tired from the trip, and the was reasonable (50 euro for 2) and went very smoothly. The location isn't bad for walking to the sights, either, but we also love to wander on foot. The first room we had, room 311, was a bit small, and the view was of the walls of an inside courtyard, so for the second stay (after the cruise) we requested a bigger room with a view, which they were able to accommodate. Room 312 did not disappoint, giving a great view of the opera house next door and overall being much bigger. Both rooms had a sofa and small table. They will charge you a small fee for the safe key, which seemed a bit silly, but it probably wanders off in forgetful travelers pockets quite a bit. The breakfast was great, a good selection of meats, hard-boiled eggs, granola, pastries, and made to order coffee or espresso! Continua a leggere

We chose the Lirico after carefully comparing its situation and facilities with others at a similar price and it turned out to be ideal for our 5-night stay in Rome. Its location, within a short walk of the Termini station and the Repubblica metro, was a plus point, and yet it was also very peaceful, with no disturbance from traffic or from other guests, […] thanks to excellent soundproofing. There was no shortage of dining options nearby at every price level. Our room was spotless, comfortable and a reasonable size, as was the bathroom. The choice at breakfast (included in the price) was excellent: fruit juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit, cereals, rolls & pastries, cold meats, cheeses, eggs, preserves, hot beverages, etc. Even at busy times we found a table available and the staff did a fantastic job of keeping supplies topped up and clearing tables. Hotel staff overall couldn't have been more helpful, offering us a city map on arrival and making suggestions for eating nearby. On the day of our departure they stored our suitcases ready for collection at our convenience and they even carried them down to the entrance for us without being asked. We stayed at this hotel with friends from the 18th to 21st October. It is in an ideal location to get to from the station and to walk to all the attractions that Rome has to offer. The hotel is lovely, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is continental and plentiful. The bathroom and shower were small but I guess that is typical for Italy. I considered it a discount facility and I got what I paid for. I was not disappointed nor was I thrilled by the experience. Breakfast was decent. We enjoyed the cafe latte. The hotel was clean and convenient. The staff was friendly.

Overall, we were very happy with the hotel and the room. It could have been a little bigger, but it was ok. The shower was about 2 ft. x 2 ft. It's lucky that we are not overweight, because we just barely fit in it. Breakfast was good.

If your looking for location, price and clean this is the right hotel! It offered a good price (except for one night which was overly expensive being a 3 star. But it was very clean which I appreciated. My only observations are two things there are stairs toward the lobby which wasn't the best for my husbands knees and also the shower was like drop […] shower very little pressure but enogh to get cleaned. A small hotel, with really friendly and helpful staff, in a convenient location (just over 5 minutes walk to Termini Station). The bedroom was clean and comfortable, but very small. As a bed and breakfast it was fine, but not the facilities you might expect from a 3 star hotel.

There were hairs on the bed sheets and blankets (house keepers didn't clean the rooms well), some of the bath equipments were already opened and used and not being changed to a new one, rooms are not comfortable because it's so very narrow. There is a long steps before you enter the hotel so it is definitely not for elderly or handicapped guests, elevators […] only takes two persons maximum (guided by receptionists), and our room telephone was not convenient: buttons of the digits were covered by a layer of plastic that was hard to be removed so we couldn't use the telephone. Our stay at hotel Lirico was quite enjoyable. It's about a 5 min. Walk from the terminal Metro stop or repubblica metro stop. Breakfast was good. Assortment of cheeses, deli meats, breads, pastries, boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, and tea. The staff was helpful and most spoke English. A few practical things I liked in particular- you can […] purchase a Roma pass there, they have free maps of the city, and you can pick up water bottles at the front for €1. This was nice for the morning when we wanted to hit the city sites. The room was small but comfortable and charming. The bathroom was actually a pretty good size for a European bathroom. REASONS NOT TO STAY HERE: 1.- No elevator to the lobby, so, good luck with all your luggage as you have to climb stairs to get to the lobby and then some more to get to the elevator level. 2.- Internet works 20% of the time and it is super slow, when you call the lobby to report the problem, they claim it is your computer having a problem. 3.- Safe […] does not work, when you call the lobby they tell you that you have to pay 2 Euros to use it, come on! not for the two Euros but the inconvenience is just out of this world everywhere you look in this hotel. 4.- Very important one, be careful when you shower as the hot water comes and goes and when it comes back, it is very very hot, it burned my 4 year old daughter. 5.- The cleaning crew left our door opened after cleaning the room, when we came back to the hotel, the door was left opened and unlocked, nothing was stolen luckily. 6.- Uncomfortable bed. REASON TO STAY HERE: Fast check-out! although they do charge you 3 EURO per person per day, cash only, upon leaving, due some "city tax". Don't ask receipt for this as they will say that they don't have a working pen to write you one. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY, ENJOY YOUR STAY AT THIS BEAUTIFUL CITY AND DON'T LET IT BE RUINED BY THESE GUYS. Continua a leggere
