Ottima posizione (veramente a due passi dall'aereoporto, appena fuori il rental centre) ma decisamente non all'altezza di quello che ci si aspetta da un Hilton. PS: parcheggio a pagamento a partire da un minimo di 3 pound per un parcheggio che va dai 15 min alle 4 ore, internet gratuito solo nella hall, nelle camere a pagamento.

Ottimo per la posizione, vicinisimo all'aeroporto (che si può raggiungere anche a piedi) e al parcheggio delle auto a noleggio (basta attraversare la strada), comodo il servizio 24h su 24 della navetta per l'aeroporto al costo di 1 sterlina a persona. Ha anche vicinissima la fermata a/r per airlink che porta in centro. Stanza grande e spaziosa. Un pò […] deludente per la pulizia sopratutto del pavimento dove abbiamo ritrovato dei capelli e un fusibile che non si capisce come ci sia finito!!! Poco equilibrato il rapporto/qualità prezzo....da questa prestigiosa catena ci aspettavamo di più. La poca cura nei dettagli no forse è dovutao al fatto che è l'unico hotel nelle immediate vicinanze dell'aeroporto, ciò lo rende appetibile sopratutto per esigenze di comodità per i voli notturni. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dall'hotel. La posizione è comoda anche per il centro grazie al bus dell'Airlink che passa ogni 10 minuti ed ha compreso nel costo del biglietto (6 sterline A/R) la connessione wireless e in 20 minuti si è in pieno centro anche fino a tarda notte. Abbiamo usufruito anche del ristorante nell'hotel e la qualità del cibo […] è alta. I prezzi nella media. La colazione è abbondante e molto assortita. Nella camera abbiamo trovato anche un ferro da stiro e la tavola. La temperatura era regolabile e c'erano diversi campioncini di shampo e balsamo oltre che di crema idratante. Insomma attenti anche ai dettagli. Ci tornerei volentieri. PS. nonostante la zona aeroporto fuori c'è un giardinetto con tanto di leprotti! Continua a leggere

Camera in stile Hilton da aeroporto, dimensioni ragionevoli, pulizia e servizi di buon livello. Comodissimo per il terminal, veramente non più di 6-7 minuit a piedi (se non si vuol aspettare la navetta). Ristorante caro.

hotel vicinissimo all'aeroporto (5-7 min a piedi). Bello, servizio ottimo rapporto prezzo prestazioni. hanno una navetta per l'aeroporto per chi ha fretta. Noi l'abbiamo presa alle 5.30 del mattino senza problemi. BUS per Edinburgo prorprio davanti all'hotel, comodissimo. in 25 minuti si arriva in centro con 6 sterline a/r, e c'è pure wifi a bordo!

L'Hotel è proprio adiacente all'aereoporto, perfetto come base per la visita dei dintorni di Edinburgo e c'è un Park&Ride a 2 min dall'albergo per raggiungere il centro città. La camera era spaziosa e confortevole, magari non manutentata come ci si aspetterebbe da un Hilton 4 stelle, ma nel complesso una buona sistemazione. Nice room within walking distance of rental car drop off allows you to drop rental car the night before your flight departs Scotland. We had four guys sharing two rooms and twin beds were kind of small. YMMV.

The bed was lovely and comfortable and the linen nice and crisp and fresh. Disappointed that there was no fridge or safe. All 4 star hotels should have these as standard. Staff friendly and helpful.

We had an early flight to catch, so we booked the Hilton airport hotel out of convenience. We were warmly welcomed at reception and our room was very much like other Hiltons--clean, decent sized, tea/coffee, water, bathroom amenities, etc. We worked out at the hotel gym in the evening. The gym was very nice with multiple weight lifting and aerobic machines, […] along with many free weights and mats for stretching. The pool was a nice size for anyone wanting to swim laps. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was a bit pricey, but that is to be expected at a hotel restaurant. The food was excellent, though. The room was terrible. Very small "double" bed. Couch in room was frayed on both arm rests. Large gaps between pannelling in bathroom. Terrible condition!

Having landed at the airport at 23.55, this was an ideal location for a late-night stopover. Despite only being a stone's throw from the airport, the room was amazingly quiet; the cooked breakfast the next morning was wonderfully unhealthy, but tasty! My only negative was the very large crack in the bathroom sink which really needs to be replaced.

Very friendly and welcoming hotel ideally located for arrivals or departures at the airport. We stayed there prior after a late flight into the city before a visit and we thoroughly enjoyed a very comfortable double room, along with all the facilities you would expect. Great restaurant and bar service as well. Recommended!

This was my last stop in Scotland after a five week visit with family. The front of house staff were very pleasant and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant staff provided an excellent Gluten Free Dinner including dessert and conversation.

Our room was dated, cheaply put together and simply uncomfortable. The bed stands had patches of vinyl mising (you could see cork), bathroom was dated and basic. Vending machines on all floors were "temporarily out of service" which made me use the expensive onsits bar. No free in-room wifi (GBP 14.99) which I thought was tight for a GBP 140 room. Had an overnight stop between flights, following a skiing trip, it was great to have access to the pool to relax the weary muscles !! Very comforatable beds and not kept away by any noises you regularly get in airport hotels

I stayed here for one night before flying from nearby Edinburgh airport, which is only a short walk from the hotel. The room was big and clean with great complimentary toiletries. Despite being so close to the terminal there was no noise from planes so I did get a good nights rest. I had an early flight so missed breakfast but was offered a mini take-away […] breakfast (pastry, fruit etc) which was excellent. Would definitely stay again. Continua a leggere

The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the terminal building (with almost half of the walk protected by covered walkways) so really handy for catching flights, there is also a shuttle available. The staff were very friendly and helpful, my room was clean and comfortable and there was a good selection available at the breakfast buffet.

After a stressful trip dodging the snow the Hilton Edinburgh Hotel was like an oasis of peace and calm efficiency. The food, the room and the staff were superb.

Near the Airport, but has a bus running every 10 minutes 24 hours a day right out front into the city if need, saves going all the way into the city, good, really upmarket hotel, good value. Good internet in the foyer.

This Hilton has only 2 floors, which gives it a cosy and homey feeling. Service in restaurant and at reception was superb and the room was spacious and comfortable. What a gem of a hotel and one I will stay at again on my way out of Edinburgh.

Have used this hotel a few times now. It was very good as an overnight stop for taking an early morning flight. If you have time the Airport Bus stops right outside so a quick trip into Edinbrugh is possible as well. Could have done without the noise from the plumbing system in the middle of the night. The complimentary drinks and breakfast vouchers […] was an added plus. Food was good in the restaurant. The restaurant and bar are situated not far from the main doors. They need to do something to stop the cold air coming in as this does mean that the restaurant and bar temperature is quite cool. Or the do something with the heating system. Only stayed here one night to prepare for a very early flight. Evening meal was very good and room fairly reasonable though it was on a heavily reduced rate (for the time of year?). I expected the hotel would have been a favorite with business travellers, it had ironing boards in preference to trouser presses (which should be universally scrapped around […] the world) but no safes or WIFI in rooms. Only negative point likely to stay with us was the tidiness of the bedroom corridors. We retired very early and the walkways outside the bedrooms had many used dining trays on the floor. Nine hours later when we were leaving the same dishes were still lying on the floor. The walk to the airport takes about 10 minutes and is paved all the way but it was below zero and we elected to take the shuttle which arrived less than five minutes after being called. This hotel has an excellent location for airport proximity but it is in a rural location and nothing outside the door except the airport outlets. Edinburgh attractions are 30 minutes away during the day by frequent city bus or the more expensive taxi. The hotel is more like an up-market airport hotel than a city center Hilton.
