e non dormire al Marina Bay per almeno una notte è Peccato Mortale! L'albergo migliore al mondo, spettacolare, con un'infinità di servizi, sicuramente non extralusso, ma sempre di Ottimo livello. Consiglio vivamente prenotazione stanza Club, l'aperitivo al 57 piano sul balcone della piscina a sfioro sulla city non ha eguali....

Posizionato in modo ottimale sulla riva del fiume. Il quartiere intorno la sera è molto vivo con una infinità di ristoranti e locali. Si trova a 10 minuti di camminata da china town e a 10 minuti di camminata da Orchard rd (la via centrale con tutti i negozi). L'abergo in se non è bellissimo, le camere abbastanza piccole e con arredamento un po' datato. Ma per il tempo che io sono stato in albergo, la camera andava più che bene.

L'albergo si trova in una zona residenziale di Singapore. Si trova sulla linea della metro che ti porta dall'aeroporto in centro città. In 25 minuti si raggiunge dall'aereoporto. Nelle vicinanze dell'albergo si trova la zona Bugis molto viva. Non è molto lontano nemmeno da little india. Purtroppo per mangiare non ho trovato vicino nulla, a parte il mc donald che si trova esattamente sotto l'albergo. La cosa ottima è che l'entrata dell'albergo è a 20mt dalla fermata della metro, quindi ottimo per muoversi .Lo stato dell'albergo è impeccabile, le camere sono belle e pulite e con arredamento moderno. Molto carina la finestra della camera che è grande quanto il muro che dà sull'esterno. Il personale molto disponibile. All'interno dell'albergo c'è anche un ufficio che organizza le gite per la città.

Hotel molto bello soprattutto negli interni. Ascensori stupefacenti soprattutto quelli esterni all'hotel. Le camere sono di buon livello, ma forse un po' vecchiotte rispetto al resto dell'hotel. Colazione buona ma cara. Gentilezza ovunque e posizione buona. L'hotel tra l'altro confina con un centro commerciale con accesso diretto. Piscina comoda e funzionale.

"Buon hotel"
Buon hotel, in buona posizione, vicino ad orchard road ed a 10-15 minuti a piedi dalla marina, Stanza grande e colazione all'altezza di un 4 stelle. Internet a pagamento come la colazione un po care (30€ al giorno per il binomio internet-colazione)

"Near 2 MRT stations and bus stops"
The size of the room was just right for 2 adults and 1 child. We don't mind that our 6 yr old son sleeps with us on the king size bed. The bed was comfortable for all of us. The size of the bathroom is just right. The shower area is spacious and the rain shower nozzle is a plus. One comment... my son wishes there are children's channel in the cable. "Not really what you are looking for"
We lived there for five days in April 2012. Location is quite good, room was okay(a bit small for my taste), bathroom good. Some noise from the ground and traffic, though I would imagine much more so at the lower levels(we lived at floor 9 out of 12). Breakfast had a lot of choises, though nothing tastes as good as it looks. We had a problem with my […] girlfriend getting allergic reactions from the feathers in the duvet. The staff showed no understanding of this problem and had no solutions to help us. After complaining three or four times over two days trying to explain the problem we eventually got rid of the duvet and had some sheets to cover us in. On asking why they could not purchase a synthetic duvet for us(costs 10 bucks at IKEA f.ex) we got the excuse that they did not have one(why we wanted them to buy one) and that the boss would have to approve it(something it was made clear was way out of the question) This hotel is very friendly and helpful as long as you do not need any help. "Convenient location for art lovers"
The hotel is just a block away from the Singapore Art Museum and the Singapore National Museum, and also next to the Singapore School of Arts. It is also walking distance to the Chjimes and Raffles. The hotel restaurant was great. It is also on Orchard, so you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. Nearby is the huge Plaza Singapura mall. Two subway […] stations nearby as well. The hotel is well situated near the MRT and easy walking distance to a number of tourist sites. The staff were pleasant and efficient and were on hand to arrange taxis for the guests. The bed was fairly firm but after the first night I found it quite comfortable. The only complaint was that we sat in the downstairs lounge and ordered three white coffees. […] The price was ridiculously high and was the dearest coffee we purchased in Singapore, and that included coffee at Raffles. Naturally, that was the one and only drink we had at the hotel and after that we did not venture into the dining room. The hotel have just remodeled recently. Every corner around the hotel is clean and neat and the location is quite convenient to shopping area or scenic spots.

quite a reasonable hotel, with good facilities. we asked for an infant bed which was provided, however one side of the bed was broken..were able to make do. disappointing room service menu, very expensive when compared to outside restaurants overall decent hotel, however at this price one would expect much better!

This hotel is a 'city hotel' with a pool, small gym, lounge bar and restaurant. There is a very nice little jacuzzi next to the pool. The staff are fantastic - friendly and professional. The concierge is the best I have encountered any where. The rooms are compact (as are almost all in Singapore city) and newly refurbished but do not feel small due […] to the selection of light colours and high ceilings. The location is great - you can walk to Orchard Road, Chijmes, Raffles City and many other places within 5-10mins. The hotel restaurant is pricey but there are some eateries all around that area. "Thin walls, noisy halls!"
Stayed there 2 nights, incredibly noisy though very nice rooms and beds. I think they have deals with large tourist companies whose very rowdy and noisy tour groups are housed here and thus help run this hotel! Internet is not cheap or free, and loads of eating venues close to the hotel- so don't waste time eating at the hotel or doing a breakfast deal. […] Turn left on Bras Basah road, a block after you will see the 'Kopitiam', where your food choices are a sheer wonder and delight, and another block or two to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for free internet. Comfortable albeit slightly cramped room with baby cot for our 7-month old son. Good (room) service and quick reaction to special request (the AC in our room was too cold for comfort but the problem was swiftly rectified by a dedicated hotel janitor).

I have always stayed at the Rendezvous whenever I traveled to Singapore, whether on my own or with friends. This recent trip, because it was a week-day, the reception was very kind, and allowed us (me and my husband) an early check-in without extra charges. There are a number of hotels in the Rendezvous' vacinity but none has its class and outlook. […] The Concierge was most helpful. The staff there deserves a commendation. The restaurant/cafe downstairs has a good buffet (dinner) spread. Besides that, it serves quite delicious Asian food as well. If you don't want to eat in, you can always step outside the hotel and across the Bencoolen Street there is the Kopitiam, where you can get a basic breakfast set for only S$2.00! The set contains 2 pieces of toast with butter and kaya (a local coconut jam spread), coffee or tea, and two soft-boiled (half-boiled) eggs. I like this place because it is air-conditioned, and there are numerous cleaners keeping the tables and floors neat and the whole place tidy. Worth mentioning is the fish-ball noodle stall -- very delicious! To the left of the hotel is the Bencoolen Street and a walk along here presents numerous other eating place. If you want to shop instead of eat, turn right from the hotel's front and you're on your way towards Orchard Road. These are two of the main reasons why I always stay at this hotel. Highly recommended. Only down-side is the internet -- it is expensive. But along Bencoolen Street there is an internet cafe that charges S$4.00 for an hour. Great deal for fast internet. "Rendezvous Singapore is a miss"
Not a great experience. Power ports are only next to the bed but the wireless signal doesn't reach that far so using the computer is not so easy. Shower sprayed all over the bathroom, toilet didn't flush and the walls are paper thin. Considering the cost of the room, it was a pretty pathetic experience that I don't tend to repeat in the future.

The only disappointment is the breakfast. No continental or cheap option. Found breakfast expensive. Fortunately there is a good and cheap option around the corner.

"Under Construction"
The rooms have been renovated but the entrance is under construction. There is loud construction and the place is fairly dusty. Just an FYI before you book. Location is great.

This is an excellent hotel located close to the important civic district of Singapore. The staff are courteous, yet friendly and are very helpful. The rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean. We got upgrades to absolutely super rooms on two of the nights we stayed there this August. The only drawback I can think of is the temporary noise level […] at reception/bar/resturant area of the upgrade works which are currently underway (to be completed in Sept 2011, I think). "Great value within a nice area"
Rendezvous Hotel is conveniently located near MRTs and next to a food court that operates 24 hours. It is also within walking distance of Raffles City which connects to the rest of the MRTs. The rooms are nice and clean and they even provide an iPod/iPhone charger plus speaker. Very convenient.

Althou the Hotel is going thru major renovations it wasnt a problem staying there...Great location with excellent train stations within 3mins... The Concierge men were very helpful and couldnt do enough for you....made our stay... 24hr food hall across the road..very handy..

Where to begin. The staff are rude and unwelcoming. Felt like we were a burden arriving rather than guests. The beds were so hard we couldn't sleep and my Dad actually had back problems by the 3rd night. As for the rooms; small and uncomfortable. I also found a moldy grape under the chair in the room. Heaven knows how long that had been there. They […] are currently doing renovations which is fine... but the amount of work being done on each and every floor is a ridiculous amount to still be open and hope that guests have a nice stay. You are constantly faced with cardboard teddy bears asking you to bear with them during this time, but all it did was irritate and patronise us till we were so annoyed by the last day that we were glad to be leaving. On check out the staff were not friendly and tried to charge us for 2 bottles of water that we never consumed. I think that the staff in this hotel let down Singapore terribly and should not be in the hospitality business at all. So to sum up, if you want to be in a small, strangely furnished, dirty room with moldy fruit under the furniture and sleep in beds that are less comfortable than the pavement outside and have rude people to assist you... well then come to the Rendevouz hotel. "Rendezvouz Hotel, Singapore - Hard Beds"
This hotel is in a good location, has wonderful staff and nice clean rooms. Unfortunately we were there when the pool was being renovated, so we did not have access to it. The alternative of using the YMCA pool was not attractive. The big problem for us was the very, very hard bed. We hardly slept on our first night, a few hours on the second night […] (due to exhaustion) and not at all on the third night. The hotel tried to help by putting several mattress protectors on the bed, but this made little difference. The hotel is undergoing renovation, and I hope the beds are being upgraded as well. "Excellent Central Location"
Hotel was in an excellent location to see all of "old Singapore" Less than 5 minutes from the central subway station and 20 minutes from most of the scenic parts of the central city. Hotel under renovation so pool and such closed, but the work was not intrusive. Air conditioning not up to snuff for me (I'm from Seattle) but probably OK for most.
